I'm Ken Zeigler, author of the Tears of heaven series. I've been writing stories since junior high school; science fiction short stories mostly. I attended Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, way back when it was still called Shippensburg State College. I hold a masters degree in chemistry, and did my graduate research in quantum mechanics.... I openly profess Jesus Christ to be my personal lord and savior. It wasn't always that way. The change in my life came about as the result of a near death experience when I was eighteen years old, during my freshman year in college. The circumstances of that experience were so remarkable that my life hasn't been the same since. Indeed, for me, the age of miracles has just begun. I have taught chemistry, physics, and astronomy at both the high school and college level. Currently, I teach at University High School in Tolleson, Arizona. During my career in science, I've concentrated mostly on the study of asteroids, the tiny planetoids that circle the sun mainly between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. I have been an educational consultant for NASA on the Messenger Mercury Program. I have a wife who I have been married to for 25 years. I also have two wonderful step-children. My professional writing career didn't officially begin until 1997, with the publishing of my first book; The Waters of Ulan, which was actually an off beat vampire story set in the South Pacific before World War II. Now, I write only books with a Christian theme. Yet, I truly believe that these books will appeal to both Christians and non-Christians alike. Welcome to the new world.
What I most liked about this book is that the information is organized in short, succint chapters that can be read in less than five minutes, to make it easier for the busiest of people to read it at their own pace and convenience. Each chapter provides solid information that can stand on its own.
I genuinely loved this book and it was so inspiring and helpful to me as a high schooler to make me more aware on how I can manage my time with school work and my personal life as well as becoming more organised and overcoming procrastination.
I really recommend high school students / teenagers to read this book because it is somewhat like a checklist for every stage you go through in order to achieve your final outcome or goal. This book was originally written for business owners or employees however there are many many points that are relatable to both high school students and employees that I am certain everyone can benefit from !
Be sure to read it because its truly very inspiring and useful.
Short book, but packed with a variety of information that’s all easy to remember. Gets straight to the point explains how and why without over explaining.
Solid advice but the "veggie" idea is a bit too, ah, cutesy. Quick and easy read with some basic strategy. Only for the person already inclined to be somewhat organized who needs a boost to be even more productive.
This book was an excellent short read. 24 direct lessons that could be implemented. The veggie portion was not needed, but I chalked that up to author personality.
It was pretty... okay? Very objective; to the point. It has some generic ideas, and nothing very deep or thought provoking. Still worth a read, I guess.
