Ten years ago, I made a deal with the devil. And now my soul is as damned as his.
By day, I wear the badge. Pledge allegiance to my brothers in blue. By night, I wear a gun at my back and more blood on my hands than I’ll ever scrub clean, standing shoulder to shoulder with the very men that badge was meant to destroy. It’s a problem.
Especially now that Gracie Donovan is back in town.
The woman who’s got a blood-tie to the men who’ve spent the last decade torturing me. Who’s as wild as the flowers inked onto her skin, as venomous as the snake coiled around her thigh. She crashed into my life armed with a threat sharp enough to ruin me if I don’t help her.
I keep forgetting I’m supposed to be the good guy. That I’ve ended up on the wrong side of all this. And Gracie? I can’t tell if she’s bringing me up for air or pulling me deeper into her world.
But from where I’m standing, maybe being pulled in isn’t such a bad thing when it’s her hands dragging me down.
Wrong Side of Right is the third book in the Soldiers of Sin series, which follows a notorious outlaw motorcycle club based in small-town Ontario. They hurt. They kill. They know how to hide a body. Threaten their family, way of life, or their women, and you might just end up in buried. Literally.
Kelsey Elizabeth Wood a independent Canadian author who writes steamy romance novels with smokin’ hot, dirty-talking book boyfriends and feisty female leads.
As a native to Northern Ontario, she’s snowed in six to eight months a year, and during these cold, treacherous times, you can usually find her sequestered in her office or at her kitchen table, coffee in hand, where she writes profusely about magic, post-apocalyptic wastelands, bad ass bikers with hearts of gold, and men in all shades of morally grey.
She lives with her husband and her two small parrots, who enjoy screaming profusely any time she sits down to write (her birds, not her husband), and when she’s not writing, you’ll typically find her lost in a book, or binge watching some mid-2000s procedural crime drama with an enemies-to-lovers subplot.
“I will always fucking come for you, Gracie. There isn’t a corner of this earth I wouldn’t drag you back from. I’ll always find you. I’ll always protect you.”
I love the uniqueness of this MC series, where the MC are actually the bad guys, instead of good guys playing bad. It makes them complex characters, gives their motives depth.
And this book was interesting, with the crossover in how they were connected. There is history there and it wasn’t all good. But they’re both fiery enough to make their dynamic work. I loved their chemistry. I loved their vulnerability with each other. I loved the blackmail.
I took a star off because I wish it had just a little more insight into their everyday. I wanted just a few more scenes sprinkled in to help build out the background.
Can’t wait to see how the next book plays out. Here’s hoping it isn’t three years until then!
What a ride!!! The enemies to lovers and animosity and HEAT these two have are insane!!! Cop x biker chick with so many connections and secrets and surprise this will have you on the edge of your seat and reeled in! You just have to read it but I loved them!!! The storytelling and writing is so good! Mc romance can toe a line of enjoyable and over the top but this was perfect!!!
ate this book up like my last meal!! KEW is a fantastic MC romance author. Her writing is beautiful and I love the world she has built! Loved the dynamic between these two Wish we could of seen more from the couples from books 1 and 2
5 stars for Officer Decker and Gracie Donovan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book was the highlight of my April. I cannot even put into words how much I loved Wrong Side of Right. Linc and Gracie's story had me in a serious chokehold!!
I love Grace Donovan. I love her with my whole heart. She was fierce, fiesty, had a mouth on her and never backed down. I really felt for Grace, she felt like she had no family, she felt alone. She just wanted to find that place where she belonged. I loved how mean she was to Decker. He deserved it 😂! I love Linc. Yes he was the biggest a**høle to Gracie but I love him. He was intense and he just wanted to uphold his morals. Poor dude couldn't catch a break. I loved seeing him with Gracie. At first it starts off filled with hate, anger and Aimee serious tension but the emotions between these two develop into something so freaking beautiful 🥹. God, the spice??? It ate me right up🫠🫠🫠🫠! I loved it. The hand necklaces?!?! Yup. Hot. I loved seeing Triss, Kat, Jack, Axe, Bex and of course my obsessions Preacher & Tex 🫶.
I read this story at a snails pace. I didn't want it to end ever. I literally read one chapter every couple of hours because I wasn't ready to say goodbye. I was completely sucked into their story from beginning to end and Wrong Side of Right is definitely on my list of top reads for 2026! I just finished watching Sons of Anarchy and this book was the perfect companion. Kelsey's writing is pure perfection. I felt every emotion I possibly could while reading. Her characters have depth and I love how passionate they are.
Officer Lincoln Decker has just added himself to my book husband list, along with Jack & Axe. And I know they don't have books YET! But Preacher, Tex and Bane are also on that list. These men are protective of their women and they love so fiercely. I am a permanent Sinner Sister at this point! I am obsessed with them and after that ending I cannot wait for the next Soldiers of Sin book.
Thank you so much to Kelsey Elizabeth Wood for the opportunity to read an ARC🖤.
Decker and Gracie completely had me. Decker was a true gray character, just how I like them… layered, complicated, and a full-blown asshole for a solid portion of the book and I love that Kelsey committed to that instead of softening him too fast. Because even though he was soft for Grace, his assholeness still carried throughout to keep his double life persona.
Gracie was just as compelling. She was strong and willing to burn her whole world down if that’s what it took to protect herself, but underneath that she was lonely. Her desire to just be seen and treated like she belonged with her brothers hit hard. I wanted to hug her more than once 🥺
I also really appreciated that they didn’t “hide” their relationship from her brothers, Decker just owned what was happening between them at the appropriate time.
And I love when stories don’t tie everything up in a perfect little bow. The messiness made it feel more authentic which pulled me in even more.
This was one of those books I genuinely couldn’t put down. I was stealing little reading moments all day AND night. Completely sucked me in from the very beginning and I’m already desperate to get back into this world.
Soliders of Sin is one of my favorite series. Hands down. This read was as amazing as the first 2 books in this series. Completely worth the wait.
Gracie and Decker. He is good cop turned "bad" cop on the MC payroll (and doesn't want to be), she is the MC princess who is running away from a very shady and dangerous past. It is a power struggle between these two, from the minute they lock eyes on each other - and it is a battle of epic proportions. SO MUCH TENSION. They are constantly trying to find the weaknesses and vulnerabilities in each other, just to get a foothold on blackmailing and moving ahead. However, the unexpected outcomes of seeing each other's weak points - you become each other's solace and comfort.
This was a very emotional read, wrapped in a framework of MC wars, police brutality and complicated (COMPLICATED!!) MC family dynamics. Each of these characters is fighting so much baggage while they try to survive the present. It was a really complex, nuanced and sexy read - elevated by some really great writing.
This is a must read for those MC aficionados who like layered characters and scorching chemistry.
This series just keeps getting better and better! The Wrong Side of Right is super fast-paced, with tons of action and family drama. Such fantastic writing and a complex plot that will keep you glued to the end of the story. It was hard for me to even put it down to take a break! These characters will suck you in. Our FMC has grown up rough and is definitely of the fake it until you make it school of thought. If you like morally gray heroines with attitude problems, you'll eat it right up, lol. Love me a bad-🍑 beesh and her relationship with the MMC is made even better by the fact that he's a cop and they have a long, interwoven and complicated past.
I would not recommend reading this as a standalone. All the books in the series are fantastic, so you're not losing out by having to read the other ones first. It's hard to believe these are her first books - they're that damn good. I can't wait to see who is up next. The Wrong Side of Right is definitely going in the my Faves of 2026 pile!
🖤Wrong Side of Right🖤 Kelsey Wood is my favorite MC romance author—no debate, no notes. And if you know me, you know I read a lot of biker books.
This is book 3 in the Soldiers of Sin series. Technically a standalone… but why would you rob yourself of the first two when they’re absolute brain-chemistry-altering, can’t-stop-thinking-about-them kind of reads?
Hot cop. Biker baddie. Tipsy texting. Kissing in the rain. Filthy-delicious spice (the extremely explicit kind 👀). An EPIC love story. And yes—violence, chaos, and tension because it’s Kelsey’s world and we’re just lucky to survive it.
And the hero? Badge, cuffs… and knows exactly how to use them. Enough said. You need this book. Actually… need feels too casual a word to use. ;)
I was in a two-month reading slump and this snapped me right out of it. Highlighted half the book because somehow she makes outlaws read like poetry. It’s gritty, it’s emotional, it’s explosive.
If Kelsey Wood writes it, I’m reading it. Re-reading it. And talking about it until everyone else is too.
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book, and it did not disappoint! If you haven’t yet taken a ride with the Soldiers of Sin, now is the time. Although Wrong Side of Right can be read as a standalone, you are missing out by not reading books 1 and 2 first. Kelsey takes you on a rollercoaster ride through her MC world. You can’t help but fall in love with every biker MMC she creates. First Jack, then Axe, and now Linc. The enemies to lovers story she tells through Linc and Gracie keeps you on your toes from start to finish. The more toxic they are, the better they are. Everything about this book, and the entire series, is worth it and then some. Let’s face it…we all a need a little Lincoln Decker in our lives.
3.25 stars. Well…I liked these two mains more than Kat and Axel (book 2), but the surrounding drama was all a bit much for me. Gracie was extremely selfish and shortsighted which was unfortunate because she was also stronger than most h’s in this genre. Lincoln was living a life ruled by guilt and blackmail and his motivations were hard to figure out. Both of their situations didn’t seemed tenable or realistic.
Relationship wise, they seemed to be a good match and to have a strong physical connection but it became repetitive (the throat grabbing, the game playing, etc.).
The flow was a bit choppy. Dual POV became confusing at points. Names at beginning of chapters would have been helpful to know whose head we were in.
Another amazing book in the Soilders of Sin series. The characters just draw you in and then you're hooked. I love the flow of the timeline from one book to another, definitely worth reading them in order. I love the fact you can catch up what has been happening with all the characters from previous books. The spice is spicy 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 # Enemies to Lovers # Biker x Cop
This is my first book in the series that I was so lucky to get to read in advance. But now I’ll sure go back and read the first two books. But I couldn’t wait … I love a good MC romance… it’s one of my favorite tropes!!!
Gracie and Decker story is really really good. There is so much tension but the chemistry is really sizzling. The storyline is really well written and captivating and really really emotional. As I said before, now I have to go back and catch up with the first two books!!!!
I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I loved the first two in the series and this one did not disappoint!! It was so interesting to better understand Linc after his involvement in previous books, and also to get to know Gracie. She's wild in the best way possible...I loved how she constantly rage-baited Linc and found myself laughing out loud with their banter. I highly recommend this series to readers who love morally gray MMCs, unhinged FMCs who take no shit, and motorcycle clubs.
I loooooved the first two books in this series, but this one is my favorite 😫❤️ I’m actually in love with Officer Decker and haven’t stopped thinking about him. Read this asap if you love a little angst with your epic love stories. Come on ladies, let Linc talk you through it!! Thank you, Kelsey, for bringing these characters to life in such a special way. One of my favorite series of all time! 🫶🏻
I don’t even have words to convey how absolute my hate for Grace was..... women deserve better characters than that...
"A war is coming, he said. Because of me. And him. He killed a man for me. We might not exactly be friendly. Or maybe we are, since he knows what my pussy feels like wrapped around his dick, as he so eloquently put it. Regardless, we’re definitely… something. In deep shit, I guess. Together. "
Wrong Side Of Right is book 3 the Soldiers Of Sin series and is Decker (Linc) and Gracie's fantastic story. An MC princess and a cop make for a gritty, messy, intense, consuming story. It's emotional with a lot of uncomfortable topics BUT, it's also one of my favorite reads for the year so far!
