Two wolf shifters reunite after a steamy night they thought was in the past in this spicy omegaverse romance by USA Today bestselling author Lana Ferguson.

Single mom and omega Ada Langley has been trying—and failing—to forget the sexy alpha from the bar that she went home with six months ago. So when a trip to the tattoo shop means being surprised by none other than that same alpha, she’s understandably thrown for a loop. Afraid to risk her feelings on an alpha again after one left her heart shattered, Ada wants to keep that night a secret—and in the past.

After years of apprenticing in New York, alpha wolf Levi Madden has moved back to his hometown to open a tattoo shop. He’s done his best to let go of that night with the omega from the bar, but he can’t shake the lasting impression she left before disappearing the morning after. When Levi’s aunt recruits his artist alter ego to help save her gallery—the very same one where Ada works—fate gives him a chance to get to know Ada for real this time and, if he’s lucky, win her over.

Working together while trying to avoid the growing feelings that took root all those months ago proves difficult, but with every moment spent together, it becomes obvious that Levi is perfect for Ada in every way. Even as guarded as Ada is, it’s not long before they both start to wonder if their chance encounter has led them to their soul mate.

thank you so much to netgalley for this arc!!

i am so sad to see this series end! this one was so, so fun (just like the rest), and i read it in about 2 minutes (also, just like the rest). it was such an easy, fun read and i found myself getting super invested in ada and levi and their relationship

i will say- there was definitely a little bit of an insta love/insta lust situation going on, and some of the soulmate/fated mate stuff was a little cheesy, but honestly it worked for me for majority of this book. if you’re looking for boy-obsessed, you are most certainly going to get it in this book (to an extreme extent).

i thought the chemistry between our two main characters was also really good - levi was very easy to root for, and overall their relationship just felt really enjoyable to read about.

i think what i liked most was how comforting and entertaining this felt. it wasn't trying to be overly complicated, it just gave me a cute romance with plenty of feelings, some angst, a good amount of spice and two characters i genuinely liked. definitely a solid four star read for me and i would definitely recommend this series!!

There's something so comforting about reading a love story where the couple is so obviously *meant to be.*

Lana Ferguson does it again! She somehow turned a questionable insta-lovey into a beautiful love story that kept me entertained the entire time. As I mentioned, I was not a fan of how this book started out. The insta-love/infatuation didn't sit well with me because there was no time for chemistry to develop. It felt very dry because we didn't even get a single paragraph to get to know the characters before their obsession with each other started. However, I was able to look past it because the rest of the story was so heartwarming and comforting.

Ada is a single mom Omega and Levi is a tattoo artist Alpha. I obviously loved the Alpha x Omega pairing because their attraction is so biological. It made them both go feral for each other and I was so here for it.
But with these dynamics in play, I would have loved more Omegaverse world building. As a seasoned Omegaverse reader, my favorite part of reading these dynamics is the world building. I love to learn the different biological intricacies and how they plays out socially for wolf-shifters. It briefly touched on some of the stereotypes and stigmas of being an Omega and the same for being an Alpha, but I would have loved for it to go into more detail. It didn't even talk about Betas! This book was really simplistic in that way, but maybe I just read too much fanfiction 🤷🏻‍♀️ But I would say this is a good book to read if you want to dip your toes into the Omegaverse universe.

Anyway, Lana did a great job with the Fated Mates concept, a.k.a. your Soul Mate. It definitely made this book really sweet. Ada and Levi were SO MEANT TO BE it almost hurt! And the single mom trope worked really well here, it added some conflict that kept me at the edge of my seat.

Overall, this book is perfect for fans of Lana and the Omegaverse! Although the insta-love beginning was not my cup of tea, the rest of the book was really enjoyable.

firstly, thank you to the publisher for an arc!

yup cannot wait to devour another omegaverse from lana ferguson... but it’s so bittersweet because the soul mate is the last in the series 😭

the soul mate revolves around single mom ada who works at an art gallery and tattoo artist levi, who have a one night stand when ada is in nyc. she ends up leaving levi without saying goodbye, despite the energy felt between them.

fast forward and levi appears at the art gallery ada works at, introduced to her by her boss as her favorite contemporary artist…

while i really enjoyed all the books in this series — how could i not?? they’re all so sexy — the fake mate was just top tier.

i especially loved the character cameos from the first two books!

not to mention, i’m super excited for her next project, which i saw a sneak peak of at the end of this book 👀

Ada never expected one night with a stranger to turn into something she couldn’t forget. Six months later, Levi is suddenly back in her life, and what starts as an attraction neither of them can shake quickly becomes something much deeper, forcing Ada to decide if she’s willing to risk opening her heart again.

I absolutely LOVE Levi. This man was so down bad from the beginning that I was obsessed. Six whole months later and he STILL couldn’t forget Ada, only for them to run into each other again and then she finds out he’s the nephew of her boss?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Fate was practically screaming. I just KNEW these two were soulmates. And Levi was not casually interested. This man was astronomically, catastrophically DOWN BAD. I also loved how honest and upfront he was about his feelings. There was no guessing where this man stood 🙂‍↕️🤚🏼

Ada took a little longer for me to warm up to because she was pretty closed off, but once I understood why, it made so much sense. I loved watching her realize she couldn’t keep putting everyone in the same box as the people who had hurt her. She had to take a chance, knowing that opening yourself up can lead to hurt, but also so much beauty and happiness. 🫶🏼

if you know me you know that i’m basically NEVER an instalust girl... so the beginning was a little rough for me. BUT I understood it more given the circumstances here. And I really enjoyed watching them get to know each other afterward. That buildup was what I needed. I still struggled with how incredibly fast everything moved though, especially on Levi’s side. There were definitely some unrealistic moments 🤷🏼‍♀️ I also don't really know a lot about the Omegaverse and was kinda nervous going into this, but it was pretty simple. there were a few things i wasn't familiar with but it wasn't overwhelming at all

I appreciated that this felt more low-drama and was such an easy book to sail through. I especially loved Ada’s relationship with her mom, her boss, and Tess. She had such a good support system, and I loved watching Levi show her that she didn’t have to take care of everything alone anymore. 🥹

Overall, I really enjoyed this one! I had some issues with the pacing and believability, but Levi being completely and utterly OBSESSED made it worth it 🙂‍↕️

Thank you so so much to Lana Ferguson, Berkley, and Netgalley for the EARC!

Oh my gosh this book was so spicy and sweet 🤭. The couple was so adorable. I love the way that Lana writes fated mates. It’s always perfection and it’s done in a way that feels so genuine and believable. Yes they are wolf shifters but their love and genuine care for each other feels so true. I loved watching them fall in love and support each other. Levi is such a green flag man it’s ridiculous. Hes sweet, supportive, and protective. Ada is just so sweet and just loves her son to death. They just fit together so perfectly.

I love how Lana makes a story with monsters feel so true to real life. The book was so easy to binge and I literally read it in a single day. I loved this whole series but every time I read one of these books I love it even more than the last. I love how she brings real elements in life that I won’t give examples for because I don’t want to spoil anything! But just know her pacing is so good and she does this with such Grace.

The spicy scenes were very very spicy. I mean who doesn’t like a wolf shifters man with tattoos (who’s a tattoo artist) and bonus There is a piercing….👀anywho…just know this book is a 5 star read and I recommend everyone goes to pick up a copy! Loved!

Unfortunately, this one just wasn’t for me. I really wanted to like Soul Mate, but honestly, I struggled with pretty much everything about it.

There was way too much smut for my taste, and it completely overshadowed the actual story and romance. I also couldn’t get into the wolf shifting/omegaverse aspect at all. The shape shifting felt more silly than interesting to me, and I never really connected with that part of the story.

The premise had potential, especially with the second chance romance, single mom, tattoo shop, and soul mate setup, but the execution just didn’t work for me. I kept hoping the story would pull me in, but instead I found myself wanting to get through it.

I know this book will probably work really well for readers who love spicy omegaverse romances, but unfortunately, I am definitely not that reader. 😬

2 stars this one was a miss for me.

I really loved The Fake Mate, so I was definitely excited for The Soul Mate and so happy when I got the ARC! This was such a cute, fun, campy paranormal romance. Was some of it kind of cringe and cheesy, especially when they were in their wolf forms in the woods talking to each other? Yes. Absolutely. But I kind of loved it. The best part was that I feel like it didn't take itself too seriously and it showed.

It was a little too instalust for me, and there was A LOT of spice between Ada and Levi, but I still really enjoyed their story. I loved the whole artist storyline and how the identity was a secret until it wasn't. I also really loved that Ada was a single mom. Her son was so adorable, and I loved how good Levi was with him. I also really liked the storyline with her ex/baby daddy and how everything played out.

My biggest issue was probably the fated mates aspect. I don't think it was explored quite enough, especially since Levi seemed to know Ada was his soulmate while she didn't seem to feel it at all and spent so much time resisting it. I wish we had gotten more of that connection from both of them.

I do think this book was fun, spicy, and such a good palate cleanser when you need something light and entertaining and just a good and fun romance, especially a paranormal romance. I definitely enjoyed it, but I still think the The Fake Mate is better!

Thank you to NetGalley, Lana Ferguson, and Berkley for the eARC of this book.

It’s the final chapter of this fun, smutty, flirty, knotty, shifter romance series and as this last couple gets a little softer, moves impressively quicker, and feels somewhat hornier, we are treated to another enjoyable tale of a woman who dares to love and a man who dives headfirst and loves harder.

As the general stance of hard yearning and sure footed devotion is the bar we set for these fictional men, Levi does not fail to provide in wolfy leaps and bounds. What Ada considers baggage is something he sees as a welcome weight that he asks, nay BEGS to carry the load of, and we love that.

With Ada being a single Mom and having experienced trauma at the hands of a past relationship with an Alpha, the tones felt a touch more serious and weighty this time, and Levi rises to the challenge to make her feel safe and secure and that softness is so cozy how could you not SWOON!! The big bad wolf of her ex (who is a DOUCHE) is no match for their happily ever after, so BUZZ OFF LOSER.

Then in true Lana Ferguson fashion, sparks were nearly a fire hazard as these two were feral for one another. Consistent spice throughout. Hot, wet, knotty. You know the drill. Brava once again lady, you make shifter romance seem essential and inevitable and real. It’s all important plot baby. 🪢🪢🪢

Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing Group for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was my first Lana Ferguson book and I honestly can't believe I haven't read her books sooner! It was cozy, yet surprisingly spicier than I expected (no complaints!). There was no third act breakup and was written in dual-POV, which is my favorite. This was written in modern day but where werewolves are an accepted species among society. Ada is on a work trip in New York and has a memorable one-night stand with Levi, a tattoo artist who is really an artist going by a pseudonym. He's prepared for more, but she disappears the morning after. Fast forward 6-months, Ada is at her art curator job in Orange County and is told that the company might be in trouble. The owner brings in her nephew so he can have a showing and bring in business and lo and behold: IT'S LEVI. They're of course stunned to see each other, and they can't help but think that it's fate. Levi is all for pursuing more with Ada, but Ada has baggage that makes it hard for her to be open to a relationship. Levi is an alpha, Ada is an omega, and she has past trauma with alphas. But Levi is such an earnest, steady, sweet alpha and eventually wears her down. It's hidden behind his bad boy persona and all the tattoos. But his filthy mouth... WHEW. He can definitely give lessons.

There's apparently more books in this werewolf-y world; I'm definitely going to check them out!

lana ferguson’s latest novel (and last installment in the fake mate series) will be a hit with the right crowd, but for me this was good, not great.

starting with the pros, the soul mate has all the markings of a fab lana ferguson romance - the spice is good and the writing is witty and fun. there were plenty of cute, quippy moments between our main characters that kept me reading and interested.

the cons — at least for me — really center on the single mom trope. i have a very hard time loving a smutty book and its plot/characters when a six year old keeps popping into frame. it takes me out of the story and honestly makes me feel a little cringe reading the next intimate scene, especially when there’s the whole “shh be quiet don’t wake anyone up” schtick going on. maybe the single mom thing works for others but for me it kind of ruins the vibe. i also thought the main conflict with Perry’s birth father just resolved and went poof into thin air. i would’ve liked to have explored the conflict more, tbh, but at the same time it makes sense that the whole custody issue resolves the way it did. overall, there could’ve been more plot throughout the entire book instead of little side plots and characters that were dropped along the way.

tropes
- single mom
- fated mates
- omegaverse/shifting
- tattooed mmc
- one night stand

The Soul Mate is such a cute third, and I believe final, book in Lana Ferguson’s Omegaverse series! 🐺💕

It’s a cute, quick read with another classic Omegaverse trope, and I love seeing these kinds of stories become traditionally published with a contemporary twist. This one is a play on the Fated Mates trope, just like the other two, so you get all the spice that comes with it along with plenty of sweetness.

Definitely pick this one up if you enjoyed the first two! I’m really hoping Lana continues to write more stories in this world (or something similar) because I’m not ready to leave it yet! ✨

Levi and Ada meet at a bar and have one glorious night together. Levi has been wondering why Ada walked out on him, but with a move back to his hometown, he can’t really deal with it… until the day that she walks into his tattoo shop. They’re both keeping secrets, but they can’t seem to stay away from each other. Also, they’re both shifters, but that really has nothing to go with the overall story. This fated mates romance was frivolous at best and cringey at worst. The dialogue was especially hard to read. Ada couldn’t give a compliment without saying “I think we both know” first; “I think we both know what you look like,” is not a compliment on appearance. It was also extremely repetitive. The constant asking out and rejection, the constant “why me,” and the actual verbatim conversations that are repeated multiple times were too much to take. This would have fared better as a short story.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thank you to Berkley for an ARC of The Soul Mate by Lana Ferguson.

This was the conclusion of her omegaverse series. I was so so sad to say goodbye to this cast of characters. We finally get Ava’s story this book! We were introduced to her in the Mating Game.

Ava is a single mom who is still healing from an abusive relationship, that ends up having a one night stand with Levi, the MMC. Levi and Ava’s connection was electric from the start. Lana really leaned into the fated mates aspect in this book. I could have really bad memory (I do) but I don’t remember her giving so many explanations. That made me lovee this book! I wanted to learn more about the fated mate system in her universe and it be more up front.

Levi and Ava’s relationship is the epitome of boy down BAD. He did not give up and I loved it. He really knew what he wanted and he was not going to stop until he had her.

As the conclusion to this series, it was nice to end with all three couples and seeing where everyone was. Levi and Ava’s was a sweet story to read unfold and this book was spicy spicy spicy. So if you’re looking for knotting galore, scenting, heats, and mating bites then the Soul Mate delivers on all fronts.

If you love:

☀️ fated mates
☀️ one night stand
☀️ he falls first & hard
☀️ single mom

Then make sure to preorder and read when this comes out! Thank you again!

Tropes: Paranormal Romance, Omegaverse, Fated Mates, Insta Lust, If He Wanted To He Would, Cinnamon Roll MMC, He Falls First, One Night Stand, No Third-Act Breakup

I am usually hit or miss with Lana Ferguson books, and this one was more of a hit than a miss for me. Although not one of my favorites of hers, it still kept me entertained and captivated, and I finished this one quickly.

We have Ada, our FMC and omega, who has a one-night stand with our MMC, Levi, an alpha. She leaves him the next day, and Levi is crushed, but Ada has been hurt by an alpha before, and she has her son to think about. Fate brings them together several months later, and right away you can tell neither of them has stopped thinking about the other, especially Levi. He is so down bad for Ada from the beginning. Like, actually a love-sick puppy. I was here for it. He also is made of green flags.

I loved that Levi knew what he wanted and went after it, but in a way that still made Ada feel safe. After what she has been through, I think Levi was exactly what she needed. Someone who communicates their wants and needs, is open and upfront, and tells her exactly what he needs. He provides so much validation and love for her that it is hard to resist.

I will say the spicy scenes were spicy, just think typical omegaverse spice and you’re there. Like most of her books, there was a ton of smut. I ended up skimming through several of the smut scenes because it was just too much and too much of the same over and over. But that is how I always have been with her books.

The third-act conflict comes, but instead of running, Levi doubles down and proves to Ada that she and her son are what he wants in life. I loved how supportive he was of her and how he immediately tried to help her. The only thing for me in this book was that their love, because it was a fated mates trope, almost felt too simple and fairy tale-like for me. She resisted in the beginning, but not for long, and then it was just a matter of time.

Overall, this was a smutty omegaverse romance read that I finished quickly and enjoyed the easy love and support between these two.

✦Basics
MF standalone connected to The Mating Game
It starts with a bang; Ada is visiting NYC with a friend and Levi is drawn to her and her scent from across the bar, as if connected by a thread. He’s already planning what comes next before he falls asleep and is crushed when he wakes up alone.
❝I’m momentarily frozen by the picture she paints … She looks like every fantasy I never knew I had. Like every desire I could ever hope for. And she’s fucking mine. For tonight, at least.❞

Tropes: single mom, hurt/ comfort, fated mates, omegaverse/ shifting, tattooed and pierced Alpha MMC, one night stand that lives rent-free in their minds.

» The story moved along at a quick pace; it made it feel like the book was flying by and it did.

✦POV: Dual
Ada is scarred by a man who used and discarded her and has carried that betrayal for seven years. She doesn’t believe she deserves good things and struggles to accept help or care. I felt so much for her.

Levi’s yearning came through. He’s endearing, smooth, and obsessed; Ada makes him work for her trust and he shows up! He won’t let this second chance to make her his slip through his fingers.

They have fun banter and I enjoyed watching their relationship develop.

✦Spice: Open door
This one has high and plentiful heat; the mouth on him! 😮‍💨🔥🫠

Love at first sight isn’t my favourite but I love it in omegaverse. The instant chemistry of mates and that soul-deep knowing makes my stomach hurt in the most delicious way.

✩ I liked Grace’s and Catherine’s low-key maternal presence and snarky yet warm support. Ophelia is the perfect wing woman. They added just enough depth and meddling to the story to keep it entertaining.

♡ This was an easy pick; I was hooked! Immediately invested in Ada and Levi, I couldn’t resist picking it up at every spare moment. HEA and satisfaction guaranteed!

This book made me smile the entire time I was reading it, and I have zero interest in feeling weird about that.

Ada Langley is a single mom wolf shifter who already survived one alpha wrecking her on the way out, so she is emphatically not doing that again, thank you. Then the guy from her one truly unhinged night six months ago, the one she never got a last name for, only a mouth she still thinks about, opens a tattoo shop three doors down from her gallery. His name is Levi Madden, he is annoyingly hot in a scarred-knuckles way, and now they're stuck orbiting the same six-block radius and, eventually, the same project. Ada can see exactly where this is going. She walks toward it anyway.

The banter lands every single time, which matters more than people give it credit for in this genre, a lot of fated mates books skip the flirting and go straight to sniffing, and this one actually lets Ada and Levi be funny with each other before it lets them be feral. Levi is a genuinely good alpha love interest: possessive without tipping into suffocating, soft with her kid in a way that never feels performative, hot for exactly the tattoo-artist-forearms reasons you'd expect. And Ada's guardedness never curdles into martyr territory, she's cautious because the text actually gave her a reason to be, not because the plot needed conflict filler.

Trope Chaos Check
✨ Fated mates
✨ Single mom heroine (juggling a toddler and a 6'4" alpha with impeccable forearms, no notes)
✨ One-night-stand reunion (he remembered her. She pretended not to remember him.)
✨ Forced proximity via a gallery project neither of them technically needed to say yes to

★★★★☆ genuinely such a good time, I'd hand this to anyone having a rough week.

Massive thanks to Berkley Romance for the ARC, I tore through this in a day and would very much like to be invited to Ada's next gallery opening, professionally or otherwise.

Review of advance copy received from NetGalley. THANK YOU, NETGALLEY!

Vibes: Artsy, insta-love
Tropes: One-Night Stand, Alpha/Omega Pairing, Fate Mates
Spice Level: 4/5 spice level

3 Sentence Plot:
Ada Langley, an omega shifter and single mother to Perry, an adorable 6-year-old, threw caution to the wind for once and had a one-night stand with Alpha shifter Levi Madden, and now she can't get him out of her head. Levi, low-key devastated that Ada ran out on him after their night together, bumps into Ada at the art gallery she works at when he moves back home to open a tattoo shop. Levi can’t help but want to spend more time with Ada, who is being guarded about her life and her heart, especially when her ex, Grady, tries to come back into her life.

Thoughts:

These two are so adorable and soft with each other, but also horny af. I really enjoyed the character building with these two, and while it did feel very insta-love, you still got the push and pull of trying to do what you think is the right thing. We didn't get as much omegaverse world-building as I would have liked. I would have loved it if we dived into the politics of having alphas and omegas in the world, but this book stayed on the fluffier side, only touching upon it occasionally.

Grady, Ada’s ex and sadly Perry’s father, felt very much like a cartoon villain. I was half waiting for him to start cackling while revealing his evil plan. Every time he appeared, it brought up the drama level, but he almost didn't feel real or threatening.

Overall, I really enjoyed this one for the plot and the spice.

Rating: 3.75/4, rounded up for GR

The plot of this book is that these two, Ada and Levi have a one night stand and then end up working together years later and have to figure out their chemistry and tension head on, while also being shifters and having that in the mix as well.

Overall, very cute story from start to finish. There is a whole lot of push and pull, instant attraction and Levi is down bad for Ada from the get-go. They are very soft for each other and I am a forever fan of a protective man so this story hit all the spots for me. Lana writes some amazing spice in this book that really just was the cherry on top of the amazing love story and I am a forever fan of her shifter books.

Outside of the main plot, the story had some weak points and felt rushed at the end. There was so much tension and drama leading up to the end and I dont feel like there was much resolution in the few lines that hashed everything out. I wanted more of the happiness that Ada and Levi have, after they get through the drama that unfolded throughout the story. I also wish we had more of a fleshed out story on Levi's end, his coworker, his shop, his own family tension. It was sprinked throughout but nothing felt settled in the end.

While I did enjoy this book, and will recommended it, I just wish there were a few more chapters to finalize everyones journeys. If you are looking for a feel good romance between two shifters with some drama and tension sprinked in, this one should be on your TBR.

The Soul Mate is a sweet and spicy shifter romance following Ada, a single-mom omega and Levi, the alpha she had one unforgettable night with - only to have fate bring them back together six months later. Ada is guarded after her a bad relationship in the past, while Levi is down bad from the moment he sees (well... smells) her, and he yeeeeearns. Their reunion definitely has fated mate vibes and it's really sweet. The story itself is fun with a tattoo shop, an art gallery project, family drama, and a whole lot of chemistry.

I enjoyed this book! The insta love was a little tricky for me at first, especially since I usually prefer a slow burn romance with some time for the chemistry to build, and the pacing felt a bit rushed at times. That said, I loved watching Ada slowly let her walls down, and Levi’s unwavering devotion to her was EVERYTHING. He was such a soft, supportive alpha, especially with Ada and her son. I loved how openly he communicated his feelings. The Omegaverse elements were pretty easy to follow, though I would have loved more world building around the alpha/omega dynamics and the social side of it. Overall, this was a fun, low-drama, cozy, very spicy ending to the series, and I’m definitely sad to leave this world!

I feel beyond lucky that I was granted an early copy of The Soul Mate by Lana Ferguson; thank you so much @netgalley for this opportunity!

I have every single one of Lana’s books sitting on my shelf right now, and I can safely say that her werewolf books are some of my fav’s! They just have the best tension, passion, and angst, and this one was no exception!

I loved Ada and Levi’s connection, and I especially appreciated the no third-act break-up. I also felt like this relationship was the perfect blend of realistic and fairytale like. Ada has an 8-year old son, Perry, and his father is not in the picture. This makes Ada weary of dating and bringing anyone around because Perry is her entire world. Except she can’t stay away from Levi, and comes to realize that she really doesn’t want to.

Levi, oh Levi. This is a man after my own heart. An up and coming artist who is taking over the art scene and an exceptional tattoo artist he knows he’s meant to be with Ada from the moment they met. He is so patient and supportive. He does all the right things and doesn’t even think twice about where he falls in line compared to Perry. He knows they are a package deal and honestly, doesn’t even think twice about it!

I tore through this book! Lana never misses and I can’t wait for everyone to read it! The Soul Mate hits the shelves on December 1, 2026 and you definitely won’t want to miss it!

First, I wanted to thank NetGalley and Lana Ferguson for allowing me to read this book early!

I’ve fallen in love with this series from the very first book, and it was so bittersweet to see it end, although, it ended in the most perfect way.

This book is so cute, and there’s absolutely not a single thing I would change about it. It was such a light and fun read that somehow cured my soul.

Ada, who is a single mom and hasn’t dated since her son was born seven years ago, has a mind-blowing one-night stand with a mysterious, handsome man named Levi.

Six months later, they suddenly reconnect, and there’s a tension and attraction between them that they simply can’t deny. Ada is trying to heal and allow herself to love again, while Levi is doing everything in his power to show her that he’s worth taking a chance on.

Levi is such a great MMC. He’s so pure and lovable, and I absolutely loved him. Seeing Ada finally stand up for herself and open her heart to love again was so healing.

Overall, this was just the perfect book to read: a fun romance, a short and easy read, and genuinely laugh-out-loud funny!

The perfect ending to a series I’ve loved from the very beginning. 🤍

First of all, thank you to NetGalley and Berkley for the arc in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own <3 I always love reading Lana Ferguson's books, so I'm excited to have had the chance to read this one!

This series has been so cute and fun, and Levi and Ada's story has been the perfect addition. They were so real and relatable as characters and while there was some definite insta-love (he definitely fell first), I absolutely loved the way it unfolded. Levi is just the real deal right from the start, and we love him for it.

Was it cheesy? Yup, a little! But in the best way. Just an easy, feel good read with enough character depth to keep you rooting for them and the right amount of struggle to keep you emotionally invested. The Soul Mate, just like the previous books in this series, is a fresh take on shifters and shifter dynamics. If you're looking for a "serious", fully immersive shifter read this may not hit your expectations, but if you're looking for a light, fun, flirty read and enjoy Alpha x Omega dynamics, this one is for you.

As will all Lana Ferguson books, this one brings the heat! Be ready for an equal amount of sweet and spice with this read!
