“You’re being tormented? In that case, let me be the one to adore you!!”
I reincarnated as Cynthia, a wicked noblewoman from a dating sim, and now the heroine is trying to steal my fiancé. If she wants him, I’m happy to cut ties and find someone new! Oh my, perhaps the yandere character named Siraiya (the third son of a duke), who’s known for being an evil nobleman himself, would be a better match? Yes, he’s exactly what I’m looking for!
“You’re the one I want to marry!”
Will the villainess’s love save the villainous nobleman? Find out in this reverse Cinderella tale!
This is one of the most delightfully cheesy books I've read. Sure, the author struggles a bit with what "yandere" means, but she also does a great job with the reborn-in-an-otome-game trope and Siraiya is adorable.
Is this the greatest story to be written? Not really. Is it deep and thought provoking and deal with alot of social issues? Not even close.
Is this a sweet and cute story about an awkward pair of students finding love? Yes it is.
I'm not very good at writing these reviews. But my first thought was that this story was simple and enjoyable all throughout. Our main character is just a girl who wants a devoted husband. Realizing her current fiance is a indecisive and lazy one shes happy to end the engagement. Now her main problem is finding a new fiance, one who will devote themselves to being her husband
Honestly the main character isn't all that much to cheer for. She's not all that unique or outstanding but what caused me to continue reading this story was the male lead.
He's absolutely adorable and it's fun to see the roles reverse when it comes to who romance who.
Honestly I wouldn't recommend this to those who want a deeper story, this is just the simplest of stories with not much stakes in it. Still if you just want a easy and relaxing romance I would recommend this one.
It's a misleading title and premise. There are no yandere villains to be seen. The world building is paper thin. I was very dissapointed by the book. The author doesn't understand what yandere even means. The Male Lead is a golden retriever boyfriend. There was no obsessive yandere traits anywhere. The heroine's standards are in hell if she thinks a good boyfriend is a yandere.
It's fine for a simple low effort romance filled with cliches, but I don't reccomend it. There are better stories with nearly the same premise.
Simple, low stakes, pretty low drama. Simple romance story. The ones creating drama are kinda stupid and caricature-like, but hey, it's an otome game reincarnation story.
I gave it 3 stars GR rating because it's ridiculously hard to find "they spent time together and developed feelings" kinds of books that do not speed-run the romance. It's still an otome game reincarnation story, though.
The story is fully completed in this single volume. No need to pick up 2nd volume - it feels wildly unncesary.
The phrase "smooth like butter" comes to mind after reading this one. Nothing fancy or off the standard formula, just a simple read with good feels.
I don't think there were really any true yandere elements in this story but then again the MC was trying to save him before going nuts so maybe it's a little bait and switch?
The story feels complete as is and I have zero interest in the sequel.
I love how this character could remember all the details of the game to avoid failure and was able to find real happiness. The new adventures and situations she was able to create on her own, to move outside the structures of the game, were very interesting. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next volume!
Maybe he was in the original route, but that really doesn’t matter as that’s not a part of the storyline here. I feel like the title is rather deceitful in that regard. He’s neither a Yandere nor a villain.
Nevertheless, I’m still reading on! This is an incredibly straightforward (a little too straightforward at times), cliche romance. There’s nothing wrong with that, and it does have its cute moments.
This is a fairly cute cheesy otome game-based romantic fantasy, although it started to get worse about two-thirds of the way through. There's also a few discrepancies in the plot I noticed, so I don't think the author was keeping track of all of her plot points. But still, it's a fluffy, fast read.
I absolutely love this book! I am adding it to my list of books to read again and again. These are the kind of books that I can read after a stressful day.
Fun quick light novel about one of those reincarnating into your favorite video game as a side character things that manages to thread the needle of "too genre aware" with aww romance game. This time we get the character as a vilainness, and she decides to go after the yandere character after her default fiancee kind of turns out to be a pathetic little dweeb.
I love how fast-paced yet detailed this book is. The author doesn't input unimportant and boring descriptions, and the story isn't dragged too long too.
The characters are also written well, I can grasp each of their personalities really well to the point the annoying ones really annoyed me. 😂
The ending is kinda boring for me (the one before the side story), but that doesn't really bother me.
