"Kitten & Koi" is a very cute book about friendship. Kitten wants Koi to come out of the water to play, but Koi explains that she cannot come out of the water because she needs the water to breathe. Kitten learns some other facts about fish from Koi while the two try to figure out how to have fun together. Koi suggests that Kitten should try to come into the water, but Kitten isn't so sure. Kitten accidently ends up in the water and decides that the water is no fun. The two friends figure out how to have fun together despite their differences. The pictures are very pretty and go well with the story. This story has a moral at the end, which is nice to see to teach kids a little lesson. The book is great for teaching kids about friendship with others who may be different.

A cute book that was definitely more of an attraction since of the adorable cover and the intriguing title that is given it.

Kitten & Koi is a tale of two very different animals that meet each other and become friends by sharing more about their respective worlds while learning to compromise as well as take steps to try something new even when it isn't quite comfortable. As a result the book would make for a nice little read for children on how they also can make friends with others who may not be remotely too much the same as them.

Anyway as a result I chose to check out other books within the series while they all seem to have for their description that they are books about friendship so it does seem a bit of a formulaic series although I cannot vouch for that as I have only read this one particular book.

Secondly although the illustrations are adorable, they are clearly AI although of a much better quality than one normally finds.

All in all it was cute but rather also a dime a dozen, especially if the rest of the series is pretty much the same story but with differing characters.

Fun

Another lovely read with moral. Great little book for the youngsters to learn it doesn't matter what you are, you can have all sorts of lovely friends. Just as I have always had in my life. 😊
