Ridge lost his keys and found his new daddy. I dash down the hall to toss the trash out, so the apartment I’m cat-sitting won’t smell like my dinner. Now I’m barefoot in the hallway wearing my dinosaur pajamas, my keys somewhere at the bottom of the trash chute, and my phone locked inside. The cats have food, water, and litter. I have nothing. When the door across the hall opens and the hottest daddy-type I’ve ever seen comes walking out, my cheeks burn. I want to blend into the wall and disappear. Why couldn’t I at least be wearing my good ass jeans. Five minutes later, I’m curled up under a blanket in his apartment while he calmly calls building maintenance and promises we’ll get my keys back. And when he looks at me like I’m something precious instead of ridiculous, I start to wonder if losing my keys might be the luckiest mistake I’ve ever made. Ridge’s Lost Keys is a sweet age play romance featuring a little who loses his keys and finds his new daddy, the daddy who stumbles upon the little of his dreams, two adorable cats turned matchmakers, snuggles, cuddles, stuffies, footie jams, a memorable day at Chained, new beginnings, some old friends, true love, and a guaranteed happily ever after. If you like your romances on the Hallmark side but a bit kinkier, check out Ridge’s Lost Keys by USA Today Bestselling Author Della Cain and her bestie and frequent partner in crime, Kaytea Kat.
When Ridge, who is cat sitting, decides to use the apartment building trash chute he accidentally also drops the apartment keys in and as a result finds his daddy. Of course nothing about the situation is ideal and there is nothing instantly romantic but we, as readers, know that Ridge has found the daddy he needs and yearns for. We also know that Memphis has found the little he has been yearning for, it's just going to take them both a little time and some help from meddling, but well-meaning, mutual friends to take those first steps!
It isn't easy for either party in a daddy-little dynamic to know when the most appropriate time to make the first move, to suggest the dynamic might be their fit, should be. fortunately both Memphis and Ridge are members of the same club so that takes away some of the uncertainty. They get along well, they fit as a potential couple, it is simply, possibly, the Ridge is holding back on the truth, not sure how it will be taken when Memphis discovers he has chosen to turn his back on family money...
As always this is an adorable story, a great big hug in a book, a story with plenty of warm moments, lots of love and affection and a charming HEA. There is everything to love in this series and it continues with great strength!

Ridge locks himself out of the flat while wearing dinosaur pyjamas, his keys lost down the trash chute. Mortified, he’s rescued by Memphis, the handsome neighbour who takes him in, calls for help, and treats him with unexpected gentleness — leaving Ridge wondering if this embarrassing mishap might actually be the start of something lucky.
I enjoyed this sweet, low‑angst story, especially the gentle connection that grows between Ridge and Memphis. Their relationship has an easy charm, and I liked how they worked together to find practical compromises for living together — it made their dynamic feel grounded and supportive. That said, I would have loved a bit more emotional depth. The story is warm and pleasant, but it doesn’t dive as deeply into feelings as I hoped it would. Still, it’s an easy, enjoyable read with a cute pairing and a satisfying ending. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.
Ridge doesn't want to walk the path his parents want him to go. So he steps away from them and his trust fund only having contact with his brother and having all sorts of jobs. One of them is being a cat sitter, which brings him in contact with Memphis. Because Ridge drops the keys of the house in the trash. That is one of those things I am afraid of what will happen one day. But to Ridge it happens and Memphis helps him and taking him inside and taking care of him. How cool is that blanket? Almost as cool as the second blanket.
Both of them are into a some kind of special play, both in the opposite role. Stupid of them not to give the other their contact information, but luckily their friends bring them together again.
Beside this there is a story about trust, especially from Ridge his side, which I can imagine. Lovely to see them getting closer and closer.
If you are into these kind of reads, this is certainly a book for you.
"Maybe losing my keys wasn’t the worst thing after all."
This is book 18 in the Found By Daddy series by Della Cain and Kaytea Kat. These two write some really cute, sweet, daddy stories together. I've read 11 in the series so far so when I saw this on Booksprout it was an immediate grab for me. I love these books.
Found family at Chained is the best kind of family a little can have and Ms. Lily plans the best events.
Daddy/little, dino jammies and bare feet, be sure to hang onto those keys, a Minky blanket, a trust fund with conditions, a pushy family trying to plan this little's life, a new daddy in need of a little, 2 sneaky friends
Ridge is just a little bit lost when he realizes that not only did he lose his keys down the trash chute but his phone was inside. Memphis takes control when he realizes that Ridge is a little lost on what to do. This begins their road towards love. Ridge has some walls due to his family but Memphis is able to show that he can trust him.
It’s a fun read with a good blend of feelings. We also get to see familiar folks.
This is part of a series but can be read by itself. Ridge works all kinds of odd jobs to make ends meet. He is cat sitting when he finds the Daddy of his dreams, Memphis. I really enjoyed this short book. If you love Daddy/Little stories and quicker paced love stories than this is the book for you. Story 4, Spice 3( there is only one scene) I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I absolutely loved this book! Ridge and Memphis will meet when Ridge is cat sitting and loses the keys in the garbage chute. Memphis will invite him in and wait with him while maintenance deals with the issue. What happens next is a wonderful adventure of two men finding the one person that fits them just right!.

I have read all the books in the series and while sometimes I find they can drag on for no apparent reason I am fine with it because I know its because of the lack of drama. When you read the books I usually do you are waiting for a shoe to fall. Lol. However the books are getting shorter and shorter and the formula the same so perhaps the Author is at the end. Either way there was nothing to put your teeth into.
Ridge's Lost Keys is the eighteenth book in the Found by Daddy series and can be read as a standalone. I've read a bunch of the stories in this series and love reading about the boy's finding their daddy's. This is a sweet and fun read about Memphis and Ridge, I can't wait to read more of this series.
It’s a quick read that was well written and very entertaining. Memphis and Ridge are two great characters and I enjoyed watching their relationship develop over a brief period of time. I gave so much fun reading these. Ridge impressed me. He stayed true to himself regardless of the struggles he had. He found the perfect Daddy for him who let the trust build without force. What a great read.
I absolutely loved this story. This was such a sweet and wonderful story with some amazing new characters and a few familiar ones. I am really enjoying this series.
