When Rinne, an unusual girl who can see ghosts and exorcise them with a paper fan, is saved from becoming a ghost by the school punk who ends up in a coma, she forms a relationships with her rescuer's disembodied spirit.
I was sorry to see this one end so soon. I enjoyed it! I really did like this series and I enjoyed the ending but I kinda was hoping for a different outcome. (trying not to give anything away). The end was good the way it was I was just hoping she was with the other guy. (See now you don't know which guy) I don't think I gave anything away. All 3 of them made me laugh Rinne with her obsession with how cute Keiju is, Uzaki in both monkey form and his form trying to beat everyone up and being the tough guy, and Keiju just for being Keiju he blushes alot in this one and makes some very funny faces. If you want a fun read this is one to pickup it is only 3 volumes and it does make you laugh.
This was a really cute/funny series. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I prefer series that don't go on forever, this was just about the perfect length. 3 volumes, and the story was well told. It was enough time get to know the characters a bit and care about them. I was given this series as a gift, along with a few other series, I decided to read this one first because, well, a pink stuffed monkey wearing a top hat really caught my eye. I didn't go in expecting anything really, but I was quite pleased with this series overall.
In this final volume, another spirit comes down from heaven to warn Keiju that if he doesn't come back and apologize, he'll be vanished...forever. Keiju says it's worth it to be human, but Rinne doesn't want him to risk his life to stay with her and Uzaki. Does that mean her feelings for Keiju are growing?
The perfect finish to a great manga series. I look forward to reading other manga by this manga-ka.
Oh wow, I’m surprised!!! There wasn’t a love triangle?!? LOL. That actually makes the story better than I thought! I loved Rinne and Masaharu’s friendship (especially when he was in monkey form)!!!
This was such a fun series!!! SO HILARIOUS. Lots of funny moments and a little romance sprinkled in. Definitely worth the read! And if you liked this, you should read Love Attack by the same mangaka! I loved that one as well.
