I have not read completely through this book yet, but I have found it to be an indispensable reference at my side when I am working with Photoshop. I will most certainly upgrade as well, when I can afford Photoshop CS3.

Technical / theoretical and comprehensive guide to photoshop. Not a cookbook approach. Best used in combination with a more practical guide.
