This is a refreshingly different closed-door contemporary romance!

It features a STEM heroine who has just landed her dream job designing world-class roller coasters. Kaori Minami is also a Japanese princess who has fought hard for her independence and is going to great lengths to hide her real identity. When she meets her boss, Theo Riverton, sparks fly… too bad that falling for the boss is off-limits.

I enjoyed the well-presented grumpy/sunshine, the he-falls-first, and forbidden-attraction tropes, and was rooting for someone I empathized with and understood her predicament. I was caught up in a compelling read with wonderful tension. Cheers to an author who crafted something unique and managed to execute it well.

Kaori acaba de terminar la universidad con un plan muy claro en la cabeza, conseguir el trabajo de sus sueños diseñando montañas rusas y dejar atrás todo lo que viene con ser princesa. Cuando por fin lo logra, la realidad no es exactamente lo que imaginaba. Nuevo país, nuevo trabajo y un montón de expectativas encima, algunas propias y otras que no puede quitarse tan fácil.

En Orlando empieza desde cero, intentando encajar como una ingeniera más mientras oculta quién es realmente. Pero no todo es tan sencillo cuando el trabajo se vuelve intenso, sus compañeros empiezan a sentirse como una familia y su jefe resulta ser alguien que no olvida fácilmente. Ella quiere demostrar que merece estar ahí por su talento, no por su apellido, aunque eso signifique enfrentarse a dudas, presión y a un futuro que no se parece en nada a lo que planeó.

Coasting into Love was such a great read and honestly had so many things I love in a romance.

The writing style immediately pulled me in—it was easy to read and really flowed, which made it hard to put down. I also absolutely loved the representation of a woman working as an engineer. It added something fresh and made the story feel even more engaging.

The dynamic between the characters was so good. If you like grumpy x sunshine, this definitely delivers. Their interactions were fun, and I found myself really rooting for them.

And the forbidden love aspect just made everything even better 👀 it added that extra tension that keeps you hooked.

Overall, such an enjoyable read and definitely one I’d recommend if you love character dynamics and a good romance.

This is my first Tomi Tabb read and I really enjoy it!
I love books that features STEM! As a female in the STEM world I just really enjoy it!

The FMC dealing with two aspects of her personality. The story was full of romance and its hidden aspects on the details!
A Close door romance that did not need anything else. Just a genuine love story on the details
The MMC also hides some aspects of this personality and together they conquer the challenges they face with their families..

A fascinating story with so many interesting tidbits along the way! Wonderful characters that include the work team and internationally known friends. This book has just about everything you could want from technical discussions about engineering and structure integrity to sweet romance. But as terrific it all is, something is rotten in London at the parent company.
An impressive story that left a lasting impact on me.
