Rebecca has loved Henry for as long as she can remember. They have been courting for over two years, but recently he has been cold to her. All he talks about is going away on his rumspsringa. Then she discovers the biggest bunch of flowers she has ever seen, and they are for her. Joy turns to heartache when she finds they are not from Henry.

Will the couple find true love?

The one thing she has always wanted was to go on the Valentine day sled ride, but Henry’s sled is broken. Will Rebecca finds love with the mystery man who leaves her flowers or will she get a true Amish Valentine?

Rebecca and her secret valentine 💞

Oh, what a sweet and tender story! Poor Rebecca....her beau, Henry had his sights set on leaving for a year to live in Las Vegas with his cousin. Just assuming that his girl, Rebecca, would wait for him. She was sad as she was having to go several days at a time without seeing him. He thought her a foolish young girl only wanting to do frivolous things, such as sleigh rides in the snow. Pfft! Thankfully, Henry had a good friend to help him get his head on straight and realize what he was risking by continuing down this road.

P.S. I guessed the mystery! 💐🌹🌺

Rebecca and Henry have been courting for 2 years but he wants to go on rumspringa to Las Vegas but she doesn't want to go. Valelentines day is coming up and suddenly Rebecca is getting large boquets of flowers from a mysterious admirer. Will this prompt Henry to see the value of Rebecca or will he continue with his plans? Will the mysterious admirer become known to Rebecca and replace Henry?

I received an ARC from the author and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Great story......

I've enjoyed reading this story of the young Amish woman who had a boyfriend who was just taking his courting for granted. His girlfriend received a dozen red roses, a note asking her to be his Valentine. He was shocked, who would send his girlfriend rosters, would she like him more then him? The author has the answers!?

Is Waiting necessary for Love to grow?

Two lovely young people in love but rumspringer looms ahead of of them. Will he go, will he stay? Such a big question remains between them. If he goes will she wait? He loves her and she loves him but.... lucky for them he had a friend who gave him a push in the right direction. A charming story really engaging!

Who is sending flowers?

Her beau wants to go to Vegas and leave her behind. Courting for quite some time, is he taking her for granted? Is he going to leave her behind? Can jealously ever be good?

I really enjoyed getting to know the character of Rebecca. I was glad that due to the "secret admirer" Henry came to appreciate what a treasure Rebecca was and came to his senses. A great deal was packed into this short story and I found it very enjoyable.

Love is . . . . . .

Love is every day of the year, not just on Valentine Day. To many times we miss it because it doesn't meet our expectations of love.
