The holidays are a time of joy and merriment, but it seems that fate has something different in store for me. My car not only died on route to my hometown, but it had the gall to do so in the middle of a snowstorm that came out of nowhere. Thank goodness the sound of sleighbells led me to this charming little cabin dressed in holiday cheer. It is occupied by the funniest little spirit who is all too happy to feed me. One Jakfros by name.

What a fun holiday read with a supernatural twist on the tale of Jack Frost. Our frost demon Jak is lonely and looking for his holiday meal. Shawna get lost in a snowstorm and Jak leads her to safety and what he hope is the makings if a fabulous feast. What pray tell do frost demons snack on you Amy ask well the merry emotions that the holidays bring to most people. They Siphon the extra merriment and it tides them over for many months. Jak just didn't count on becoming attached to Shawna. Her smile, her laugh and her easy acceptance has fed his sole and he hopes she'll choose to stay with him . Shawna on her way home to her parents for the holiday gets list in a terrible snowstorm. Part of her is not unhappy about it because she wasn't looking forward to her mothers picking apart her lifestyle. When she wakes is a warm beautiful holiday cabin she can't believe her luck when she meets its resident demon she can't believe she wants to stay. Together they find something special and unique.
