I didn't read this as comprehensively as I would've liked. There is a lot of good information, but it is mixed in with the idea of worshipping Shakti, so it was extra work to read through critically. I wish Tiwari had used some other language to convey that idea, such as 'honoring feminine energy' instead of worshipping an actual goddess, so that those of us who are of a different religious persuasion could more easily access the rituals and information she shares. I like the principles behind Ayurveda just like I like practicing yoga, but do so as a Christian.
Anyways, I still learned a lot of good stuff. I might go back and buy a used copy off of Amazon to use as a reference for the herbal treatments if my own issues don't clear up.

Maya's book has touched me deeply. The book covers health practices and inner healing rituals based on Maya's lineage. Maya is a healer and at the core of her path is restoring the Mother Consciousness in each one of us.
