Not a bad sequel. Very much a slow burn feel to the story. More character driven at times. Surprising revelations dropped regarding one of the characters, liked the seals aspect, but it seemed to be more of a backburner issue than the original driving plot mentioned in synopsis. Would have liked more of the tension to be because of the danger fixing the seals. Don’t think I’ll be moving on with the series. Just not quite what I was hoping for.

good premiss zero emotion
This book reads very analytical. There is no emotion at all in it. I finished book 1 hoping book 2 would be better but it doesn’t.
This book needs an editor that helps the author add emotions to it. It has the promise to be a great book if it didn’t read like it does.
