Great book. Lots of good information to help when seeking God! A must read for anyone seeking direction or clarity. As I was reading, I realized God was talking and my reception was turned off. Yes I have been going through some chastisement of the Lord. No it does not feel good, but I know he loves me. I am grateful. That is where learning comes from. He says be careful how you hear when he is speaking. I am praying for his forgiveness and believing that he does not take his holy spirit from me and that he continues to lead me and guide me and that I am open to the nudgings of the holy spirit.

I love this book because the author gives specific scripture of the different ways that God spoke to His people. It inspires you to go back to the Bible to bet the full text and a deeper understanding of the message.

Easy to read and understand and practical

Really enjoyed reading this book. It provides easy to understand instructions on how to train yourself to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. Now just need to start applying to my daily walk with the Lord.

I have read several of Mr. Hogue's books and have enjoyed them all except this one. I do not feel that I have anymore clarity in hearing God's voice than I did before reading this book.

Great book to give insight to your walk with Christ. We all need to discover our gifts. This book could help those who struggle to understand their walk, or even battles to under stand th Bible.

An excellent study on hearing God’s voice or the Holy Spirit persona of God speaking to us. We must follow God’s will to receive His blessings. The Holy Spirit is one we expect to guide us in our daily life, if we let Him. One of the best indicators that we are following His will is if we have perfect peace. When we waiver from His will, that perfect peace will fizzle. We can know God’s will by watching the fruit or whether we are getting positive or negative circumstances. If the circumstances are positive, we are probably following God’s will and have heard Him clearly. The study shows many other ways to tell if we are hearing Him clearly.

Easy read

I choose a 3 because it gave me information I had ,but I was looking for a deeper read. I did like the back listing memorization for New & Old to meditate and help finding God's direction, like those before me.

Wanting to know my God more intimately, I choose this book, and was not disappointed! I do recommend this book.
