HIVE : MAX HEAT Dark MM+ Monster Romance

Rate this book
Four men. One abandoned mine. The colony decides who stays.

Griffin Messer has spent two years obsessed with Perdition — an abandoned copper mine in the Arizona mountains where miners disappeared in 1919. When he finally talks his documentary crew into descending, he expects collapsed tunnels, bad air, and maybe the bones of whoever went missing a century ago.

He doesn't expect the amber resin seeping through the walls. The sweetness in the air that gets thicker the deeper they go. The way his sound engineer stops fighting and starts guarding. The way his camera operator begins sketching architecture he's never seen. The way his presenter goes quiet and doesn't come back.

Something lives beneath Perdition. Something ancient, vast, and organized. An insectoid colony that communicates through pheromone and vibration — and whose chemistry doesn't just arouse. It assigns. One man becomes a guardian. One becomes a builder. One dissolves into the swarm. And one — the one the King has been waiting centuries for — becomes a mate.

The pheromones don't create desire. They strip away every reason you had to refuse it.

HIVE is a standalone dark MM+ monster romance featuring explicit content, insectoid creature contact, pheromone-induced role assignment, size difference, non-human anatomy, knotting, a nine-foot King who has never known the word for love but invented a sound that means the same thing, and four formerly straight men who discover that the earth has a use for them. Reader discretion is strongly advised.

This book is not for everyone. It is for you.

Wow

So after reading Feral I was sort of hooked. Decided to read this one next and I never would have expected a book about bee(?) romance to be so deep but this book blew me away. Will continue to read this series.
