Another blockbuster for Travis and his growing associates
Love the Travis Delta series that builds up each book with the continuing backgrounds and characters building to this climactic book, where the future books (I hope) will have just as much well written action for Travis and Snakeriver. Brilliant stuff. Looking forward to book 6.

This story begins with the destruction of Delta's cabin and plane at his home in Heaven, Alaska. Luckily Delta had decided to sleep in a tent in order to get photos the next morning. Delta with his plane gone now began a trek that would take him to Kiana, the closest place to get help. On his trek he was sighted by a Blackhawk helicopter who then tried to kill him, they were not successful. Once he made it to his location, he then began planning what to do against the party that was trying to kill him. He determined that it was Patterson,POTUS. who wanted him dead. He later learned that there were several individuals who had gone missing such as Phillips and Holloway. It turns out that the Russian President, Morozov, had something on POTUS which had POTUS doing what Morozov wanted which was to have Delta killed. Delta now had to try and avoid both of them.
Delta later learned about Morozov's hold on POTUS and felt once he learned he could bring Patterson down. Delta was told that there was a video of something so Delta wished to get the video. Delta was told then that the person who could do it was scared and that it was too dangerous, so at the time Delta determined that if he killed Morozov, then the chance to get the video was much better.
Follow Delta and his associates as they develop a plan to kill Morozov. The ending is well done and sums up nicely all the issues that were still unresolved.
This is another great story in the series and well worth the read, don't miss out!
An American President is invited to Russia to spend a weekend skiing with the Russian Premier and he will go without his wife. The President decides to enjoy a little furlough from his wife and all of the governmental attachés that go along with his trips. What could go wrong?
The people in our government who are opposed to his high-handed policies seem to wind up missing. He will declare a national emergency and then have his way with the country.
Travis Delta sees the quandary that the US President is facing. The President is nothing more than a puppet for a very corrupt Premier. Travis’s life depends upon stopping the President. But Travis has been marked for extinction by both leaders.
This book follows the fears of many in our country who watch the President bypass the Constitution and utilize the military for his own purposes. The world watches as these two put their heads together. Read and enjoy! 5 stars – CE Williams
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with the opportunity to read and review this book. Any opinion expressed here is my own.
Travis Delta is in Alaska preparing to make a big move as he is getting married so is camping by the lake to get some final pictures when he hears aircraft. He then watches his home and plane be destroyed. Travis waits to make sure they are not coming back, then goes to access his underground bunker as he has no choice but to hike to the nearest settlement.
Lots of questions and no answers, but he on the move. He contact Liv to tell her what is going on and she fills him in on mysterious disappearances of government people including his boss at Snakeriver.
The story moves quickly pulling Travis and the trio in South Korea together along with other contacts he has developed while Snakeriver is in dark mode. If you like power plays, political conspiracies, blackmail and action then you will enjoy this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book from the first chapter to the last. It is a very entertaining action thriller. It is not for everyone since it is also a political thriller. Some might take offense if their views are different than ones described in the story. I view it as a work of fiction, a well written one, and thus politics is dictating the plot.
Travis Delta is fighting for his own life in this volume with limited resources at his disposal, a lot less than usual. He has dedicated his whole adult life to serving his country, willingly putting his life in danger for each mission. I was cheering for him to serve his unique blend of justice from chapter 1. I recommend this book and the whole series.

This was a brilliant, riveting and quite a topical read in the current climate. The president is on a mission and Travis is in the crosshairs. I loved the thrill of the hunt from both sides, and his new mission is the ultimate revenge mission.
It was hard to read at times, knowing that it is fiction yet not too far away from current events in some respects. The action races through various locations across the globe and I loved his Travis gets his old contacts involved to assist him. I found the ending quite fitting when justice finally prevails. i wonder what is next in store and can't wait to find out.

The latest adventure in the Travis Delta takes it up a notch in Russ Stone's excellent series that keeps getting better. The parallels between Stone's characters and some of today's political figures and scenarios can't be denied - you'll have to read it to see what I'm talking about - and their nefarious dealings at the highest levels makes Delta a disposable asset.
But if there's anyone who can defy the odds and serve justice to those who deserve it most, it's Travis Delta - normally a one-man wrecking crew and blunt tool, but this time around needing to exercise precision with deft to prevail.
This is an excellent read, and I highly recommend it!

And the Stone 5 stars just keep on coming!! Another fabulous Travis Delta read with all the usual compelling parts: suspense, thrills, non stop action and a plot that is only too easy to believe in today's chaotic minefield of a world. And characters that as, always in this fab series, jump right off the pages. Travis finds himself under attack: by his own country. Narrowly escaping a US supersonic war plane attack on his Alaskan cabin, he sets off to find out why his government tried to kill him, while trying to stay alive. I am definitely a black ops, covert teams story lover and the Delta series is right at the top.of my list. Every. Single. Time.
We find Travis Delta having to survive in the wilderness as, his own military are hunting him. The order to take him out is from the highest office in the land. The President has been compromised by the Russians. The only way to save himself is to do ask they ask and have Travis killed. Travis turns the tables on those hunting him and starts hunting him. Action, drama, fast paced and trust me you wonder if it could be true. Sit back and be ready for the rollercoaster.

I think this is the best one in the series so far. Travis is in the hot seat when the President, who is in cahoots with the Russian president, decides that he must be eliminated. True to form that task proves to be a bit difficult to execute. Travis enlists the help of several people he has worked with in the past. This was a pure adrenaline rush from start to finish. While I truly understand some may think the story is too far fetched….it is after all fiction. I found it highly entertaining to lose myself in this exciting story for a few hours. Wow! Another hit. This reads like an action movie, but it really hits home with what is going on in the US right now. Don’t know if that was intentional on the authors part, but it came out at the right time. Kudos to you if that was intentional, still a great read if it wasn’t. Well written, great storyline, and always good characters. Can’t wait for the next one.

Travis Delta is at it again. This time he is the target of high ranking government officials in the US and Russia. He does what he does best….gives payback where payback is due
This book has a president that could be compared with our current president. Whether that be the intended case or not, this is a work of fiction. I enjoyed the book and look forward to the next installment.

Travis barely escaped death by camping in the woods instead of being in his home when it and his plane were blown to smithereens. The things I like most is how Delta out maneuvers his enemies, there's plenty of action, there's always corruption of some kind and he's ready to get married although I don't think he'll settle down yet there will always be a mission somewhere for him
"Iron Curtain" is a complete waste of Travis Delta's time. It’s hard to even call this book just fiction—it quickly dives into pure fantasy. The idea of an assassin operating outside government and legal protections being sent to kill a president who is working from within to dismantle those same protections is laughable. Who are the villains here? It feels like Russ Stone is just making a weak attempt to attract some Democratic Party readers.

I was completely hooked on this book from start to finish in fact this series is so good if you’re a thriller fan you need to start this one. Travis Delta is such a great action character and I love how he progresses through each book I cannot wait to see what danger he gets himself in for the next book.

I could hardly put this series down. Delta's character is exciting with thrill on every page. The bold storylines, especially in book 5, are stark reminders of the fragility and sacredness of democracy, never to be taken for granted!
This book should be required reading for all Poli Sci students. As we speak, much of what we read in this book is eerily reflected in our current political reality. This book should be widely read and recommended.
