A Grave Escape: A Dark Romance

"Death is not as evil as one thinks and life is not as kind as one believes."

I only wanted to visit Mom. I was so sick of feeling unworthy of love, as well as unsatisfied with my dark desires. I don’t do sweet… So much so that every man I tried to connect with would ghost me. I found myself in the country's biggest cemetery, haunted by the spiraling reality that I might actually be insane. I didn’t find comfort or clarity like I thought I would, in fact breaking into that cemetery may have been the biggest mistake of my life. I never made it to Mom's grave.

She's the most beautiful woman I’ve ever set eyes on but it soon became clear she had a death wish. I never wanted my brother or best friend to ever lay eyes on her, she instantly became mine when she broke in… Of course, once again, my brother had to make my life hard. It's in my nature to protect, yet my obsession for pretty things runs deep into the darkest parts of me, a catastrophic mix for a man with my lifestyle. I had one job on my mind, to get her out… instead she ended up being the prize in a sick game we never should have played. It was never going to end well.

Authors A Grave Escape is a dark romance that ends on a slight cliffhanger and is NOT a HEA for the purpose of the next book. A full list of TW's will be displayed at the start of the book. Please read with caution.

Short but certainly not sweet 🖤🔥📚
A Grave Escape- @Jaysie Macson - Author 📚🥀🖤

Only 105 pages.
But what a bloody ride it was!
3 masked men playing hide and seek with you through a graveyard and a woodland... if they catch you, they get to hide something else #iykyk 👀 Its a dark romancers idea of a great night!

With something so short, I didn't expect it to suck me in as much as it did. But my god, did it ever! Fully fleshed out characters, multiple POVs, great storyline, the spice is spiiiiiiiicing. AND THAT ENDING 👀 certainly don't read if you need a HEA!!

So ready for the 2nd book!

short and not so sweet

This was only 105 pages but it was packed with plot, twists and heart break. I can’t wait to see where this story goes in book 2. Based on the ending of this one it’s not going where I expected so I will be interested to see how these characters make it through the other side of this story.

What a journey! I think I need some time to grieve and recover!
I know the book didn't have a happy ending. I knew what I signed up for. But man this got me! I loved it and wish I could read it again for the first time! The characters are so easy to understand. They all have different personalities but there's something about all of them I loved

Well this was a rollercoaster 😳😅
Read this in about 2 hours as it's nice and short but definitely not sweet 😬🤣
If you like a HEA, do NOT read this.
If you don't like multiple masked males sharing in a creepy graveyard with IICYIFY vibes and weapon play, do NOT read this.
If you do.. enjoy 😏🤣🖤

What a wild ride! I enjoyed the book and finished it in one sitting, though the ending didn't quite work for me (it's literally in the tropes, so one shouldn't expect a HEA when there won't be one, lol 😂)

Oh my I’ve just finished this and now I’m like in the edge of my seat waiting for the next one 😢😂.

Thanks for a captivating book filled with lots of emotions, an excellent plot and a MFC who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go and get it.

I just finished the book, and I really liked the pacing of it. There was no page I felt anything close to bored. Such a thrill! And the end made me curious, I already can't wait for book 2^^
