As a Syndicate princess, I'm used to being underestimated. As a Capo dei Capi and Pakhan's wife, they know I will stop at nothing to bring back my king. With Parker at my side and an army of tactical mobsters at my back, I hand myself over to Kane wrapped in a pretty pink, shiny bow. I mean, the show must go on after all.
I will read ANY book written by Ruby. She knows how to write spice, drama, and plot with great characters. I will eat it up! Gimme more! Gimme more!!!!!!! I’m hoping we get Niko and Rory’s story now! I wasn’t expecting that twist!
Now that this book is out you need a little something to hold you up.. Read the BONUS EPILOGUE only in the paperback of STUTTER ( The Tongueless duet, Raven and Sabrina with their Men and so much more ) Leave it to Ruby To get me dehydrated, all my fluids came out !Tears, sweat, and 💦
I could never do it justice, or express how much I loved this trio, their love is unmatched, they are truly three pieces to one puzzle.
Sabrina our FMC, is a raging Queen seeking to get her husband back, in one piece, and that's non negotiable!
The reason I love Sabrina so much, is she is so relatable, she built herself back brick by brick, she was vulnerable, broken, and her support system was her yearning Bodyguard, who also didn't know the full story, but was a silent sentinel, watching over her, as she navigates the darkest time of her life, with a broken soul and silky gloves.
And when she married the russian-italian mafia boss ( back then the hated : Maksim), the bond that Sabrina and Parker shared was a solid wall, Maksim couldn't claim!
Until Parker MF Savage Hayes invited him in, and like the Daddy he is, guided them all to a happy bliss... before Ruby said hold my beer, and decided to blow up the whole world in Book 1 leaving us gasping for air, like fish out of water!
In SNAP, we get to see Sabrina pull up her lacey Queen panties and raise hell to get her husband back, with the help of her second husband Parker, and some new characters we get introduced to that I can't wait to see in the Rubyverse! Alexie is on top my most loved characters with his fart-detector ( Parker's words)
The plot twist and baddassery of Sabrina was the perfect combo for a great read, I re-read it twice, just like the naughty list, the quality of spice in this one was heart jerking good, the way the scenes are pictures, Ruby really translated their emotions so beautifully into the physical act, there was healing while they were getting hot .
Let's talk about mama Tildy, the mother Queen, you see where Sabrina gets her Spine of Steel, This woman bulldozed her way to see her baby inside the den of vipers !!
As sad as I'm to see this duet come to an end, I Know that Ruby will keep us fed, seeing them Cameo in her other stories is like seeing an old friend Looking for all the amazing books by Ruby!
Ruby never fails to outdo herself because HOW does each book somehow get better than the last? This book is intense, emotional and heavily layered. Truly. Sabrina is a unique and incredible FMC. She’s fierce, complicated, and completely unforgettable. The way she loves her men, the lengths she’s willing to go for them, the fire burning in her is everything. And her inner monologue?! One of my favorite things about this duet! Her revenge era was executed flawlessly and every moment of it hit just right. This is HER story and it was everything we needed. What really makes this story shine is how many layers are woven throughout. The feminine rage. The shifting power dynamics. The trauma and healing. The vulnerability. Ruby balanced the heavy and the light really well, especially when needed. I'm obsessed with the interconnected characters and side characters? Every single one added something to the story. I genuinely want to scream about this book, but saying too much would ruin the experience because this is one of those stories you need to read yourself. Just trust me and get this book into your hands immediately because waiting to read Snap honestly feels detrimental for one's health.
This picks right after book 1 left off, and it was a roller-coaster of emotions, Sabrina becomes such a baddie in this one. I loved her! And I loved Parker, he is such a good partner and completely devoted to Sabrina.
But I had a hard time with Maksim on this one, we spent almost all the book with him in captivity, and after they rescued him he had a lot to work through, but I felt that was rushed, and just when he started healing and feeling better, the book abruptly ends, I personally didn't feel like his story was well told or finished, by the end of the book there's still a disconnection between him and Sabrina.
During the first book they all work hard to adapt to their dynamic, and they formed a great throuple, but by the end of this book, they didn't felt as connected or as established as they were, I know they all went through a lot, and dealing with Kane was difficult for all of them, but I wish we got more time of them reconnecting and moving forward together after everything.
I hope there's another book coming for them, or at least a novella, where we can see them get everything they want, as it stands, their story seems incomplete.
💖Mafia Goddess 💖Revenge 💖She Saves Him 💖MFM 💖Bodyguard
Absolute F**king Banger of a read top tier in every way. In true Ruby fashion another beautifully written masterpiece. The way that Sabrina brought her bad ass side out had me wiping my drool off. The energy that bad bi**h puts off is nothing shy of amazing. This book took us in a whole new way with the story and the shift in the power dynamic between Maksim and Sabrina having him being vulnerable and her stepping into her power and strength. The amount of times I laughed so hard between her and Raven was unreal. That duo is my absolute fave. The way Ruby kept the story light in moments needed while we danced in the dark was spectacular. I enjoyed getting to have more of Parker and his place in the dynamic as I loved that sexy man so much. Loved getting to watch Sabrina play the role she was meant to be. When Raven played the damn pink panther song 🎶 pure heaven loved it. Amazing ending with that little curveball I had a feeling was coming. Great read absolute honor to get to have ARC read yet another great read by her.

SNAP - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ …. Let me start by saying Ruby is an incredible author! If you’re new to her writing… you will fall in deep with ALL of her characters and writing style. She can write spice like NO OTHER!
I recently read Scream (the first book in the Duchess and Devils Duet) and was completely captivated and that cliffhanger!! … SNAP starts where Scream left off! I read this book in one sitting and literally could not put it down. This is an MFM dark mafia romance and Sabrina, the FMC really comes into herself with this book and is a complete “Pretty in Pink” Mafia Goddess! I love a strong female character that can also be feminine. I loved how the plot evolved, the whit and dynamics were perfect and the MMC’s were so supportive. I absolutely cannot recommend this duet enough. 🩷🧁
I have been waiting—aching—for the follow‑up to Sabrina’s story since the last pages of Scream, and let me tell you: SNAP didn’t just meet my expectations. It obliterated them. And when SNAP finally dropped? I didn’t just read it. I devoured it. I ascended. I became a creature of pure serotonin and vengeance.
Sabrina is a brilliant, avenging angel. A blade wrapped in pink silk. A woman who has been forged in fire and now walks through the world with the kind of quiet, lethal confidence that makes grown men rethink their life choices while commanding mafia men when necessary. And if you think you can mess with her men, you’re not just wrong—you’re courting death. And honestly? You deserve what’s coming.
What makes this addition to the duet truly sing is the way Parker and Maksim see her. Not as someone to protect from her own darkness, but as someone whose power deserves space, respect and the occasional nudge to unleash hell. The way they understand her—what she’s capable of, what she needs—is absolute perfection. The trust that they have in her is absolutely swoon worthy.
But the part that gutted me, healed me, and stitched me back together? Sabrina’s arc. It is a balm for anyone who has lived through trauma and clawed their way back to themselves. Watching her rise from the ashes of what was done to her and become a phoenix with no mercy… it’s cathartic. It’s empowering. It’s the kind of story that reminds you that survival isn’t the end—rebirth is.
This book isn’t just a follow‑up. It’s a reckoning. And Sabrina delivers it with fire in her veins and her men at her side throughout it all.
Well what a ride - if you love Sabrina and her men in book one then you will enjoy the hawt, anger, rollercoaster of this one.
We all know where it left off and of course that cliff hanger was hard well the plot and Ruby drives us hard in part 2 and be prepared for a roller coaster of emotions. So much happens, we have a good plot, some very intense spicy scenes, some deep emotional moments and just so so so so so much more that I wont divulge so you can enjoy. They all go through so much in this story and it’s beautiful to see it all. I love seeing how the get through it together and where they all end.
And if you love Raven well you know she wouldn’t not be at Sabrina’s side… our little karma!
Oof and I must say I 100% saw that epilogue ending coming and how giddy does that make me! Also Aleksi…. I loved him in this 🩷

ARC Review:
Snap is the second instalment of the Duchess & Devils series by Ruby M.Darling. And, damn… this was everything I wanted and so much more!
We jump right back into the storyline with Sabrina and her delicious men. My goodness do I love these guys! The character development is on point. Sabrina is a brilliant and strong female character that is determined to stand by her men. I love the dynamics between our main characters. It’s hot, spicy, complex and with the intensity and healing of beautiful and powerfully crafted relationships.
An emotional rollercoaster ride right from the start. We are pulled back into this delicately crafted world of dark mafia, found family and epic plot lines… this is a compelling and immersive book that will consume you and you’ll love it!
Our MMCs couldn’t be more different, but each is made for our FMC. Parker, I love this man! Is always there for her. A friend, lover and confidant. And she makes no effort to hide the fact that she is head over heels for him. A beautiful and loving relationship that makes you melt. And with the events which unfold we see so much more to the dynamic.
Maksim, is a total bad boy and I love everything about him and his captivating dark side. A beautiful, complicated and complex character that would burn the world for his girl! His character is put through the toughest moments in this twisting narrative but with these characters standing by each other’s side they can make everyone pay.
The addition of Raven and her delicious ensemble was perfection! The entire series has ruined me and I couldn’t be happier… well until the audiobook comes out!! I can’t wait!
Purely brilliant work by Ruby as always, she has created an incredible story and given us characters that will stay with us! Beautifully dark and wholly consuming!

My beautiful wife tastes of manic violence and smells like my enemy's blood.
‘Snap’ (finale to the Duchess and Devils duet) DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! 5⭐️ 5🌶️
*Spoilers if you haven’t read ‘Scream’, book 1 of the duet or the Rayne-Moore University (RMU) trilogy, as there is some crossover to the stories*
THIS STORY IS ABSOLUTE FIRE!!! I seriously could not put it down! After that doozy of a cliffhanger in the first book, I was enveloped in this story from page 1, absolutely needing to find out what was going to happen next.
In the first book Sabrina is healing and learning to cope with her past trauma. In ‘Snap’, Sabrina is embracing her newfound confidence, dealing with her continuous anxieties, and learning to step into her role as they search for her kidnapped husband. She truly becomes the “Duchess” of the Mafia and Bratva, (which garners they key members’s respect and unwavering support), while plotting her enemies demise, crazy extraction plans, and wielding her bedazzled pink handgun!
The feminine rage was truly felt in this story, and Sabrina was not stopping until she got her payback… even going so far as to fake it with the enemy to get her well-deserved revenge!! She is absolutely bada$$ in this book, showing her strength and unwavering determination, even after everything she’s been through! The epitome of overcoming obstacles that try to keep us down, and rising above a past that doesn’t define who we are meant to become!!!
The story was fairly fast-paced and intense, having me on the edge of my seat with every page!! Great plot, lots of emotional aspects, and I loved how in-depth it went into the coping process of people who’ve went through some truly f()cked up situations. PTSD is real, and the way this was expressed in the story, plus the process of what the characters did to work on overcoming the trauma, was brilliantly explored!
I absolutely loved that Raven and her men make several appearances in this story! Truly a testament to the friendship and bond Sabrina and Raven have held over the years. Raven humming the Mission Impossible theme song while they were watching Sabrina skulk through the mansion hallways on the security camera feeds, was utterly hilarious!!
The banter was on-point… the sisterly bond was heartwarming… the action was intense… even the bits of humor thrown in was executed perfectly… and the spice between Sabrina, Parker and Maksim??? WHEW… Ruby did not disappoint!!! We got the perfect mix of chemistry, relationship building and hot-hot-hotness!!!
An absolute MUST-READ!!! So if you’re looking for your next revenge-plotting adventures, with amazing characters in a why-choose universe, bada$$ FMCs and obsessed MMCs, you MUST pick up Ruby’s books — starting with the Rayne-Moore University series and following into the Duchess and Devils duet — YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

🧁Snap 🧁was everything I thought it was going to be and more, I am so proud of how far Sabrina was able to grow into herself. She really found who she was in her darkest moments. I love a good revenge story and Ruby sure knows how to make a girl get PAY BACK. I honestly enjoyed this story so much. I ate it up.
This story picks up right where scream left off, so there is immediate suspense. I was hooked from the first page. Bad Bitch/Girl Boss vibes immediately. Sabrina stands by her men. No one is going to take them from her, she will make sure of that in all her 🩷 PINK 🩷 glory.
Parker is quite literally made for her, he knows her better than she knows herself. Parker isn’t just her partner but also her best friend. The best friend that is going to give/tell you what you need and not what you want. Sabrina’s love for Parker is shown while she stood by him after he gets shot, almost losing him tore her apart. She makes sure he is well enough to get Maksim back. They do not play when it comes to their husband, no one will stand in their way.
Maks is the one you never knew you needed. He embraces the darkness within her and allows her to dwell in that space. Their love is the force that made her conquer her worse fears. Maksim getting taken lit something fierce in Sabrina. I loved to see it, She put her PINK 👑 on and became BOSS LADY. The respect Maksim’s people have for Sabrina is honestly one of my favorite things in this story. She is not just Maksim’s wife, she is their boss in her own right. 🩷
I am always a why choose girl, but this time I truly feel with my whole soul that this trio belongs together.
Oh and don’t get me started on my girl Raven in this book. That is a Ride Or Die best friend. I already love her so much. When she set fire to make sure Sabrina was safe, knowing damn well she was pregnant and HID FROM HER HUSBANDS?! I knew it was about to go down. Raven is such a bad ass herself, and her showing up for Sabrina and being the anchor she needed was really great to see. (The Pink Panther song was my favorite Raven moment in this story, aside from the fire). 💜🐦⬛
Sabrina is a true Duchess and bad ass. I hope everyone can see her growth and know it is possible to get passed the things we have gone through. Life is hard but you are STRONG.
Ruby you did SUCH AN AMAZING JOB! Thank you so much for the eARC and allowing me the opportunity to provide my honest review.

I received an ARC of Snap by Ruby M. Darling in exchange for an honest review.
Ruby M. Darling absolutely delivered with Snap. If book 1 in the Duchess & Devils series left you with questions, this sequel wastes no time pulling you right back into the chaos while unraveling the truths that have been simmering beneath the surface.
This book is dark, intense, emotionally charged, and impossible to put down. The tension is relentless, and just when I thought I had things figured out, another twist completely shifted everything. The suspense was perfectly balanced with the emotional depth, making it more than just a dark romance — it’s a psychological rollercoaster that keeps you fully invested.
How Ruby takes characters from other series and interconnects them is brilliant. “Dun… da-dun, da-dun da-dun… doo-be-doo-be-doo,” will forever be stuck in my head every time I see someone dressed head to toe in black.
The character development was one of the strongest parts of this story. The layers peeled back throughout the book add so much complexity, making every choice, revelation, and emotional moment hit even harder. The chemistry is electric, the obsession runs deep, and the darker themes are handled in a way that heightens the stakes of the story.
Ruby has a talent for creating an atmosphere that feels unsettling, addictive, and consuming all at once, and Snap is a perfect example of that. Ruby often says her books are “10% plot and 90% spice,” and of course she didn’t hold back on the spice in this book. But this time it wasn’t just spice — I genuinely felt the romance between Sabrina and Maksim in a way I didn’t fully feel in book 1.
And the line work… OMG.
Some of the absolute best lines written are in this book. There are authors often referred to as icons who might only have one or two memorable lines in their entire repertoire, but Ruby isn’t one of those authors. She has more iconic lines in this book than a lot of authors will have in their whole careers.
If you loved the first book, this sequel delivers everything you’d want: more answers, more twists, more intensity, and an ending that leaves a lasting impact. And maybe a continuation….
The title could not be more fitting because Sabrina has absolutely snapped. She will burn the worl down if that’s what it takes to get Maks back, and there is nothing she won’t do.
The first half of this book is dark, chaotic, aggresive, and completely unhinged in the best way. Watching Sabrina fully embrace the monster within her while building a chaotic ruthless plan to get to Maks had me absolutely glued to the pages. Ruby took the darkness from book one and somehow made it even more unhinged and feral.
One of the things I continue to absolutely love about Ruby’s writing is how she keeps expanding this tangled web of interconnected characters and relationships. Every new character added feels intentional and layered, never just filler, and each one somehow deepens the chaos, loyalty, and emotional wieght.
And seeing familiar faces woven back into the story?? Obsessed. Aleksi and Niko’s presence was like coming home. Seeing old friends in the middle of absolute carnage. But beyond that, they bring this unexpected levity and humor into the darkness. In the middle of all the chaos, trauma, and violence, those moments of banter and familiarity felt like little breaths of air before being thrown right back inot the madness.
But the second half of this book? That’s what truly got me. And it’s hard to explain why without spoilers. But beneath all the violence, obsession, and chaos is something painfully human. Because healing isn’t linear. Healing is ugly and exhausting and complicated - not just for the person tryinig to survive it, but for those loving them through it. Watching the internal and external battles unfold was honestly hard to read at times. The anger, the grief, the fractured pieces. There is this constant push and pull between wanting revenge, wanting peace, wanting control, an desperately wanting to feel whole.
Ruby balanced the darkness with the emotional aftermath in a way that hit so much harder than I expected, and I genuinely was not prepared for how deep this story would go.
“I AM ELEGANCE AND I AM GRACE AS MUCH AS I AM FURY…”And Sabrina? She proved every single word of it.
Snap by Ruby Darling didn’t just meet my expectations after the devastation of Scream… it annihilated them completely.
I have been aching for Sabrina’s story since the final pages of Scream and the second SNAP dropped into my hands I disappeared into it completely. This wasn’t reading. This was emotional warfare.
From the moment Raven and her men entered my life in the Rayne-Moore University Trilogy I was obsessed, but Sabrina? Sabrina owns me now. Officially my favourite FMC of all time.
She is rage wielding a pink dagger. A woman forged by trauma who rises from the ashes sharper, stronger and utterly lethal. Watching her step fully into her power had me in absolute awe because Ruby didn’t write a survivor… she wrote a Duchess who would walk across a war zone for the men she loves, hold their hands at the gates of hell and make the devil nervous you arrived together!
And Parker and Maksim? THE STANDARD.What makes this duet unforgettable is the way they see Sabrina. They never fear her darkness or try to silence it. They trust her with it. They love every furious, broken, powerful piece of her and stand beside her while she unleashes hell on anyone foolish enough to threaten what’s hers. The devotion? The respect? The trust? I was swooning one second and sobbing the next.
This book wrecked me emotionally in the most beautiful way possible. I cried more than once, stared at walls processing chapters and genuinely felt parts of Sabrina’s healing settle into my own heart.
But not just her’s …THEIR journey feels cathartic for anyone who has ever had to claw themselves back together after surviving something that tried to destroy them.
And Ruby… setting part of this story in the UK had me absolutely tickled pink 😉
SNAP isn’t just a sequel. It’s a reckoning. It’s fury. Healing. Vengeance. Love. And it completely consumed my soul. 🖤
Snap was everything I wanted after finishing Scream.
One of my favorite things about this series is that Ruby writes strong women without stripping away their ability to be vulnerable. The FMC is stubborn, intelligent, fully capable of handling herself, and so brave when many women would cower with what she manages to pull off in this book.
After the ending of book one, I was desperate to see how the rescue would unfold, and Snap absolutely delivered. Watching her fight for one of her men while dealing with the fallout of everything that happened in book one kept me turning pages long past the point where I should have gone to bed. Is it truly a Ruby book if I am not losing sleep over it? I feel like this books should come with an advisory start in the morning or be prepared. LOL
I loved how realistic the characters were in the respect that none of them were picture perfect. Even Parker, had his moments of needing time to come to terms with the events that happened in this book. I was thoroughly surprised at the events that were presented that Sabrina had to watch happen. NGL I would be wildly incapable of poker facing my way through watching what she did. I adored that some of the OG characters from the tongueless duet came back for this book the cross over was everything to a girl that wasn't ready to see the end of these characters yet. The moments I was so worried for these characters was epic but so on brand for a Ruby book. As much as I could not put this down I am also tremendously sad to say goodbye to these characters. Probably time for a reread for sure. Wonder if I can pester Ruby enough to write more books with the side characters so I can keep living in this universe?
This is the kind of book that you sit, and read, and you don't stop until there's no more book to read. The plot is very interesting and grabs you right away.
On the surface this is a mafia/secret society action story. There were parts that made me laugh. There was cute banter. Fantastic side characters. But despite the fast pace and all of the action, the story is intense and emotional. What it is actually about is dealing with trauma, loss, guilt. It made me cry several times. I even cried in the middle of a spicy chapter, because Ruby uses everything (plot, spice, action) to develop further her characters.
Whatever the magic ingredient is that makes me completely fall in love with a character, this book has it. I liked Maksim in the first book; he is interesting and smart, with a few unique twists that make him different from the usual mafia-type character. But he wasn't my favorite. This book made me care about him like I've cared for very few characters. I also loved learning more about Parker and his past that gave the character even more depth. The love and the need these two strong men have for Sabrina, and their willingness to be led by her were fascinating to see.
As much as I loved Maksim and Parker, this is Sabrina's book. Her journey, from the ghost of a woman in the beginning of the first book to the queen that she is, was incredible. She is a complex character that bakes and uses pink paint and glitter spray on her DIY projects while at the same time is an unstoppable force when the people she loves are threatened. Sabrina is one of the most interesting female characters I’ve ever read about.
Even though my expectations were very high, this book exceeded them.
Snap turned out to be everything I dreamed of and MORE. I was left not breathing at the end of Scream & we are dropped in right where we left off, which I always appreciate. My expectations of this book weren't simply met, they were demolished and rebuilt into something more. I have always felt a closeness to Sabrina, and seeing her snap and rage truly was a healing moment. "...A woman like Sabrina, who knows the answers and has no questions...under the weight of that mask and pink armor, well...she'll snap."
Could be considered mild spoilers - proceed with this is mind 🩷
I think my biggest takeaway from this is the absolute STRENGTH each character exhibited. Sabrina facing her biggest trauma for her husband. "This is for my husband. I can do this." Her violent strength was a thing of beauty, and I feel so much pride. Parker repeats his mantra and pushes through, standing beside Sabrina to save "our" husband. And Maks repeating "I will not go back to my wife broken" throughout actually broke me. They all truly went through so much, and watching them fight with and for each other and the life they wanted was so hard but beautiful. I loved every single second.
I also really loved the moments where I cackled because both of our groups are absolutely hilarious, and putting them together is so entertaining. Pink Panther literally was golden. IYKYK. Sabrina's inner thoughts were actually amazing and felt great because I too...am the drama lol
Anyways, this duet is God-Tier for me, and I highly recommend jumping in! I am so thankful to be a part of Ruby Darling's street team. It's truly an honor to be an early reader. Haven't joined the fun yet? Start with Speak <3
"My only pronouns currently are seek and destroy." "I'm done smiling politely. I'm choosing violence."
"I am alive. Though I've been through the valley of the shadow of Death, I have conquered evil and have no fear. Demons see me rise and seek refuge. Thought I am but a man, I am greater than the shadows that perch themselves above me. They do not have access to my mind nor my soul. I am the unconquerable. My demons fear me..."
I don't even know where to start. Snap was everything I ever thought it would be and more. I waited for so long (not really but let me exaggerate here) to see what Sabrina would do after Maksim is kidnapped and Parker is shot. She did not disappoint at all. Like not even remotely a little. Every part of her extraction plan was absolutely bonkers and so completely her. The icing on the cupcake was how many bodies she took down before offing her graper. And of course she kept her vow of what she wanted to do to him. But Snap wasn't just about Sabrina bringing her husband back to her and Parker (who also felt like he was missing a part of him), it was the aftermath. Sure, the extraction and everything took about 70% of the book, but the most important parts came after: when reality set in after they returned home and the healing starts. Maksim had me worried for a while that he wasn't going to bounce back, but he knew what he had to do aka a throat punch from Parker and multiple slaps from Sabrina. Damon being Damon and Raven being Raven was an integral part of all of their healing journeys so they can make it back to each other. In true Ruby fashion, ending the epilogue with a little tidbit for what's next and a "or is it" to leave us hanging (how dare you).
This deserves every star, no just for the feminine rage, but also the healing factors, the healthy showing of coping with trauma and finally admitting you need help, for unaliving the cockwomble, for all of it.

If you are new to the world of Ruby Darling well buckle up and get ready for a ride. I cannot recommend her books enough! Though this is a duet I highly recommend reading the Rayne- Moore University series prior to starting this duet so you can truly appreciate the world and side characters that you will experience in this book.
Now, we jump right back in after the cliffhanger (still haven’t recovered from the first books ending). I love that Ruby wasted no time! My heart rate was pumping reading the first few chapters. This book centers around Sabrina and her husband Maksim and her other significant other/bodyguard (soon to be more) Parker aka Savage. If you read the first book you can already anticipate what’s going to happen. The plot is driven by feminine rage and revenge. Sabrina’s character arc was absolutely beautiful. She is strong, kind and fiercely loyal. She will do anytime to get her husband back and also protect Parker. I kept humming the tune 🎶 “where the hell is my husband” 🎶 the way she stepped up in Maksim’s absent with not only the mafia capos but the Bratva too was giving pure boss b!tch energy. They all respected her. I love a revenge plot and this was so well done!! Oh and sneaking in a Maverick POV!! What?! The way I screamed! I love seeing characters from her other series! Raven and Sabrina’s friendship is true sisterhood! Girls who make their enemies pay together stay together right?!
The spice was so freaking good! The chemistry between her and her men and how they know her so well! Whew! DP and DVP 🔥🥵🔥 yes please!
The trauma each main character has endured was very emotional and I felt very connected to them. Each has different triggers or demons they have to confront and overcome. Damon being there to provide therapy and support was so well done! Ruby made them real and relatable without making them look or feel weak. Especially with Maks as he really struggles after being rescued. I love how they work through everything and come out stronger. There were a lot is secrets unearthed and seeing Sabrina get revenge for those who were wronged was glorious. The ending was perfect. And that epilogue!!! Oh my gosh the way I screamed with excitement! I need more!
If you love dark romance, feminine rage and revenge, why choose/MFM, strong FMC, morally grey men who would do anything for their woman then you will enjoy this book!

This is a dark romance, please check your triggers, your mental health matters.
This is book 2 in the Duchess and Devils duet belonging to an interconnected world. Reading order: Speak, Stutter, Scream, Always, Snap.
The way I needed more Sabrina in my life! Let me tell you I didn’t think I could love her anymore than I already did..but this book! She is the true Duchess. The queen of the mafia. The way she held herself together and not only fought for her men but herself.
Ruby out does herself with each new book. I was floored. Couldn’t put it down. The story flowed, the plot was EPIC and that spice… someone give me a fan, it was too hot up in there.
We jumped right in from the insane cliffhanger in Scream. We see Sabrina truly take over for her men. She will stop at nothing to save them. And I mean NOTHING.
Parker and Maksim truly find their full devotion for Sabrina. You thought the were head over heels last book you just wait.
“Kanedrew Cornelious Burton must die.”
And yes he is back and slimier than ever.
I don’t want to spoil anything for you so just PLEASE when I say jump in I mean it, head first skydiving style.
Hands down a 5 star read and plot filled spicy read.
Thank you to the lovely Ruby M Darling for the opportunity to ARC this amazing ending to your Duchess and Devils duet. I’m truly honored. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
The chemistry between these characters is crazy and i cannot explain how cathartic Sabrina’s revenge arc was. And the way she turned into basically the new pakhan ( or “pecan 😉😂) was so girlboss i loved it. She made maksim proud and she stood by and helped Parker through alot of hard times. What i also loved in this book was the way they portrayed their struggles as a relationship after such a traumatic event. In alot of mafia books they make the leader MMC’s dark , broody and nonchalant. Which is obviously fine and that is what maks was like. But after what he went through Ruby didnt just make him go back to what he was before. His mental health took a bashing and this is extremely realistic. She let her MMC go through therapy without making him look weak and he owned it. Even in their throuple , it all took a massive toll on them. Sabrina was trying her best to help both parker and maksim each in different ways and she was also questioning what their relationship would look like with the “new” maksim.
All in all, this was so good. I read this all in about 4 hours and have absolutely no regrets. I wish we could continue the rayne-moore & duchess & devils series abit longer i dont want it to end!
Also the raven-damon-jonas-maverick sneak peaks were such closure for me! I was so happy to read and see how they were doing. Raven & sabrina were such menaces in this 😂

I swear I have been waiting forever for Snap by Ruby M Darling, and it was worth every second. This newest installment in the Duchess and Devils duet absolutely delivered—and then some. The raw emotion in this book is written so seamlessly that you don’t just read it—you feel it. You’re right there in the chaos, the heartbreak, and the power as it all unfolds. Sabrina is everything we love about her and more—our unapologetic baddie who adjusts her crown and commands both the mafia and the Bratva like the queen she is. Watching her start off broken and rise back into the Duchess she was always meant to be? Unreal. The journey to find Maksi takes us across the ocean and straight into the depths of every character’s demons. And just when you think you have it all figured out—bam. That plot twist hits like a truck. Completely blindsided and still reeling. Getting time again with the Rayne Moore foursome (Raven, Damon, Mav, and Jonas) was the cherry on top. Their presence added even more depth to an already intense story, and I loved seeing how everyone had to confront their pasts to fight for their future. And can we talk about the side characters? The development here was chef’s kiss—I’m already desperate to see what’s next for them. If you’ve been waiting for this book like I have, trust me—you will not be disappointed. Ruby M Darling absolutely snapped with this one.
🎀🩷🖤🎀🩷🖤🎀🩷🖤🎀🩷🖤🎀🩷🖤🎀🩷🖤🎀🩷🖤 The fact that I DEVOURED this book in 24hrs just goes to show you, Ruby puts literal 🧚♀️ dust in her books! SNAP picked up right where SCREAM (Book 1) left off. My heart was in my throat the whole time! Sabrina & Parker are on the hunt to rescue Maksim from being kidnapped. Sabrina had some help from the M@fia and the Bratva, along with many beloved characters from The Tongueless Duet/ Rayne - Moore University to find the King of Brooklyn aka Maksi. I had many hopes and wanted to see a few things play out in this book, RUBY delivered PLUS SOME! 👏The spice to plot ratio was extremely proportional, and if you've read any Ruby books you know she does not disappoint in the SPICE department 🫦 OH and I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book (is there a next book) IYKYK that ending was 🫨 *°•~♡Sidenote: The fact that the friendship between Sabrina & Raven was portrayed so organically in this book made me so happy. 🩷💜
Thank you again Ruby for the opportunity to ARC read for you 🫶🖤😘
This is book two of the duchess and devils series by ruby darling. Book one we were left with a traumatic cliffhanger but there were so many things answered in this book! I usually never bookmark my books but there were so many scenes that had me laughing, crying and swooning that I just had to mark them! Sabrina is such a strong and fierce female character. I loved getting to see more of the dark/mob wife side of her along with her emotions through every chapter in the book. Also getting to learn more about Parker’s back story in the marines helped understand more of the way he is and his past demons. Getting to see Maksim break and see the more emotional side of him instead of the hard tough mafia man he is was amazing. All the emotions from each character I could physically feel myself and it had my emotions all over the place. Ruby captured each scene and character to perfection. The spice was ✨ chefs kiss 💋. Ruby has a way of capturing her readers by the hair and taking us for one heck of an emotional and sometimes steamy roller coaster! We were left on a little cliff hanger but nothing too serious so I’m hoping she will pretty please continue with the story or maybe even a spin off 👀 I can’t wait to see what she comes out with next!
I am obsessed with this series duet! Since finishing Scream, I have been (im)patiently waiting for the second book!! I feel like sometimes it’s hard to beat the first book but let me tell you, Snap blew me away!
This is Sabrina’s story and she’s leaving a trail of fire in her wake! Feminine rage and revenge has never looked so good! She is so strong and independent and owns her shit! She takes no shit from anyone but can be vulnerable and the way Ruby can write that and balance the heavy/lighter aspects - literally amazing!! She’s savage in the best way possible and the way she loves her men - sheeshhh 🥵. Don’t think they wouldn’t burn the world down for her in return though! You don’t want to be on the wrong side of any of them!
I was on the edge of my seat from the start and I couldn’t put it down - if only I didn’t have to adult. One of my favorite parts was Sabrina’s inner monologue!
Such a great “conclusion” of the duet Ruby…but that ending has me like 😅👀🤯! This one will live rent free for a while! The way she can write - it’s one of my favorites! Sabrina rises from the ashes and she’s ready! 1000% recommend this duet! Thank you Ruby for having me as part of your street/arc team!! All opinions are my own!
Ruby Darling didn’t write a book—she created an emotional hostage situation.
As a member of Ruby’s street team, I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of SNAP, Duchess and Devils book two, and let me tell you—it had me completely invested, slightly unwell, and unable to think about anything else until I finished it!
I was so excited to finally discover the outcome of the nail-biting cliffhanger that SCREAM left us with. From start to finish, I was completely wrapped up in Sabrina, Parker, and Maksim’s journey—and maybe a little stressed along the way.
I absolutely love Sabrina and the total badass she is! Ruby did an incredible job with her character development, and of course, with her men, Maksim and Parker. And the spice? Well, we all know Ruby has a way of making hearts race, knees weak, and “pink parts” wet. 😮💨😮💨
This story consumed me from the very first page, and I didn’t put it down until I reached the end. It’s the kind of book that sticks with you long after you finish, and I already know I’ll be diving back in when the audiobook releases.
All I’m saying is this: clear your schedule before starting SNAP. Once it gets its hooks into you, there’s no turning back.
If you thought Raven was fierce? You aren’t ready for Sabrina. There is a reason why they are best friends. She’s determined to get her husband back by any means necessary. It shows tremendous strength to do what she did. I know Maks referred to her as seeming weak in Scream (before getting to know her), but if you thought there was any truth to it, Snap will prove you wrong. She fought through every panic attack and fought through every touch. Ruby captured the essence of how hard it is to go through one situation and all be on different sides of it. They all clearly love each other and want to be there for each other, but they don’t know how. My heart broke for Sabrina when she finally got her husband back but wasn’t sure if she would ever get him back mentally. She gave it everything she had and then was going to allow him to break her despite having put herself together not too long prior. So many parts of this book are stuck in my head and keep playing on repeat. My personal favorite? Parker asking her what Maksim calls her. "Pretty girl" was my favorite part of Scream, and for Snap Ruby outdid herself. I know the story is over, but I'm going to hold out hope that we get a novella later down the line.
After the absolute cliffhanger of book one, I can safely say we were absolutely treated to a wild ride in this book!
Sabrina, Parker and Maksim’s team undergo a massive operation to save Maksim from Sabrina’s past stalker/abuser. The emotions this took us through was intense and I definitely sobbed once they found Maksim, he came back as a shell of himself but with the help of Sabrina, Parker and even Damon, we know he’ll make it back to normal.
This had tension, angst, and I absolutely LOVED the crossover we get with Raven and her men but that CLIFFHANGER?! RUBY?! You and I need to talk 🫣😩😮💨

Ruby immediately throws you into the deep, drifting with the current and damn was it crushing! What a delicious way to end this duet!
Seeing Sabrina all possessive and in control while being in dangerous situations had me squealing and feeling a whirlwind of emotions. I was living for it! She came into her own and the revenge was SO sweet!
Oh Parker, the faithful bodyguard, not even getting seriously wounded would stop him from loving Sabrina the way she needed. While dealing with his inner demons, he'd make sure the devils that had Maksim would pay no matter the cost. This made me love him more.
Maksim, the loyal husband, I really feared for him every moment with him made my heart race in suspense. The unwavering belief knowing Sabrina and Parker would come for him and rain hell on those who would stop them. Still a fighter, through and through!
The multiple POVs made it all the more suspenseful and immersive. The detail within the chapters was fantastic! It was like I was there alongside the characters. Ruby didn't fail bringing the spice and love to the glamor!
