The star rating for this is so high because the story is so good. Are there some minor miscommunication tropes? Yes. Did I absolutely hate them? Also yes. But for the most part it was so exciting because we were in the dark with the whole amnesia thing. We didn’t know who he was and got to find out with him. The mystery was so well done.
This follows Lena a woman on the run from a dangerous mob boss who put a hit on her. Aleksandr is left for dead outside her remote cabin in the Montana mountains during a blizzard. When he wakes up he can’t remember who he is. And the story begins!!
The Forgotten Pakhan is the fourth book in the Sins of Bratva Series. A full-length standalone romance with no cheating or cliffhanger. A dark, emotionally intense Bratva romance featuring amnesia, forced proximity, possessive hero, secret pregnancy, and enemies-to-lovers tension. No cliffhanger. HEA guaranteed. The stories are interconnected with individuals from the previous books making appearance and contributing to the story. Another great addition to the series. A brilliantly crafted story with complex individuals and a twisty storyline that captures the reader attention from the beginning and keeps you hooked and turning the pages. An unputdownable and absorbing addictive read.

Because of that action on her family's part he put out a hit on her for her for that debt. Someone in Aleksandr in his close circles as betrayed him and is trying to take him out. He shot him and left him in the snow to bleed to death. On the night in question Lena/Maya was checking on her property and she saw a man laying out in the snow shot and badly wounded and near death. Sasha and Maya's story was really excellent. This author has really improved dramatically in her writing and has become an author I look for. It was a completely different plot that had me interested from the first page. I really can't say that about so many books I have started and stopped in 2026 from this genre, so this was a great reprieve from read and repeat.
Lena and Alexander's story has all the suspense, mystery and attraction as the author carefully extracts each layer of the plot, taking the reader on a journey that is filled with more questions, than answers. Their love story that begins while cohabitating in Lena's cabin, deep in the Montana forest is very sexy and sensual. While the snow storms come and go their attraction turns into a three alarm fire that sizzles on the pages.
The story is very well executed with two characters who I grew to love, even bad boy Alexander as they get closer to the truth of who he is and who Lena is. The only thing I disliked was the initial "hit" put on a young woman who had nothing to do with her Uncle or parents involvement in stealing from Alexander's Bratva.
The crux of the story once they know their real identities continues at a riveting pace as they find the persons behind the assassination attempt of Alexander. The were few secondary characters, but each had an important part in the story.
Great book, with great characters. I was sorry to see it end!
The Forgotten Pakhan is a delicious Bratva romance and part of the author’s Sins of the Bratva. FMC Maya has been in hiding in the wilds of Montana for three years after fleeing the mess her family had made stealing from the Bratva. Lena Orlova was gone, only Maya remained. Then the night she is scouting her properties perimeter just as a winter storm is blowing in she finds a man lying in a pool of blood. With a head wound and a bullet in his shoulder she manages to get him inside her cabin and tend the wounds. Upon waking though he can’t remember who he is or why he is there. The chemistry between the two begins to grow hot as the man she calls Sasha begins to heal and she wonders how much longer until memories return. Maya had seen the tattoo on his back but couldn’t remember where or its significance. When his memories do come back is when the tension reaches level ten and revelations become painful. Excellent writing, Bratva dynamics, danger, twists, surprises, emotion, spice, and well crafted characters kept the story vibrant and immersive which provided a strong and engaging read not to be missed!.

Part of the "Sins of the Bratva" series. Lena has been on the run for three years - hiding out in a remote cabin, living like a hermit. Her uncle and father had crossed the wrong man and a contract had been put out on her life. If Aleksandr Romanov ever found her, her life would be over. One stormy night, while doing a perimeter check, she sees a dark shape in the snow. It turns out to be a man, badly wounded and near death. Lena drags him back to the cabin and saves his life and mentally names him "Sasha". When he finally regains consciousness, Sasha has no idea who he is or how he got there. He and Lena grow closer, but when his memory flashes start coming more and more - will it spell the end of their romance?
He ordered her death for her family's betrayal and now she is alone in the wilderness of Montana surviving, everything comes to a head when she spots a body lying in the snow and has to make a tough decision. Aleksandr has been betrayed by someone he trusts and is at the mercy of Lena who comes to his aide. Living in close proximity as he heals brings out feelings neither can deny but when his memory comes back and he realizes who Lena truly is will their newfound relationship end. This thrilling story kept me glued to the pages and caught up in the action.

Leno is in hiding in the mountains covered in deep snow. She’s been hiding for three years.
Aleksandr is the Pakan until some one betrayed him. He lost his memory didn’t know who he was.
Lena brought Aleksandr in from the snow before he would die. She nursed his wounds & himself back to life. They live in a bubble that at some point has the burst. The truth comes out.
Betrayal, love, feelings, obsession and possession.
Loved this book, another fab written book from Ariana.

This was a different type of Mafia story with the main male character losing his memory after being shot and is rescued by a beautiful girl who he had taken a hit out on. He eventually recovers his memory and realizes that the girl he’s fallen for has a kill order signed by his hand. They eventually have to work things through of course. One might have thought this story could get boring but it doesn’t because of a few surprise plot twists. For me the only down side was the almost clipped ending but even that wasn’t too terrible. Overall a good read that I’d be willing to re-read in the future at some point.
The Forgotten Pakham is a complex Bratva romance between Maya/Lena who flees to rural Montana after her family steals from the Bratva, and Sasha/Aleksandr, the Bratva's Pakham who is found shot and bleeding close to her cabin. She takes the stranger into her cabin, realizes he has amnesia, treats his wounds, and names him Sasha. They develop a steamy relationship until he remembers he is Aleksandr and has signed a hit on her. This well written book is a different type of Bratva read which has great characters, unexpected plot twists, betrayal, strong emotions, a secret, and lots of sizzling romance.

I’m blown away. Lena ran. Changed everything about her life, including her name. Just so she was safe and hidden away from Alek. But one day she found him hurt. He didn’t remember her, sure didn’t remind him. She took care of him. And they had a connection. But when his memory came finding back, he remembered the contract on her. He took her back to good home and held her captive. I did not see that coming. Bow blew me away. This story was intense and chaotic. I was on the edge of my seat with this one. It was so good. I loved the ending.
'Author’s Note: A dark, emotionally intense Bratva romance featuring amnesia, forced proximity, possessive hero, secret pregnancy, and enemies-to-lovers tension. No cliffhanger. HEA guaranteed.'
The characters were very complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

Lena ran from Aleksandr when he ordered her death for betrayal, she set up a life for herself away from everything of her past only for her to find Aleksandr out in the snow, injured and not remembering who he is or more importantly who she is. But as she helps him gain back strength their desire sizzle between them his memories return. Well written the story is suspense filled desires, steamy scenes, captive, and more.
This is part of Cooper's Sins of the Bratva series. A great addition to the series that can be read as a standalone. An intense and dark romance with great twists and turns that are sure to captivate. A riveting storyline that flows wonderfully and full of danger, sizzle and emotion. I loved this addition and I can't wait for more!

I have been waiting on this book. It did not disappoint. It was a romantic book with mystery and so much more. I love that he continued to want to protect her and he couldn’t help but fall in love with her. I liked his best friend too. Family is so important. I was able to read this book free and highly recommend it. Actually all the Sins of the Bratva are recommended. Enjoy.
Wow, this book is excellent! It’s been a long time since I’ve found a book with such a captivating plot, such well-developed characters, such real chemistry between the two main characters, and such a beautifully told story.
I couldn’t stop reading this book. It’s the kind of book you never want to finish, and even after you do, you keep thinking about it for hours afterward.
I will definitely reread it whenever I find myself in a reading slump again. I recommend it 100%.
- útěk minulosti - skrývání v horách - zmrzlý, postřelený na jejím pozemku - amnesie - měsíc společného času bez minulosti - návrat vzpomínek - pakhan co nařídil její smrt za hříchy její rodiny - utíká před ním ale nevědomky spolu strávili měsíc a zamilovali se - nečekané těhotenství - návrat do města, zpět srovnat hiearchii mafie
Lena/Maya is hiding away when she rescues a man from the snow. Aleksandr/Sasha is a missing Pakhan who can't remember from before he was found, though memories start to trickle back slowly. A steamy read with secrets, age gap, a surprise pregnancy, and danger and mafia drama too.

This book should've introduced the villain much earlier because it seemed like an afterthought. All of a sudden, at a critical part, the plot just skipped six months ahead and sort of told the story in flashbacks. Not a horrible book, but certainly not great. Read it if you have the time, but no need to put it on a waiting list.
A hit is placed on Lena and her family and when an injured Aleksandr appears at her doorstep a shift occurs. He can't remember who is is but they grow to love each which complicates the entire plot. I absolutely loved it, especially as everything unravels.

The MMC & FMC were the same voice. No distinction btwn the 2. This author only writes with 1 point of view. This is like the 3rd book I've read of hers (and last) and they are all the same. The main characters both male and female think the same, talk the same which makes everything fake and unbelievable. Never could get into it. DNF
So Good, Loved it!! Loved reading The Forgotten Pakhan, this book was so good it was hard to put down with so many twist-n-turns and action packed too. The chemistry between Lena and Aleksandr was steamy HOT and loved their story!!
The Forgotten Pakhan is Aleksandr and Lena's intense, dark, dramatic story. It's such an emotionally charged story and i felt all the pain, agony, fear, everything these characters felt, I felt. Engaging, suspenseful and full of surprises, The Forgotten Pakhan is a must read!
This story was good I almost gave 4 stars because the ending was hurried. I thought there was a cliffhanger. Then the last chapters finally tied the book together.
Aleksandr is a sexy Pakhan. Lena hides from her past in Montana. She finds Aleksandr hurt and she takes care of him. He doesn’t remember her and she wants to keep it that way. But when his men coming calling he remembers her. The chemistry between them is so amazing. Great book.
A hit taken out, Lina runs and hides out, unfortunately she hears gun shots and fins a man shot and has memory loss, only his the man who put the hit on her she calls him Shasa, but his Alix.........
The book was good until the end. A six month time jump with no info beforehand. Went from one scene they wasn’t finished to six months later. Definitely rushed the ending. We couldn’t add some more chapters? Really??
