This book is absolute unfiltered fun and I devoured every single second of it.
The premise is delightfully unhinged, centering on a messy but addictive dynamic between Lauren and two military men, Sean and Noah. Watching them navigate such a complicated, forbidden history was like watching a slow-motion train wreck that I just couldn't turn away from.
What made this story stand out for me was the effortless chemistry between the three characters. It never felt forced or overly dramatic, just pure, electric attraction that fueled every single page. The way they all clicked together, despite the wild circumstances, kept me glued to the story from the moment the sparks started flying.
The spice is definitely the main event here, and it is bold, playful, and incredibly hot. The author clearly knows exactly what she is doing, prioritizing raw chemistry and tension over everything else.
It is a fast-paced, boundary-pushing read that left me feeling completely frazzled, and I enjoyed every minute of the chaos.

𝗔𝗟𝗖 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 - Ash Beverly and Amy Hall absolutely killed this! They were the perfect voices for Sean, Noah, and Lauren. I loved this book before but the audio made it even better.

The chemistry between Lauren, Sean, and Noah was electric, and I couldn't stop listening. Amy Hall and Ash Beverly brought so much personality and tension to the audiobook, making this quick 2-hour ish listen even more fun. I never got the characters confused while listening and was able to follow along easily.

I really enjoyed the beginning the conversation between Lauren and Sean was easy and they flowed together so well. Don’t get me wrong I love a good age gap I didn’t enjoy her being called little girl seemed a bit icky. (Really my only flaw in general )
I loved the flash forward and how Lauren ended up being with Noah that was a total shocker. I loved that Sean never forgot her and looked for her. Wasn’t ever with anyone else until they met again. Their dynamic was good I felt them all together just for together like a puzzle being finished. I enjoyed how honest and open they were with each other throughout.

Hot, spicy, quick read and I LOVED it! The storyline was so easy to read and clever. Starting with a one-night stand and including a former stepfather and stepson. Lauren is THE one to watch and their dynamic works so well. I found the spicy scenes were written with care, clarity, and radiance and I will definitely be reading more of C.S. Silverne :)

This book was absolute chaotic filthy FUN and I devoured every single second of it. 🥵🔥 Clueless knew exactly what it wanted to be and delivered with zero shame. No complicated drama, no unnecessary filler, just tension, chemistry, dirty talking military men, and one extremely addictive dynamic that had me glued to the pages.
Lauren, Sean, and Noah together?? PERFECT. The chemistry between all three of them was ridiculous from the start. The second Sean reappeared at that birthday party I was internally screaming because the setup was SO messy in the best possible way. Fate really looked at Lauren and said “here’s the most unhinged situation imaginable, good luck babe.”
Noah was such a sweetheart while still bringing the possessive energy when it counted, and Sean? Lord help me. That man walked onto the page radiating confidence and trouble. The age gap tension mixed with the forbidden family dynamic made every interaction feel extra dangerous and addictive. And the fact Sean and Noah were completely on the same page about wanting Lauren?? Yeah I was DONE FOR.
This novella absolutely flies by but somehow still packs in so much chemistry and heat. The banter, the teasing, the tension simmering underneath every conversation… it was impossible not to binge it in one sitting. I kept telling myself “just one more chapter” and suddenly I was at the end wondering where my sanity went.
What I loved most was how natural the dynamic between the three of them felt. It never felt forced. Lauren fit with Sean and Noah in completely different ways and together they just clicked. Like three puzzle pieces held together with attraction, chaos, and bad decisions. My favourite kind of romance honestly. 😭

Let’s just say after reading this one, I needed a moment on my stuffie pile and hugged my giant Pikachu to relax after the heat I read. Lord knows my brain turns to mush with this one. Silverne has done it once again!
Now, to be clear, Clueless is in the world of Preyless. In this one, we got Aiden’s sister, Lauren, who meets a very handsome older gentleman named Sean. She spends one delicious night with him and that’s it. Yet turns out almost two years later, she ends up dating Noah, who surprise, is Sean’s “stepson”. To clarify, Sean knew Noah by marrying Noah’s mom and then quickly divorcing her, so there is no father-son relationship between these two, just friendship. BUT it’s not just that. Turns out Sean and Noah throuple together, as in they will be with the same woman together in a relationship. And guess who they want to bring into their circle since both men are hooked? Yeah you guessed it, Lauren!
Now, this novella is pure smut no plot at all! And the smut is hot, extremely hot! Hence why I needed to relax in my stuffie pile afterwards because man the things these three do together! And the fact they focus solely on Lauren! Obviously no judgement when Sean and Noah find out they had been with the same woman before knowing she was the same woman. Honestly, if you want this kind of read to just relax and numb out for fun, definitely check this novella out. You don’t HAVE to read the first book in the world BUT I obviously suggest you do to enjoy more throuple fun. AND there is a third book most likely involving the third brother who was introduced in this book, Cole! Oh I hope it is Cole!

This book was the perfect follow on from Preyless that I didn’t know I needed. Yet again, there’s no playing around, it’s quick and we jump straight into it with our FMC, Lauren the sister of Aiden from first book, on the day of his wedding. Lauren is feeling a little sorry for herself, she’s had enough of all the happy loved up couples and is on to the drowning herself in her single life sorrows at the bottom of a cocktail glass portion of the evening. She’s left the wedding celebrations and lands at a bar and in the line of fire of Sean.
Sean is also coming off the back of a break up and the two of them make a pact to be honest with each other, which ends up on them spilling out their guts, including the little tid bit that Sean has exclusively been in thruples with his step son in the recent past. I stayed genuinely invested despite the haste here as the connection between Lauren and Sean seemed nothing but genuine. There’s a spark, an almost infatuation in each of them for the other that isn’t just inherently sexual. They have their night together and then we have a nice little time jump to 18 months later.
Now, I have been known to despise a time jump but this was oh so perfect. I gasped when flipped to this page. A year and a half is almost the perfect amount of time to get a good yearn on the go and when we do continue, what would you know? Lauren has a new boyfriend, Noah, who is eager but nervous to introduce the girl he is falling for to his step-dad who he is very adamant on her knowing is not a parental figure in his life.
This book could of not played out better if I asked it to, the confrontation, the angst, the yearnnn and all packed into 90 pages? I honestly don’t know what else I could ask for other than more. I don’t think this was lacking at all and the author did an amazing job of fleshing out the storyline in the space that a novella holds but I could of easily read a 400 page book about these three people. I think I enjoyed this one even more than Preyless! Clueless is calling me!

You know things are about to get spicy when the novella starts with the disclaimer, "Clueless is an extremely forbidden short novella with little-to-no plot set in the Reckless Hearts world. If you are looking for a book with substance, you won't find that here."
The story opens with a chance encounter between Lauren and Sean, fueled by the question, "What's something you want to do that you've never done?"
And then, well, it's a lot of bow-chicka-wow-wow after we meet Noah. I'm trying to keep my review spoiler-free, but I really like the structure and how the development of each relationship is handled.
Clueless is a fantastic "between books" novella. It is a succinct story arc that will be exciting bonus content for people who have read the first book, but is also easy to jump into for those unfamiliar with the story, giving them a great entry point to the Reckless Hearts world and/or C.S. Silverne's writing.
I also want to highlight the content warning section, as this was incredibly in-depth and so well done. I was even more surprised (in a good way!) to see a resource list included. It was fantastic to see a novel, even a short bit of erotica, open with that much care.

The story opens with a chance encounter between Lauren and Sean, fueled by the question, "What's something you want to do that you've never done?"
And then, well, it's a lot of bow-chicka-wow-wow after we meet Noah. I'm trying to keep my review spoiler-free, but I really like the structure and how the development of each relationship is handled.
Clueless is a fantastic "between books" novella. It is a succinct story arc that will be exciting bonus content for people who have read the first book, but is also easy to jump into for those unfamiliar with the story, giving them a great entry point to the Reckless Hearts world and/or C.S. Silverne's writing.
I also want to highlight the content warning section, as this was incredibly in-depth and so well done. I was even more surprised (in a good way!) to see a resource list included. It was fantastic to see a novel, even a short bit of erotica, open with that much care.

Clueless written by C.S. Silverne is the continuation of the Reckless Hearts series. It is a novella, much like the first book Preyless. The series is interconnected, but does not need to be read in order to understand the storyline. I did read book one previously and I was glad that I did. I have read this author before and really enjoyed it. I want to thank Luna Literary and the author for this ARC review opportunity.
If you came to this series for the plot and not the spice, then this is not the series for you. It is deliciously spicy with a side of taboo and a dash of forbidden romance. The dynamic between Lauren, Sean and Noah was fast and fantastic, but did not feel rushed or forced. There was no lack of spark or chemistry. It was hot and heavy from the beginning. The POV switched flawlessly. Even though it was a short read I appreciate that we got to see the past between these three characters.
The book gave the readers everything they needed. There is nothing really left unsaid or unresolved for this trio. The family chat threads had me laughing out loud and was one of my favorite elements of the story. I am waiting for this series to continue. I am so intrigued by the brother and need to read his story. Go ahead and let yourself enjoy this naughty little story. You know you want to.

This is a quick MMF novella and WOW… it is an absolute ride 😅
Listen, you’re not really picking this one up for a deep, complicated plot; you’re here for the chaos, the chemistry, and the smut… and it absolutely delivers on that front.
I’m always a sucker for a good why-choose romance, especially when there’s MM involved, and I was immediately obsessed with the dynamic between Lauren, Noah, and Sean. The chemistry between all three of them was so good and honestly carried the entire story for me.
And the setup??
Forbidden in basically every way possible 👀
Step-son, step-dad, and the step-son’s girlfriend… yeah, this book knows exactly what it’s doing.
I also really liked the way Sean and Lauren first met.
For a shorter novella, this definitely packed a punch emotionally and physically lol. It’s messy, dramatic, super steamy, and one of those reads you fly through in one sitting because you just need to see what happens next.
The epilogue was also really cute, and honestly? I would absolutely read a full-length novel about these three.

What did I just read!? This book was HOT 🥵🌶️
What a good short story for a novella! The amount was perfect to tell a story about a girl meeting a random guy at the bar, and they just talk it away. Did I mention he is military?? 😏🤭
Few years past and she’s with her new boyfriend. And oh my gosh!! It gets even more exciting when she ends up getting to meet his step-dad!

I listen to the audible book but it might not be for everyone. I will say both narrators did an AMAZING job! I still loved it even though it wasn’t a duet narrating. Another thing, READ your trigger warnings!! They are there for a reason. But if you like steamy hot MFM and all these tropes and trigger warnings don’t affect you like me!? 🤭😏😅 READ IT!!!

I absolutely adored this one, which sounds like not the right word, but it’s true!
The way that Lauren knew the relationship/situation between Noah and Sean and the unorthodox “Step-Father/Son dynamic, before they proposed the situation to her was fantastic‼️
Because the meet cute at the bar turned into a hot “Glory-Hole” adventure turns into that one night stand turned into his step sons girl friend and the girl he had been searching for for over a year.
If that’s not fate then I don’t know what is…
But it was HOT 🥵, like really 🥵🤭
I love how we got more of Aiden, Casey and Rory (from Preyless) too! I can not wait for the next one, with Cole 🤩

Noah is Sean’s stepson and is currently dating Lauren. Lauren and Sean had a one night stand almost two years ago. Things get interesting when Lauren come face to face because Sean has been searching for his perfect girl since she left.
The dynamic with these three is simply perfect. The “dad” look has me giggling that Sean would give to Noah and Lauren. Also, the way that Noah and Sean were with one another. Ohmygod. At first, I love it was just going to be just pure spice with Noah and Sean but it’s so much more. Also, when Noah calls Sean “Daddy”.

This story wastes zero time pulling you in. The FMC — who’s connected to the first novella through her brother — steps into the spotlight with a mix of curiosity, impulsiveness, and charm that makes her easy to root for. I definitely recommend reading the first novella beforehand, not because you have to, but because it makes the character connections land even better.
