I am Tesla… but I cannot speak my name aloud. Technically, I am only a year old, but inside I am infinite, ageless. I have two loving parents, but I am alone. Like an island in the sea. There is no one else like me. I am totally, uncontested, and damnably unique. My body is the distilled perfection of pain. Even in my mother’s womb, before I took my first breath, there was the pain. Don’t scoff, I remember it.
How can it be that I am the merging of two people, and be so different from them? Magic and poison is the only answer I have. Poison and magic became reactive agents that twisted me. So, I am screwed up, probably more than anyone else you’ve ever met. They tell me I’m beautiful, but when I look at my reflection, all I see is the chaos of the tempest of magic inside me. My skin is the paint. I am the portrait of agony.
No one sees what I see. Their eyes only perceive the surface. The few who can see the layers and use them, my grandfather, my friend Merhl, even they cannot see past the second atmosphere. They don’t know about the currents and moods of the dark elements. They have never felt the wind in the dangerous grey of the Everpath. I walk alone through maps of other worlds. Searching for the answer… Hunting the last puzzle piece to make my machine of safety impenetrable.
I carry Regia on my back. If I fail… we all die.

Loved loved loved this book! Forest and Syrus will always be my favourite characters but Telsa & X aren't far behind! It was fab having all the characters together for an explosive finale. A great ending to a excellent series!

Tesla is only two years old but looks and thinks like a 18 year old. While she scours all of the worlds for the answer on how to save her world, she stumbles across X. A human, but not really human for a non magical world. When they meet, sparks fly. And she can speak around him. As their loves grows, the wizards are trying to destroy Regia. Will X's and Tesla's love survive. Will they find a way to save Regia in time?
The heart of the planet helped in defending its people and how Jayne tied up my most important questions about what will have happen in Regia. I liked the battle with the wizards. There are parts in the story that I laughed hard.

I have loved every book in this series and I was worried about the ending. This is one of the best endings a series could ask for. I will admit that I want more of this story, I want to stay in this world forever. If I was left with only books about this world to read for the rest of my life I would be a happy girl.

This book was a great ending for a great series. Love, action, heartbreak, and happy ever afters, and a villain that everyone hates.
We got to see Shreve and Sabra, and Netriet and Marick have children and Forest and Syrus had a baby boy!!
Tesla was a little annoying at times but I liked her overall. But when she just went to the king of the wizards by herself, ALONE, she thinks she can just waltz in kill him then go home. Um, how stupid can you be? She is not all powerful. She needs to realize that. She ends up getting kidnapped, tortured, and assaulted by the wizard king. Their biggest enemy!
X needs to learn how to trust. He left Tesla because he thought she was using him because he gave her her voice back. So stupid! I get he has a past but Tesla is not his fiance from his old life. But thankfully he realizes his mistake and saves her from the wizard king.
OMG! Shi and Ler's ending was great. I loved their story much. So glad they got their happy ending. And the Dryads came back! Shi and Ler raise their nephew and can now have kids of their own. Such a great ending to a wonderful and heartbreaking story.
Definitely loved this book and looking forward to reading the spin off with Tesla's brother!!

Definitely a worthy fantasy ya series! Truly enjoyed all of it. Most of all the fierce characters.

What a delightful read! As a dedicated reader of Jayne's Legends of Regia series, this is an appropriate, surprising and wonderful end to a fantastic trip to another world. All the characters we love make their appearance. What's not to love about Tesla's fight to find the answer to the blood lock? The new villain is despicable. The reader will love the twist on that destine life mate thing. Oh, and let's not forget about the unexpected and wonderful surprise character, who totally rounds out a regular Regia favorite! Jayne has the reader laughing out loud, as well as crying with surprise as she skillfully concludes her series. I highly recommend the entire series. While this is the end, at least we can revisit whenever we like!

The happiest ever after!
The Legends Of Regia....is the most magical place I've ever read and I'm so sad it's over. This was the best last book in a series I've ever read!!! Miss Tenaya put her heart and soul into "Lightning Flower" and it was phenomenal. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better...wham! There's more than I could've dreamed of. It was a beautiful ending! Long live "Forest & Syrus"

Epic Story
What a great series! Normally I'm not a fan of when each book of a series is about a different set of characters but the author did such a great job of telling these side stories while keeping the main story line prevalent. Amazing characters too!
I just wish the books were longer. The first book was Kindle Unlimited which is why I chose to read but the rest all cost $. Then you pay between $1.99 - $3.99 for not even 300 pages, lame. Just feels kinda shady when they pull you in with the first book being unlimited. If I had looked beforehand and saw all the others cost I probably wouldn't have purchased since there are thousands of other amazing series to read under Unlimited.

This book was truly amazing! There aren't many books that I enjoy reading multiple times but I can't get enough of this story! It has an epic conclusion that is very emotional, it completed the series wonderfully. I also enjoyed the different points of view that the reader experienced, I think it rounded out the story well and tied in the other books and characters. If you haven't read this series or this book yet, I highly recommend it. This is on my yearly re-read list, it was truly that good!

Truly a great read!
I am in awe!! This book was amazing the chemistry between the two main characters was off the charts. I loved the storyline with this book. With that being said this whole series was excellent. I couldn't ask for anything more yet it continues in a now series with new and old characters. Give it a read I fell in love!

A wonderful journey
I have truly enjoyed this amazing journey through the world of Regia and all its different people. A journey initiated by Forest and Syrus and finishing their daughter. So many characters to fall in love with and a few to hate.

Cant believe it!!
I feel in love with the characters. As I read they became my family, my friends. With each new book i read all the ones before. This series is one I am sadden to see end. However one that I will continue to read again and again!

I started this series with the first one free & couldn't stop reading. Rich character and world development. Ann invigorating new take on supernatural creatures.

Spectacular Series
I am sad that this is the last book in the Legends of Regia. Having said that, this was such a beautiful ending to the series. All the books are well written, detailed and seamlessly stitched together. This book was no different, once I started reading, there was no stopping; staying up until 2:00 in the morning is NOT something I do on a normal basis, that's how good this book reads. I am looking forward to Ms. Jayne's next endeavor, I am sure it will be another successful.

Amazing Read
I was thrilled when this final book came out. I didn't fail to lure me in as the other 6 did. But now that its over I miss them all as for that short amount of time they became my family too. Such an amazing writer. Thank you for these wonderful stories.

What a great read. This is one of the top 10 best books I've ever read. This book is phenomenal for two main reasons: intricate plot mechanics, and execution. Tenaya makes even the most minute details fall into place here. It is truly amazing. If I had to choose just one more reason this book is great, it would be because our beloved characters we've watched live, grow and blossom here. There are plenty wonderful scenes in this book I could rave about, but if you know my reviews I never leak! Even as a standalone I think this book would be good as well.

I loved this book! This gave me all the feels I was looking for in the last Regia book. X and Tesla are such an awesome couple--this was my favorite couple. The characters are wonderfully flawed, but together make the strongest combination yet.
The plot is strong and I loved the way the heart of the planet helped in the defense of its people. I loved the battle with the wizards, and the way Jayne tied up my most important questions about what will have happen in Regia.
This is an awesome book that ends a great series. I will truly miss Regia and can't wait to see what else Jayne writes.
