Narrator - B.J. Harrison

Great narration for this audio that includes so many various characters. Mr. Harrison does an amazing job of bringing them all to life and giving not only this book, but the whole series, so much emotion.

I loved getting to see Jade and Rex’s preparation for the wedding. For a novella, this has a lot of heart, emotion and angst to it. That overall feeling of family was ever present as Jade and Rex face some difficult situations prior to the wedding and must make a tough decision. And oh my gosh, the storyline with Hope, Rex’s mom’s horse, almost did me in. This was beautifully perfect and a book that I intend to listen to again in the future.

Promise My Love is a short novella and part of The Bradens series of romances. Rex Braden lives in Trusty, Colorado, a handsome, bear of a man, but one who turns to putty in the hands of fiancé Jade Johnson.

Jade is a local vet and has loved Rex for 15 years. She can't wait for her wedding to take place and the weeks running up to the final day have been very busy. Two things are about to rock her boat, she discovers she has lost her half of a precious necklace called "Dance of Two Loves", one she shares with Rex, she fears it is a bad omen especially when she gets a phone call to say her Dad has just had a heart attack.

Jade's emotions are all over the place, she doesn't want to postpone her wedding, yet she also wants her Dad to walk her down the aisle. Rex is also struggling to do the right thing, he feels they should postpone the wedding. On top of this Hope, his mother's horse is off colour. This horse is his father's life-line to their mother and if anything happens to Hope, their world will be in danger of collapse.

Fans of The Bradens will enjoy this book, it is full of love, weddings and family devotions.

Once upon a time these families you could be like romeo and juliet and one day Romeo aka Rex and Juliet aka Jade fell in love 15 years ago though they fought it due to their fathers but 4 years prior Rex saw Jade and knew he had to make her his so now its four years later from the time they dated to their up and coming wedding and they have one obstacle after another . first Jade loses her necklace that was Rex's mothers necklace that she considered fate . then Hope Rex's horse seemed depressed or something was wrong . then Jade's father had a heart attack and now they don't know if they should have the wedding or postpone it but fate has something else planned in the whispering voice of Rex's mother who died due to Cancer and also why does all the family seem to be getting pregnant and does that mean Jade will too and how will they get married in the way Jade had planned or in a different way to find this and more buy , read and review this book also i have never read this author but i want to read more ,.

Sexy Rexy and Jade
That was a beautiful novella. Whew... But emotional. The Braden's are an awesome family. I honestly believe they're more rich in love than money.

Promise My Love is a dream come through for fans of the The Bradens. Melissa Foster uses this novella to bring us back to the Braden ranch in Colorado and check in with the entire Braden clan. As Rex and Jade are preparing for their wedding, we get a wonderful opportunity to check in with recent births and pregnancies, and all of the developments of the Braden family members and the loves of their lives.

Despite the shorter length than a typical Melissa Foster novel, the author manages to infuse the entire gamut of emotions: fear, happiness, love, anxiety... you name it, you experience it in this novella. The author even gives us an opportunity to see the wonderful relationship between horses and people as the family deals with a potential illness in their beloved Hope, their mother's horse who spends most of the book not feeling well. The diagnosis and treatment are a wonderful testament to the love that this family has for each other and the horse that they know helps sustain their father.

All in all, a wonderful catch up with the Bradens. Rex is still a fantastic hero and, as expected, comes up with a creative solution to their wedding challenge that creates a wonderfully-romatic end, or is it a beginning, to their love story. And his emotional outburst at the wedding - classic!

This novella took me approximately one hour to read--I read it straight through immediately drawn into the drama that was Rex and Jade's (from Destined for Love) impending nuptials. I mean really, these were the two who loved each other forever but because of a feud between their fathers--well--until they finally stood up and fought those stubborn old men! It is now 4 years later and they have decided it is time to start a family--but the Braden men believe in "first comes love, then comes marriage-THEN comes those baby carriages"! So the wedding is being planned and as in life-anything and everything that could go wrong did including Jade misplacing the necklace that brought them together in the first place! Will everything work out as planned? If you haven't read Destined for Love then I suggest you read it first although it can be read as a stand alone.

Love, family and happiness are the running themes in the Love In Bloom series and this novella remains true to Melissa Foster's magic formula. Enjoying this novella was like catching up with old friends and experiencing their excitement as they move forward in their lives. My favorite parts are reading about the other characters making their way back to Weston and finding out how their stories have evolved as well. I cannot get enough of these characters and continue to look forward to more from the Bradens.

Short snd sweet, but a great follow up story to Destined For Love. This novella ties up Rex and Jade's story. There is conflict that causes Jade to doubt whether or not they were really destined for each other. They have to find a way to get beyond the conflict.
My copy of this novella was included in a boxed set anthology titled "Sweet Talk" that was put out for charity. I did not purchase it individually, so I will not show up as a verified purchaser.

Nice little side story to the longer series. I don't know that I'd start off anyone with this book because I love the series as a whole and I don't think this truly highlights Melissa Foster's talent.

It was wonderful to visit with Jade and Rex again and to see how the rest of that branch of the Braden clan is doing. If you've read the rest of the series you should read this. If you haven't read this series, start from the very first book "Sisters in Love".

Promise My Love is part of Melissa Foster's Love in Bloom Series. It is a fantastic novella featuring Jade and Rex's wedding. If you are a fan of Melissa's work, you will remember them from the story Destined for Love.
The best part about this series is that you get to catch up with many of the Bradens as this story unfolds. The only problem with this story is it left me wanting for more of the Bradens. I can't wait for the next release in this series!

Promise My Love (Love in Bloom Book #28) by Melissa Foster.
The Love in Bloom series proved to be a heartwarming journey through love, family, and personal growth. Spanning multiple interconnected series/stories, it offers a wonderful blend of romance, humor, and emotional depth that kept me reading the whole way through.
Ms. Foster crafted fully developed, relatable, and multidimensional characters who added an extra element of emotion and interest to my overall reading experience. The heroes are fiercely loyal and endearing, while the heroines are smart, empowered, and refreshingly ‘real’. Each character feels like someone you could know in real life, making their struggles and triumphs, high and lows, all the more impactful.
The stories have a perfect balance of steamy romance mixed with heartfelt moments. But that doesn’t mean that Ms. Foster shies away from exploring deeper themes like forgiveness, self-discovery, and the complexities of relationships – adding dynamic layers to the storyline/s. But, despite the emotional depth, the series still maintains more of a lighthearted charm, sprinkled with humor and tender family connections.
While each novel can be read as a standalone, there is an interconnectedness with the recurring characters and overlapping storylines - which help create a sense of community that feels warm and inviting. It’s like being welcomed into a big, loving family where everyone has a worthwhile story to tell.
‘Within the Love in Bloom big-family romance collection you'll find fiercely loyal heroes and smart, empowered women on their search for true love. They're flawed, funny, and easy to relate to. Characters from each series appear in future Love in Bloom books…’
If you are a fan of contemporary romance or simply looking for a feel-good series to escape into, this series is a worthwhile binge read…

I was taking a short car ride and couldn’t decide what to listen to. Promise My Love is a quick listen with it only being 2 hours and 30 minutes long. It was the perfect length to listen to on my ride. I love hearing BJ Harrison bring to life some of my favorite Love in Bloom characters. I was reminded of how wonderful they all are and how much I love that Melissa Foster is continuing this series while keeping the ol’ favorites still in the story.

Short, sweet, and still so sexy. That is exactly how I would describe Promise My Love. The Bradens are known for being so sexy and tough but what I really love about them is the sweet and sensuous sides of these hunky men. Although this is a novella, I read it in one night, there is a story here. The story of Rex and Jade’s wedding. There is love, trust, and of course a twist.

My favorite Bradens (TREAT!) make appearances and you get a small peek into what is happening in their lives. With all the babies being born Melissa Foster could be writing this series forever! I am not sure that the Braden bloodline will ever stop.

Usually I would say that each of the Love in Bloom books can be read as a stand alone book, but this time I believe you need to have read some of the Braden part of this series to truly appreciate this story. I highly recommend starting with the first one and reading them in order, believe me you won’t be able to put them down.

Promise My Love is the story of Rex Braden and Jade Johnson's wedding, and it's surrounding challenges and dramas. I recommend listening to this novella after reading all the previous books in The Braden's series because Foster brings back all of our favorite couples to attend the wedding. Although I felt that Jade and Rex's story ended with an HEA in Destined for Love, I enjoyed seeing how much their relationship had grown in depth and feeling during their four year engagement. In many of the books in the series, Rex is such a gruff and intimidating character in both size and personality, so I loved watching him melt into a softy for Jade. The story is more sweet than steamy, so it pulls at the heartstrings more than it requires a fan. Little new ground is covered in Promise My Love, but it is the perfect cap to this wonderful series, and I highly recommend it to fans of the series.

B.J. Harrison narrators the majority of the Love in Bloom stories, and I love that continuity. He has a rich, mellow voice that portrays both male and female characters skillfully. My favorite character from Harrison is the Braden patriarch, Hal, but he is equally sexy for all of the Braden men.

I received a copy of this audiobook at my request in exchange for this honest review.

As much as I loved all the Bradens of Weston and Trusty stories I think Rex and Jade were my favorite couple. I was thrilled to discover this little novella of Rex and Jade's wedding. Like any faithful reader of a series it's always a little sad when you reach the final book and you have to leave the characters you've come to know so well behind. So this short story was a great opportunity to revisit the Bradens of Weston with a few of their Trusty cousins thrown in. It's been four years since Rex and Jade declared their love for one another and started playing house together. I was starting to wonder if they'd ever get married? Finally with them both wanting to begin a family they're going to say "I do." But not without a few unexpected hurdles to overcome. It's a heartwarming little story that allows the readers to catch up with what is going on with all the Weston Bradens and their significant others. If you loved the series you'll love this little novella as a finishing compliment to it.

B.J. Harrison is one of my favorite narrators and he doesn’t disappoint in Promise My Love. He’s able to convey not only different characters, but emotions throughout, making you forget you’re not an actual witness to the story unfolding.

Promise My Love is the follow-up to Destined For Love where Rex Braden and Jade Johnson defied an age old family feud and found love. Their wedding story has been long awaited and was the perfect novella that gave us the opportunity to catch up with the Braden family. There’s something for everyone: sweet romance, hot passion and endless love along with a mix of love beyond the boundaries of this earth.

Melissa Foster did what she always does, she leaves you wanting more. Five Stars for Rex and Jade!

The 40 feud between Rex and Jade's fathers is over and after 4 years together, Rex and Jade prepare to be married. Her dad's heart attack, his mother's lost necklace, a sick family and a depressed horse has Rex wanting to postpone the wedding but Jade refuses to do so. The day of the wedding, Jade's father is once again rushed back to the hospital for chest pains. As they are gathered in his hospital room, Hal reminds them that the perfect wedding is not what matters, love is what matters. Rex knows his dad is right and arranges for them to be married right there in the hospital with their family and friends present.

As Treat begins the ceremony, Jade informs Rex she is pregnant and they finally get their HEA.

I always love getting a look into the future of my favorite couples and Melissa Foster gives us that with Rex and Jade's wedding. As things get closer, emotions are running high, family is getting ready to come in and things get crazy! When an unexpected situation comes up, the two even consider postponing! And it's not the only surprise that causes some anguish. Missing jewelry and a sick animal all play into the wedding day superstitions. But in good Braden style, the family pulls together and gets them through. Loving family and friends is what the Bradens are all about and I loved this culmination of Rex and Jade! BJ Harrison gives voice to all the characters we have come to love. He is the voice of the Bradens, and keeps the books consistent from story to story! Loved this novella!

A great naughty story with a wonderful wedding. B. J. Harrison is a super narrator of the audiobook.
Jade Johnson had loved Rex Braden for 15 years. After he stood up to her father, she had continued to love him for four more years. Rex ran the family ranch and Jade was a Veterinarian . With their wedding only three days away, Jade's father had a heart attack. and was in the hospital. They wanted to hold off the wedding, but her father wouldn't hear of it. On top of that, Jade had lost Rex's mothers necklace. It was called the dance of two lovers. Will they finally get married? Get it and find out!

This quick return to Jade and Rex was such a great book! I enjoyed catching up with the couple as well as the characters from the previous books as a way to catch up with them. I loved being able to share in Rex and Jade's wedding despite the bumps that were in the road for them as they were able to get all of their HEA dreams. As with all of the books in this series, I enjoyed how family remains as such an important aspect of the story. The narration from Mr. Harrison continues to be performed well with this series as he brings life to the story and making it an enjoyable listening experience. This quick book was a great addition to the series and I would recommend it to others.

Jade and Rex have finally planned their wedding, but some much happens. Jade loses her half of the necklace the Rex's mother knew belonged to the two of them. Jade's dad has a heart attack and Jade is worried that her father will not make the wedding. While Rex wants to hold off on the wedding as he is afraid that Jade's dad will not be able to walk her down the aisle. While all this is going on everyone seems to be having babies and Rex is ready to have one but he wants to married first. With some much stuff going on will these two every get married?

This was such a great book short but really sweet.

Love the Bradens

After settling decades long family feud Jade and Rex wait four years to get married and just few days before wedding her Dad has heart attack and surgery, she loses the necklace Rex's Mother intended for them, one of Rex's brothers said he may not make it. Jade refused to postpone and looked like things were going to work out until her Dad was rushed back to hospital just before wedding and she discovers she is pregnant. Rex pulled the wedding together in hospital and they have their happily ever after.

Love the Braden's the warmth of their families, togetherness, fight for what they believe in. the Braden men all worship their true loves. WOW! God I wish I had that kind of love.
Sweet, hot sex scene too. Let's not forget the spirit of Adriana is with the Braden men when they need her the most!
But did we have to get so drastic in the chaos for Rex & Jade's wedding, First the necklace, then her father's heart attach after a year of planning.
Though true loves overcomes all obstacles.

Love the Bradens ❤️ - Audiobook Review 🎧
I love Rex and Jade and it was nice to spend time with them again and see them finally get married. They had a lot of ups and downs prepping for the wedding, but it was nice that the family was there to help them through everything. That was my favorite part of the story - having the Bradens together and catching up with them again. I really loved this book and the only downside was that I wish it was longer so I could have spent more time with the entire family! ❤️ As always, the narration was great! Looking forward to the next book!

I loved this quick listen that shows us what happens after the HEA of our favorite couples. This is about Rex and Jade's coming wedding and the complications that can get in the way. It was a beautiful and emotional story about love, family, and discovering what is most important in life. It was fun catching up with all the Braden characters that I love so much, and the ending really captured my heart!
B.J. Harrison continues to narrate this heartfelt, and delightful series. His voice is soothing as he swept me away with all the fun, excitement and passion. He really makes this an enjoyable quick listen, as he brings these characters and to life.

The perfect wedding

Loved seeing Rex and Jade finally walk down he isle (kinda).
After four long years they are finally getting married but what’s a wedding without everything seeming to fall apart at the last minute?

Spending a few days with the Braden’s always leaves a smile on my face.

We are at the wedding of Rex and Jade, what a great way to catch up with the rest of the family as well, and see the start of another family romance. As usual nothing goes to plan with Jade loosing her Lovers necklace, then her father being hospitalised. Dane and Lacy not sure it they can make it. There is the right amount of angst, laughter and tears. Loved it.

Love revisited

I love when authors revisit couples they have already given a previous HEA! We met Jade and Rex I’m Destined for Love. They were the epitome of love endurance despite adversity / family feuds. To get to see them again and see where they are, four years later, was wonderful.
