I received an Arc of this book. All opinions are my own.

I've been excited to read this book since I read the first book a few months ago and it definitely lived up to my excitement. We are joined again with Tamora now as the queen of dragons, back fighting for everyone around her. I loved getting to see the characters from the first book again and how there stories expanded across a new adventure. I will definitely be reading more of Tea's books.

What a ending to a duet.
Spoilers ahead if you haven't read the first book.

Tamora is still getting used to the fact that she's Dragon Queen. Dragons are still getting used to being able to shift back and forth to their human form.
There's a lot that's changed since the death of Parantheo's. Many found it to be good changes. Others still set in old ways.

Than strange murders and attacks happens. That is until one victim survives and can tell a bit about what happened. Just enough to throw them all for a huge surprise no one expected.
.
Mix in the tension between her and Sheamus. Both hardheaded characters, but once they finally get some of their angre out of their systems...there's an understanding. 😅
But don't get it twisted, regardless of they're fighting or not....don't touch either one of them or you'll get the end of their sword. Or meet the Alpha wolf.

I enjoyed this and seeing how Tamora handles life as a Queen.
News flash she honestly hates it. But she's the best anyone could ask for in my opinion.
She doesn't stand down for anyone and stands up for those who are unable to do so themselves.
She's simply badass.

Thank you Tea for the arc. 🫶🏻

I received an ARC of this book. All opinions are my own.

Dragonthrone is the 2nd book in Tea's Wings & Fangs duology. Tamora is now Queen of Dragons & learning how to navigate her new surroundings. She's not your typical queen & that's why I like her so much, she's smart, stubborn as hell, definitely not a "lady" & absolutely deadly. This story weaves together the various supernatural factions which we met in the 1st book, Dragonslayer, with the added politics of being queen. I found the pace really good & it flowed very well. I liked how this one was set mainly at Dragon Keep, how we got to see more of the elves & the darklings. I had a few chuckles as I read this, especially at all the interruptions. I'm sure when you read this you'll know what I mean.

This book was a great read, and I honestly had such a good time reading it. Seeing Tamora trying to handle everything that comes with being Queen of Dragons while still being her stubborn, fierce self made this an exciting adventure. I loved being back with these characters again, and the mix of dragons, politics, mystery, and supernatural creatures kept me hooked.
This is the second book in the duology, and the fifth book I've read by Tea Spangsberg. She really has a way of creating worlds and characters that are easy to get lost in.

Thank you so much Tea for letting me be a part of your team.🌺❤️

I received an ARC of this book, all opinions are my own.

Dragonthrone, the second book in the Wings and Fangs duology, picks up six month after the major battle against the enemy known as the Dragon Master. The heroine, Tamora, now crowned Queen of Dragons, is still learning to navigate her new role; a responsibility that proves far from easy.
When a tortured dragon appears, it sparks a hunt for the attacker, forcing the dragons, vampires and elves to work together.

The book is fast paced, easy to read, and written in precise, accessible prose. As an adventure-driven fantasy, it works well and moves quickly. However, I found the relationship between Tamora and the alpha Sheamus lacking a bit of depth. Their reunion felt rushed, and I would have loved to see more build-up and yearning between them.

There is also a crime-mystery element woven into the plot, as much of the story focuses on the detective-style investigation to uncover the culprit. At times, this leads to some repetition, slightly slowing the momentum.

Overall, Dragonthrone is an engaging and enjoyable continuation, though I wished for stronger emotional development and a bit more nuance in the romantic arc.

Tea is my favorite fantasy author. The worlds she creates are wonderful.

Tamora is back, carving her way into her father's throne.

The overwhelming need to take care of everyone around her, from her own Dragons to the vampires, forces our dear girl to do everything she can to ensure everyone's survival. But not, could she use some sleep.

Relationships are forged. Enemies made. And if anyone touches Sheamus, the world will burn.
