We continue with Andrej’s story, with him growing used to life in a penal colony, his desire to leave, and the friendships that help him. The book maintains well-written dialogue, and compelling prose like the first book. This novel seems to move a little faster, and has more heartbreak and betrayal in it than the first. I felt engaged the entire time, wanting to know what happens next.

Excellent follow on in the serious which is so well written, you are drawn into a real world of a life that is being bled out on the pages so amazing anyone could live through such atrocity. Highly recommend this book to all that want to learn about real friendship real trust and how easy it is destroyed.

Gripping

Part 2 tightens its grip even more. Until you've reached the end, this book will be the reason why others can't get your attention. Vivid details pull you into the action and paint a picture for the reader instantly. It is a work of art following part 1 of this book series. Looking forward to where we will go next as the series continues.

Totally Based

Another gritty episode in Andrej's saga of crime, survival and honor set in a collapsing Soviet Union. This is one you'll not want to put down

Absolutely superb. Takes GRIM Begins and elevates the series to a whole new level.

An amazing story!

I have never read such a gripping series. This second volume is even better than the first. It is more exciting any comic book and gives great real world advice.

I was very curious to read this sequel and was not disappointed. It manages to keep the reader engaged throughout. I would describe it as a real page turner. Well done!
