At 30 years old, Rocco Accardi is known for a lot of things-his temper, his recklessness, his complete disregard for consequences. As the future underboss of Sicily's most feared family, he was never meant to feel anything. Until her.
Alessia Russo, 26, Palermo's top real estate agent, has spent the past three years keeping things strictly professional. Which is hard to do when your most dangerous client spends every meeting flirting like it's a sport-and you've had a crush on him since day one.
He's chaos. She's control.
Their relationship was never meant to cross the line. But one wrong step-and everything spirals. Rocco doesn't know how to love. But he knows how to destroy.
And once he decides she's his, he'll burn the city before he lets her go.
Rocco is the second installment in the Accardi Series, and if you’re a fan of dark mafia romance, this book has all the hallmarks of a high-stakes, emotional page-turner. It’s intense, tense, and fast-paced, packed with action and romantic conflict that keeps you hooked from start to finish.
Set seven years later, we get to see more of the Accardi family—bigger and stronger than ever. The story is full of twists and turns, many of which I definitely didn’t see coming. And most importantly, we finally get Rocco’s love story as he falls for real estate agent Alessia Russo.
This book was so good. There’s one scene where they have to leave in the middle of the night, and it genuinely felt like I was there with them—like I was watching a movie. The emotions, the dialogue, the inner monologues—everything was perfectly woven together! .
Beyond the family dynamics and Rocco and Alessia’s romance, one of my favorite parts of the book was Marina and Alessia’s relationship. Their bond was so pure that I cried every time they shared a moment. My heart absolutely hurt for baby Rina, and I loved how her story ultimately turned out.
I also really enjoyed getting both Rocco’s and Alessia’s POVs, and the additional POVs from other characters were a great bonus that added even more depth to the story.
And that epilogue? Everything I hoped for.
I love this book so much, and I honestly cannot wait to read the next one.
Highly Recommended! Go to wattpad and chrck the story!
The Accardi men… let me tell you. They do things to my mind, body and soul.
The family. The loyalty. The brotherhood. It’s unlike anything. They all have their role and it’s just fucking right.
The heartache this book carried pulled all the right strings. It was beautifully painful. It broke and healed parts of me at the same time.
Is it crazy? Yes. Is it unhinged? Also yes. Do I care? Absolutely not.
I’ll forever be a Millie & Costa girlie and the povs we got from them in Rocco’s book!!!! Ugh! I ate that shit up, it was all so perfectly written. Especially the being not seen, the postpartum,… all of it.
Anyway, this is Rocco’s book and he’s everything and more. I knew from Costa’s book that the silent tortured soul would be the one to crush me and he fucking did.
The way he pushed Alessia away just because he simply couldn’t handle all these feelings! I GASPEDDD! The moment he realized he was getting these feelings — I simply died.
He’s hot as hell and unhinged as fuck yet I would run away with him every single time. No questions asked. BYE.
