Meet Heather Nelson a private investigator who lives and works in LA. Her 20 year class reunion is coming up and at 1st she doesn't plan on attending until her best friend Lindsay Robinson dies in supposedly a freak accident. Heather comes back for the reunion since they will be doing a dedication for Lindsay. When she arrives back in Iowa for the reunion things start to happen when a card with for get me not flowers on it and the words You Deserve To Die written on it her friends start to freak out. We have Reagan, Marco and owns 3 Italian restaurants. Selena and Josh. When Heather heads back to LA she doesn't really think much about the card till they all receive another. Then one of Marco's restaurants is set on fire and Reagan is supposedly almost ran off the highway that Heather comes back to investigate the strange happenings. Can she find out who's doing this and does it involve what happened their senior year when her younger sister was raped by a boy named Damien at a party she wasn't to be at, and Damien after they find out who he was months later and is found dead after drinking and driving and hitting a tree. What secrets are all these friends hiding from each other and can Heather solve the case before they are all killed?

I enjoyed the outstanding psychological thriller with its intricately woven twists and turns! Norma (N.L.) Hinkens is one of my favorite authors! When I seen this books release I immediately purchased a Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily reading & reviewing it. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Captivating

This is my first time reading N L Hinkens and I can only say I love her. As soon as I finished this book I bought a few more of her novels. I couldn’t put this one down! It was a puzzle being put together by great story teller!! 😀
