The directions are easy to follow and the pictures are very detailed. Plastic canvas is a craft that can be done by your children maybe like around 10 and up. I have been doing plastic canvas for a long time and find it a relaxing hobby.
Even though you might know how to do this already doesn't mean the stitches can't be the same. I'm thinking of using everything in the book to match the room I'm in so that I won't feel bad. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that has the patience and color eyes for the projects.
I have been doing plastic canvas for a few years, and even I found some of the instructions difficult. However, the pictures are clear, and I'm able to clarify what is to be done. If you have never done a plastic canvas project, this would not be a book for you. Advanced crafters may get bored. Very cute patterns. Instructions are written very clear and suitable for beginners. The basics are covered well and can be referred back to easily. Overall, I wish there were more pictures to show how stitches are started in different patterns and how to continue them throughout piece. I will be making some of these soon.
