New York Times and USA Today Best Seller L. Wilder brings a story for readers who like their alpha men loyal, their stakes high, and their love worth fighting for.
Trouble had found its way to our doorstep. And now, things were shifting under our feet. Every move mattered. Any mistake was a hit we couldn’t afford.
And through the lies, the blood, and the betrayal, there was her.
She was part of my past I couldn’t bury. I never expected to see her again, but there she was. Beautiful as ever and a pull I couldn’t shake
It was time to face the truth.
Love doesn’t play fair. Blood doesn’t always mean family. And the choices we make aren’t always the right ones.
I’m Goose. This is my story. And if you think you know how this ends… trust me. You don’t.
Gooseis a standalone MC romance with a group of foul-mouthed, possessive alphas who will do whatever it takes to protect the women they love. No cliffhanger and no cheating. Enjoy the ride!
This is another addition to Satan’s Fury MC Little Rock series and we have Goose and Presley’s story. It was one that kept me glued to the book. Goose and Presley have known each other since high school but now they are older and Presley learns how she misjudged Goose. With Goose’s brother in the mix, things are just crazy. This book had it all from steam, betrayals and family drama. I always look forward to this author’s books, and this one was a another five star read for me.
As we set back into the world of the Satan’s Fury MC Little Rock chapter, L Wilder proves yet again that she stands on her own pedestal in the gritty MC romance genre.
Goose maybe book 9 but what a heart pounding raw fast paced ride it is, love isn’t going to come easy for Goose and Presley the girl he remembers from his high school days and the HEA hard fought. And in Goose’s words:
Love doesn’t play fair. Blood doesn’t always mean family. And the choices we make aren’t always the right ones.
Goose and Presley are perfect for each other. They both are dealing with sibling drama. This book kept me flipping the pages; I couldn’t get enough of it! I can’t wait to see what the next one in the series brings.
Goose: Satan's Fury MC - Little Rock (Book 9 of 9) by L. Wilder is a romance about Luke Crenshaw, also known as Goose, an MC biker who owns the strip club Vault, and Presley Mayes, a local good girl who owns a hair salon. When Presley’s younger sister, Lila Kate, offers to deliver a package for a bar patron to earn money for college, her life changes forever. Lila Kate ends up being beaten, her package stolen, and she now owes dangerous people $100,000 for the missing package. Presley steps in to try to fix things for her sister, leading her to pretend to be Goose’s brother Davis Crenshaw’s girlfriend. Davis, the remorseful brother with nowhere to stay, invites her to stay at Satan’s Fury clubhouse for a few days. Even though Presley knows about Davis’s plan to get money from the club, she keeps her distance out of fear. Secrets unfold and are revealed, along with internal emotional barriers to trusting others being broken—despite Goose’s hidden feelings for Presley. When she brings a pie she baked to Goose’s dad’s house, Luke begins to warm up to her. In fact, he asks her out on a date, which she happily accepts. This marks the beginning of their love story, filled with romance and steamy scenes. Presley has to find the money needed to repay those who owned the stolen package from Lila Kate, a difficult task. Lily Atlas is an expert MC writer who masterfully keeps the story full of suspense with a spicy love story that her readers adore.
Goose and Presley's story took us on a wild ride of intrigue, suspense, love, and found family betrayals, secrets, and unexpected twists.
Presley, a problem solver, is beautiful, kind, and loving, willing to do anything to keep her loved ones safe.
Goose, full of kindness and compassion, believes in the goodness of others unless proven otherwise. It's evident that Goose had a difficult childhood he has yet to overcome, and our hearts go out to him for the challenges he has faced with his family.
Presley and Goose first met in high school, where Goose harbored a little crush on her. However, he is shocked to discover that she is dating his estranged brother. As the story unfolds, the club remains embroiled in a war, and Goose's brother, Davis, remains a mysterious figure. Presley, distrustful of Davis, becomes protective of the club and Goose, though her true motives for being with him remain a secret.
The romance between Presley and Goose is palpable, and they make a great pair. Presley's sister adds an interesting dynamic to the story, and the banter among the club brothers is entertaining.
Overall, this was an engaging and enjoyable read that kept us on the edge of our seats, waiting for the next twist. We were pleasantly surprised to see Goose's father rejuvenated since Presley entered their lives, indicating a positive change in their family dynamic.
Simply Outstanding. If you have read any of Ms. Wilder’s Satan Fury series, you are really missing out. These men are more than just a club. They are also a family banded together by brotherhood rather than blood. They are fierce, loyal and protective. All of this is very evident with Luke (aka: Goose) and Presley’s story. Luke has an older brother, Davis, that has always resented Luke and has caused Luke and his father nothing but trouble. Presley has a younger sister that can’t seem to stay out of trouble. In fact her latest fiasco has put Presley in a heck of a bind, trying to come up with a huge amount of money that neither of the girls have. On a strange twist of fate, Davis is the one they need to come up with the money for. This in turn throws Presley in Luke and the Satan’s Fury world. From here the storyline takes us readers on a wild twisting and turning ride that kept this reader on her toes. The storyline includes betrayals, mistrust, misplaced loyalties, right along with romance, passion and sparks galore.
I can’t recommend Goose and the Little Rock chapter of Satan’s Fury enough (well all the chapters of Satan’s Fury for that matter). Grab them up asap…. You won’t regret it.
Good back story going on in this one. The complexities of family are driving most of the drama. It's difficult when someone in the family is a toxic victim, and it's even harder to know when to go no contact. The MMC never gives up on his brother - which is honorable - but the cost is steep.
“I vouched for him… put my patch on the line. Hell, I put the whole damn club on the line.” “You trusted your brother.” “And look how that turned out.” “It’s a tough one.” Preacher let out a long breath. “Blood doesn’t always guarantee character. It just gives history.”
Preacher gives his usual wisdom here which is well said and concise.
There are a couple references to Nicolai that are hopefully setting up his story well and sum up how life for most women seems to be.
“You ever notice how the complication is rarely the woman herself, but everything around her.” He lifted his glass and finished off the last of his drink. “Family. Work. Exes. Cats.”
I would point to the usual culprit of patriarchy setting up women to barely survive as the main reason for this.
Goose's story was a storyline that had you enraptured and drawn into their world with such ease. Goose/Luke and Presley had a connection from the past and when she is thrown into his world again by his estranged brother, life is about to get interesting. Their story will keep you on the edge of your seat with lies, revelations, chemistry, found family and plenty of MC grit. As Presley's eyes are opened up to a world she never thought she would be a part of, she will realize judgements she made when she was younger were wrong and something she is extremely sorry for. Their story has some lighthearted moments to go with the heavy ones that bring some angst and drama with them. The connection and chemistry between Luke and Presley is strong and radiates off the pages. There is plenty of passion and love to go hand in hand with family drama. The ending to their story is one that will fill your heart with pure joy and happiness.
It was great to have another book in the Satan’s Fury family, and Goose and Presley’s story kept me hooked from start to finish. These two knew each other in high school, but reconnect years later and Presley quickly realizes she had Goose all wrong back then. I really liked watching their relationship develop as they took the time to actually get to know each other and build trust.
The situation with Goose and Davis added a lot of emotion to the story. In many ways it felt like both of them were just looking for love and acceptance, but that whole situation turned into such a complicated mess.
One of the things I always enjoy about this series is the strong sense of family. The brotherhood, loyalty, and the way they show up for each other really stands out. There were emotional moments, drama, some laughs, and of course plenty of steam. I am really curious about Presley’s sister Lila and Nikolai.
This is the 9th book in this phenomenal series, and this is Luke / Goose and Presley’s story. Goose is protective as are the rest of his brothers, and he has an older estranged brother Davis, who has caused a lot of trouble for Goose and his father, while Presley went to school with both brothers, and she has a younger sister, who she will do anything for, When Presley’s sister is in trouble, and needs a large amount of money which neither of them have, circumstances has them in the MC’s path. This is a well written, easy to read, action packed story, with found family, friendships, emotions, loyalty, trust, truths, making choices, betrayal, lies, danger, suspense, intrigue, humour, revelations, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, and unpredictable, addictive page turner I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
I totally enjoyed this one. It had everything I loved in a MC Romance. Action, suspense, drama and romance💖
Goose and Presley knew each since high school. And Presley never gave him the time of day. So when she walks into the Vault on his brothers arm, it sucker punched him. But he was happy for his brother... Until he finds out what is really going on.
Presley got involved with Davis because her sister got into some trouble. Now she is in a mess and doing everything she can to get herself and her sister out of it.
This is how she reconnected with Goose, Luke. Now sexy hot biker, totally not what she thought of him... was she wrong to judge a book by its cover💖
The story was awesome. I totally got hooked from the start to end and couldn't wait to see where it was going. Like I said had everything I loved in a MC Romance. Definitely going to read the previous books💖
It’s so great to be back with the boys in Fury! This is Goose and Presley’s story and it will keep you riveted! Presley has things going on with her sister and Goose has things going on with his brother and none of it is good. These two knew each other in high school and get reacquainted through all this. Presley got to know him and realized she misjudged him so long ago. It was great to see the chemistry between these two as it was so strong. I liked how they took things slow and earned each other’s trust. So much going on in here with lies, deception, betrayal, found family, plenty of steam, and some laughs and sad moments. This was such a fantastic story that I couldn’t put down! I absolutely love the family aspect in these stories! Very enjoyable and I highly recommend! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book
Presley was friends with Goose (Luke) in their school days. She finds herself back in Goose's MC life when her sister Lila Kate, gets into big trouble with Davis. Davis is Goose's estranged brother. Davis is now desperate to get back in Goose's life for nefarious means. Will he be able to keep Goose in the dark about his real intentions, or will Goose see through him? One keeps turning the pages with all the twists and turns that you don't see coming. Will Goose and Presley ever get their HEA? I received an arc for my honest voluntary review for NN Book Blog. You will love this book if you enjoy a dark MC romance with plenty of twists and turns that you don't see coming. However, this book may not be for everyone. Therefore, please heed the author's trigger warnings before reading or purchasing this book.
4 1/2 stars for me. This story had twists and hints of things to come. I enjoyed the action and Presley and Goose's connection, despite all that led up to it. Though the relationship progressed quickly between them, they tried to take it slow and build trust with each other. Presley was so loyal to her sister and was willing to give up things that were dear to her heart to help out, something I admired her for. She loved her job and was so kind to even those she didn't really know but wanted to help. Goose had a big heart that he tried to keep hidden, but family (both blood and brotherhood) meant everything to him. Enjoyed this story and, liked I said before, the hints that hopefully will lead to something.
I received a copy through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This is the story of Goose and Pressley. These two have known each other since they were teens in high school. Goose is a member of the Satan's Fury MC Little Rock and he owns a strip club. Pressley is a good girl who owns a hair salon. When her sister is out be delivering a package for a bar patron to earn money for college she ends up beaten, the package stolen and she now is on the hook for 100K. Of course, Pressley is going to step in and help her out which has her pretending to be Goose's brother girlfriend. Well, I know you are confused now, but I promise you won't be if you read the book. There is so much going on in this book that you will not be able to put it down. I loved every single second of this book.
I really loved stepping back into the world of Goose. This time, it focuses on Goose and Presley, and I found their story so engaging. Even though they knew each other in high school, they were never close, so I enjoyed how their paths crossed again through Presley’s situation with her sister.
What stood out to me was the complicated relationship between Goose and his brother—it added a lot of emotional depth to the story. I felt for Goose and his hope for a better bond despite everything that’s happened between them.
Once the truth comes out, I loved seeing Goose and Presley finally get the chance to explore their feelings. Their chemistry was incredible and really made the story for me. Overall, I’d definitely rate this as a five-star read.
This is book #9 of The Satan's Fury Mc Little Rock Series and omg what another fantastic book by L.Wilder .we have Goose's aka Luke's story and it doesn't disappoint us readers. Goose and his brother Davis don't have anything to do with each other ,but when Davis shows back up on town will he cause trouble for the Satan's Fury Mc? Presley is now stuck pretending to be Davis girlfriend because her sister owes him money, but when things happen can Goose help her out and keep her safe? I absolutely loved this book and couldn't put it down and loved Luke and Presley . Their chemistry was off the charts . the storyline was compelling and action packed and chemistry and captivating and so much more. another Fantastic story.
Holy moly this book was a thrilling roller coaster ride and I didn't want it to end!!! I absolutely love the Stance Fury MC serious and recommend reading all L. Wilder’s MC books!! This book is a dark MC romance filled with suspense, mystery, drama, anyway and spice. I loved the shouldn't it was original, was written beautifully and had me turning pages to see what would happen next. I thought the characters were colored with a little history between them. They had an undeniable and intense chemistry. I laughed, my heart broke for the characters and I almost threw my kindle a few times. I am obsessed with this stupid and enjoyed this book from beginning to end. I can't wait for what comes next in this series!!!-by Brooke
L. Wilder gives us another wonderful story featuring Goose of the Satan’s Fury and Presley. These two are perfect for each other and so deserve their happily ever after as their time together is filled with heartache and trouble that the Club has to deal with. It was rewarding watching Goose become serious about his future and want to settle down. Presley was just what he needed to realize what was missing in his life. I loved everything about this book which features a great plot, unbreakable bonds, friendship, comradery and alpha bikers who will do anything for each other and those they love and care about. I am looking forward to what is next!
I love a story with characters that have a history, not necessarily a second chance, but interactions and coming from the same place. That’s what we get with Presley and Goose, the same school, Goose noticing her from afar while she had her mind set on different things. Presley is lovable and strong, and the lengths she goes to so that she can help her sister are admirable, but those decisions don’t go as smoothly as she’d like. Goose is a protector, and I felt for him, some things being out of his control. I love the connection and sparks between Goose and Presley, how that protective side comes out, and the build up of their relationship as the story progresses. The pages turned easily, I was kept pulled in and involved, the bits of danger, the twists and turns, and the visits with the characters we’ve loved before. I’m looking forward to what’s to come!
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Goose and Presley knew each other when they were younger. Little did she know, he had a crush on her even though she acted like he and everyone else were beneath her. But sometimes not everything as they seem. Sometimes we do think and act certain ways to protect ourselves.
Goose sees her again when she’s with his brother. As in dating his brother. He KNOWS he wouldn’t ’go there’ with someone his brother is seeing. But again, looks can be deceiving. In fact, she could be deceiving him…. Hmmm…. The chemistry is off the charts so you know it’s going to be happily ever after, but how, oh how, do we get there?!?! I enjoyed this one and I REALLY hope her sister gets with a certain guy…
GOOSE SATANS FURY MC Little Rock by L. Wilder 5 stars Goose(Luke) / Pressley (Pres)
Blood family is not always the true family. Helping your family—siblings--isn't always the smart move. "For both, Luke and Pressly, the latter was anything but. His brother had always resented Luke even though he kept trying to change things.
As for Presley, her sis was always getting trouble. Nothing too serious like Luke's kin. But this time it's a doozy--add Davis (Luke's brother by blood) and there is real trouble.
Will the good guys out maneuver their siblings before it is too late?
Another great story in the Satan's Fury MC series. It has family drama, betrayal, secrets, and a found family that is always at your back.
This book was a page turner with a story that kept my interest from the very beginning. Goose and Presley have known each other since high school, but have never been friends. When Presley's younger sister finds herself in trouble again, Presley is there to rescue her and keep her safe, but the sacrifice she has to make could be too large of a price.
I love the Satan's Fury MC series and Goose is a great story that pulled me in from the beginning right through to the end. It was a hard read to put down and I can't wait for more in the series.
As someone who has loved the previous books in this series, I went into this installment with excitement, and it delivered and did not disappoint! The story builds smoothly on what came before, with characters who feel more developed and a world that continues to grow in interesting ways. The pacing is strong, balancing character moments with plot progression, and it kept me engaged throughout. Overall, this was a satisfying continuation of this series and a rewarding read for longtime fans. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Wilder brings a gut wrenching story that proves true family isn’t always better when it’s blood, and to also never judge a book by its cover. Goose and Presley have known each other a long time, but never ran in the same circles. Now bad decisions by others, or is it fate, have brought them together in the most unconventional way. This story is full of non-stop action, betrayal, loyalty, and a gritty rawness that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Plus a sneak peak at what story may be next ;)
I was so excited to finally have Goose's book! His character cracks me up and his story did not disappoint, AT ALL. Luke, a.k.a. Goose, knew Presley in high school but they did not run in the same circles. They reconnect when his brother Davis pulls some shady stuff and the chemistry between her and Luke is off the charts. So much happens in their story that has you turning the pages, unable to put the book down, yet not wanting it to end at the same time. L Wilder had certainly done it again by giving us another amazing book to read.
Okay....I really wanted to love this book. I can say it's complicated. It's sad due to Goose dealing with his brother and what happens. But what feel short was I recall Goose having a certain personality in every other book. In this book, that was not the energy. I almost felt we were reading about someone else at times. I don't feel there is much build up for Presley and Goose Yes they met in High school but never really interacted back then. I honestly hope there's a future book for her sister Lila Kate and Nikolai.

And the club playboy has fallen! Goose finally meets the woman who steals his heart and she is a girl from his past. Unfortunately before Goose aka Luke and Presley can get their HEA they have to deal with Goose’s criminal brother trying to swindle both Presley and the Satan’s Fury MC. Things get even more dangerous before when another MC gets involved and the Fury club the Vault gets hit but as always Satan’s Fury gets theirs and protects their own in this thrilling addition to the series.
I have been waiting for Goose‘s book and it was well worth the wait! Presley was absolutely the perfect match for Goose. I loved everything about her. She had so much spunk. This one had a lot of emotional conflict because of Goose‘s relationship with his brother and I found myself not being able to turn the pages fast enough and yet at the same time wanting to slow down to make the story last. The chemistry between Presley and goose was off the charts Definitely a five star read for me.
