Addison had survived captivity with Doctors who put her through excruciating pain. She couldn’t remember her parents she had seen many shifters disappear over the years and now it seemed like she was the last one but somehow she had managed to escape. She felt the pull, the yearning for something she didn’t understand. But she ran as far and as fast as she could to get away from the hell that she had been living in.
Zeke was happy for members of his pack that had found their mate, but he was secretly jealous. He wanted what they had. when the pack leader comes in telling them there is a wolf on their territory they all go running but Zeke knows what he is running towards. He is running towards his mate but when he sees this small fragile girl with bruises on her skin, his heart breaks and he carries her back to the pack. Vows in that second to protect her.
Addison woke to strange faces. She never understood that she was a wolf. It wasn’t until she got the collar off her neck that she could turn she could shift into her wolf and that’s how she got away but now can she trust the people around her??
Gosh your Heart just goes out to Addison who didn’t understand Food terms or what her mate was really about. she had to learn everything again. Something in her told you could trust Zeke but could she tell them about her past??
Zeke is so patient with Addison he wants the very best for her even when she tries to tempt him. He wants her healed he wants her safe and he wants her to want him. This is a beautiful story about survival about finding that one person you trust with everything. I’m really enjoying the series and I’m really looking forward to the next Book.

Short but addictive slightly different so hang on you won’t put it down until the last page has been turned. Addison makes you want to give her a huge hug telling her it will work out she has been in captivity most of her life, experimented on by the scientists among other things she remembers the pain, the loneliness, but as she got older she felt herself getting stronger despite her attempts to escape before something inside tells her it is time to and breaks free from the compound never looking back. Zeke sexy as all get out younger brother has watched his brothers, sister find the other half of their souls wondering when it will be his time, to find his mate although he know he hasn’t been forgotten when he hears about the rouge and he heads another way finding a broken mate but she is his carrying back to his pack breaks his heart knowing her body is all bruised, broken he will make sure she is protected. Addison wakes with to strange faces, not understanding what is happening to her, she didn’t know she was a wolf because the collar but once it is removed but she questioned if she can trust these people although she can’t explain the trust she feels towards her mate and the patients he shows her, helping her heal but will she allow herself to heal with these new people, can she trust them not to hurt her, will he be able to show her that she is his world, and have she finally found peace along with happiness?

Finding Fate Wildheart Pack Series Book 3 might be a short story but it definitely packed a big punch. While part of a series it can be read as a standalone. Book 3 follows Addison and Zeke.
Addison has been held captive for 10 years suffering through being electrocuted, burned, injected with drugs and serums by people wanting to analyze how shifters heal and live so long. After one grueling experiment she wakes feeling the strong need to escape. She breaks free and runs for her life.
Zeke a member of the Wildheart Pack is out in search for a lone wolf that has crossed into their territory. He finds himself feeling an urgency he never felt before. The Pack discovers a naked, bruised female either asleep or unconscious. He immediately know she's his mate and tells the others to back away.

What happens when she wakes up in a strange place not understanding how she got there and afraid to trust anyone. Will he be able to explain what being a fated mated means? Can Zeke ease her mind and gain her trust before the people she ran from come looking for her?

My heart honestly hurt for Addison in this one. She’s been through absolute hell after being held captive and experimented on for years, and watching her finally escape felt like a huge moment. You can really feel how scared and broken she is at first, which made it even sweeter when she ends up crossing paths with Zeke.

Zeke immediately realizing Addison is his mate was pretty intense, but I liked how patient he tried to be with her. She’s obviously been through so much that trust doesn’t come easy, and seeing him try to give her space while still protecting her was really nice.

It’s a short story but a lot happens and it still manages to pack in the emotion. If you like fated mates, protective shifters, and wounded heroines who finally get someone on their side, Addison and Zeke’s story is definitely worth the quick read.

I really enjoyed this shifter romance! 😊

Even though Darcy Rose's books are always very short and fast paced and often with some sort of insta love trope, I really like them. They're short and to the point, but always with enough character depth and development that I can fall into the story without isues. In this case it is a shifter romance with the fated mates trope, so the insta love and connection makes complete sense and doesn't seem at all overboard. I love this!

I must admit I didn't know upon requesting this ARC that this was already book 3 in the series so I hae now skipped book 2 and definitely want to go back and read this one as well, because I have enjoyed book 1 as well when it was released.

While this book is completed in itself and does have a happy ending for the characters, there is also a cliffhanger hinting at more books to come in the series, because the overall plot does continue and I am really lookng forward to it. 😊

I have read all the books in this Fated Mate series and found it just as compelling and as much of a fast read as the others. This book follows Zeke and Addison. Addison had been held captive in a laboratory performing tests on wolf shifters for many years, having little memory of her life before. She manages to escape and meets Zeke in the woods, where their mated connection becomes apparent. There is still the threat of the secrety laboratory who performed these tests on Addison (and presumably, the threat of their performing it on other shifters). The focus of the story wasn't much on the mated relationship, but more on the eradication of the laboratory, which is managed by the end. However, there is a cliffhanger at the end that the battle with the secret testing isn't over. Overall a good read, but wished there was more focus on the relationship between Zeke and Addison.

Addison has been imprisoned and tortured for 10 years. She doesn't remember her life before she ended up at this facility. She feels a pull in her chest and finally has the strength to escape. She follows the pull in her chest until she can't run anymore. Zeke feels an unexpected pull when all of a sudden Declan, his Alpha brother, gets a call about a lone wolf on their land. They take off to investigate, and Zeke takes the lead. As soon as he catches her scent, he knows that she is his mate. When some of his family find out what's been done to her, they do everything in their power to protect her. But it's not over.

Finding Fate, book three in the Wildheart Pack series follows Zeke Black, and Addison Snow. Addison has been in captivity most of her life, being tortured while the scientists ran experiments on her, everything from injecting her with different serums to electric shock to physical abuse. But when she turns eighteen, something inside her awakens, calling out to her with a strength she doesn’t understand. Breaking free from the compound where she’s being kept, she follows the pull until she meets Zeke.. and her entire world changes to something good for once.

Addison escapes from her tortured world and is found by Zeke who knows instantly he would do anything for her. She is skittish and wary of those around her even though they mean her no harm, which is understandable after all she has went through. It’s only Zeke she can lean on for a little while and as she does their bond starts to form. As mates their lives are completely intwined and they will do anything to keep each other. Zeke knows the mating bond is intense and yet he is patient and kind to her willing to take his time and Addison will break your heart.

Addison has been kept in a cage for most of her life. When she finally escapes captivity, she is found by Zeke and his pack in their territory. Turns out she's a wolf shifter, and she's Zeke's fated mate. Addison has been through a lot, and I love how protective Zeke was of her and how the author brought them together. Finding Fate is book three and a great addition to the Wildheart Pack series. The writing is good, the characters are interesting, and the story is filled with danger, drama, suspense, humor, steam, and a great ending. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Addison has lived through hell so when she finally breaks free, she never thought she would find someone like Zeke. Zeke wasn't expecting to find Addison when he got word that a lone wolf had crossed into his border, but when he spots her lying in the field, he realizes Addison is more than a lone wolf but his mate. Short but entertaining.

Imagine being held captive for over 10 years, the whole time being part of an experiment- that was what Addison experienced until she was able to escape. Her escape brings not only her life back to her but so much more. There is lots of heat but the issue with her captures play a big role in the story. Some violence that is part of a revenge for Addison.

Addison and Zeke meet when she escapes captivity and runs. She doesn’t know she is a wolf shifter until her collar came off. Zeke’s pack leader finds out a wolf is in their territory and they go looking for her. But Zeke knows she’s his mate and he will protect her, and help her heal. She will have to learn to trust him and herself to move forward with him.

This is a good story, with plenty of ups and downs and some very hard moments. Addison’s backstory is a painful one so please read the triggers.
I like Zeke and Addison. Zeke tries to be a patient mate, but I love the moments when Addison’s bluntness undoes him. It is funny to read about a grown man squirming.
This story takes the fight to Axiom and leaves them in an interesting predicament, and I hope we find out what happens next with Declan’s story 🤞

Finding Fate is the 3rd book in the Wildheart series. This book is about Zeke and Addison and is told from both of their points of view.

Addison has been held captive most of her life, and has been tortured and tested on and has had enough. She escapes and is on the run. Zeke and his clan has found a lone shifter on their land and go out to find out who it is. When they get to the shifter Zeke realizes she is his mate. She is bruised up and unconscious. He takes her to his place.

Once she wakes, he learns her name is Addison but she won't say what has happened to her. Zeke takes it slowly with her, and realizes she has a lot to learn. Can Addison learn to trust Zeke and his family. Can Zeke keep Addison safe from those after her? Will Zeke and Addison get their happy ending?

I really enjoyed this book and getting to know these two characters. It was a short quick read for me, and I enjoyed the series as a whole.

Another great Fated Mate/Shifter novella in the series!
This is Zeke’s Story!

Dark, intense, and seriously hard to put down. The whole escape-from-captivity storyline had me hooked, and the fated mate element added just the right touch of emotion and hope. It’s heavy at times, but so worth it for that satisfying HEA.

Addison and Zeke were wonderful together. Zeke was so sweet, caring, and patient with Addison. Addison is so strong and is patient with her new life after she escaped. I really the drama, love, action, justice, and HEA that these two get and I can't wait to see what happens next.

The way Addison was treated at the lab wrecked my heart so I was elated when she escaped and Zeke found her in the woods. Zeke and Addison's story is fast moving and plenty steamy that had my interest from start to finish.

Fast paced, easy to read and super enjoyable. I love fated mates, especially in a novella because the insta love just works perfectly.

Addison went through such heartbreaking trauma, but Zeke and his family helped her through it. The characters were very likable and the story had a great plot!

Addison (FMC) has grown up in a place where she was systematically tested on and tortured for years. One break for freedom led her to Zeke and the Wildheart Pack. Only Addison is completely naive about being a shifter and being a lone wolf in a close pack. It was good to see some of the crossover characters from other books in this series. This was another good read with characters I really liked.
