Book 2 in this series is another hit for this author. Finn and Sage are great characters. Ruckus the dog is a great sidekick for Finn. Our couple have to run from the bad guys and there are really bad guys in this story. The plot is well written, there are nail biting moments and a happy ever after. I did enjoy this book.

I love the way this author writes. I love words and I love the way she puts them together. This story has wonderful characters including an awesome K-9. There is lots of mystery and suspense along with action and the building of a friendship and more. It really is a very enjoyable book with a happy ending.

Intense
The book is intense from the beginning. Sage is an analyst and Finn is tasked with protecting her, but they stumble on something neither of them expected. Finn's dog, Ruckus is the hero in the story and he has taken a liking to Sage. A page turner, and I will grab the next one in the series.

Exceptional
Plot moves along quickly with few slow spots. Well written. Thoroughly enjoyed characters and dog. Liked funny side of Ruckus very much. Recommend anyone reading this book to enjoy it very much.

Out of breath
Great characters, fast paced action, river scene took my breath away. Strong female, smart, more than enough to handle life or death situations. The dog is beyond funny but also high points for take downs and security. Great book. Looking forward to #3 in series

Another fast-paced, intense story by Kate Voss. The action was so intense I had to stop reading, look up, remind myself to breathe, and check that I wasn’t in danger. I loved the characters, especially Ruckus, the dog.

Another winning action packed story from beginning to end. The main characters in these books are likeable yet very, very tough.
