They are step siblings that develop an attraction for each other. Rafail walks away but they reconnect five years later. His father is in prison and her mother is dead. Their path begins and it is an interesting one filled with danger. She has no idea that the present he gave her on her sixteenth birthday also holds information that is detrimental for her. Will their reconnection give them the happiness they are looking for.

This was a great novella. Only regret, wish it was longer. I wanted to know more. But aside from that, it was so good. The twists and turns that were Raf and Hailey kept me invested. Having developed a love for one another as step siblings made things hard. So Raf walked away. But five years later after Hailey had gone into hiding, he finds her. He wants her. Wants to make her his.
This was hot. Spicy. And so good. Totally worth the read.

That she kept her birthday present safe for him is a bonus that is appreciated. Rafail wanted her before but she was too young. I liked how he convinced her to love him back.

A Lost One Found

Shortly after her 16th birthday, the feds arrested her stepfather putting her and her mother in poverty because of the witness protection program. He found her, stalked her, kidnapped her and married her. Another romantic Bratva story ending with a HEA. I'm loving these stories about the stoic mafia men and the women who tame them.

With the timing now right for the last element to fall into place, Rafail makes his move to make Hailey his. Fast-paced. Mafia incident which is still unresolved by the end of the story. Looking forward to reading Andrei & Nina’s story next!
