I thought that the book was very clever. I tried keeping track of my favourite words, but there were just too many. I also liked the structure of the entries: an explanation of how the word was developed, the definition of the word, and a usage example. And parts of books I usually just gloss over such as the colophon and acknowledgment were worth reading, as was the backstory. This book was entertaining, informative and insightful; well worth reading. Thank you to Edelweiss and Simon & Schuster for the digital review copy.
