Turning Hurt into Joy by Allowing Love to Find You
“Love’s Call” is the story of two individuals who were in previous relationships with others that didn't turn out so well. Both are emotionally scarred and worried that trying it again may result in the same disaster. Lia agrees to go on a cruise with her friend to appease her. Kyle is going on the same cruise because his playboy friends told him he had to go to get over his cheating ex-wife.
I really enjoyed this novel. It was well written. I loved the plot, the characters, and all the back stories. I was for Lia and Kyle from the beginning and I was well pleased with the ending. A few grammatical errors but they did not diminish the story line. Overall a great read! I will go back and read the other two prequel stories. Jala Summers, keep up the great work!
I really enjoyed this story, which features two people who have been hurt in the past and aren't interested in playing games. Kyle and Liana are thoughtful people who I liked reading about. They come with a collection of friends, exes, and relatives who mostly avoid being stock characters.
The cover of this book is misleading; it's definitely hot, but has more substance than one might think. If you like romances featuring adults who behave like adults, I suggest giving this one a try.
This book drew me in from the beginning and held my attention until the end. Lia was stubborn, but I understood her reasons for being that way (been there, done that) I felt like I was on that cruise with them, and now I'm definitely talking my husband into going on one. I'm so glad Lia and Kyle found happiness in the end.
This was such a sweet romance but a bit frustrating at times. The heroine of this story just made you want to just shake her at times. The hero of the story was everything you want in your man.I loved the humor it was just spot on,in just the right moments. This was definitely a worthy read.
Great book story flowed great. Although I wanted to slap Lia a couple of times, but when love calls you better answer, she almost missed her man over some baggage she was holding onto. Finished this book in a couple of hours great read.
This book was good but kind of predictable. I would of definitely recommend it to others. I kinda hope there's a part two so I can see what happens in their marriages.
Opening your heart to let someone new in without the baggage from your past is hard and it was shown realistically through this book. I really loved this book.
