First, I have heard Carlfred Broderick speak, and was impressed with his wisdom and humor. Second, I value the book and its helpfulness for marital couples. The author discusses emotional space, communication, vicious cycles, resentment, depression, intimacy, fidelity, remarriage, crises and a guide to marital counselors. This book can help couples confront problems in their marriages and maintain loving relationships!
