The Centaur
Two fated mates discovered their bond, but Zephyr struggled to open up, and Keoni worried he wasn't seen as an adult. Would these two figure out a way to be together, or would their romance crash and burn?

Telling Zephyr we were mates in the middle of an argument probably wasn't the nicest thing to do. But at least it pushed him to finally accept the help he was being offered.
With the Sanctuary on the mend, Zephyr and I could finally focus on our relationship. But after years of being friends, it wasn't easy to change gears, especially for Zephyr.

Somehow, Keoni had turned from someone in need of rescue to a self-assured man in the blink of an eye, and when he told me his real age, I started seeing him in a new light.

The Centaur is book 4 in The Sanctuary series, and it features a sorcerer who's learning to accept help, a centaur who wants nothing more than to be with his mate and his family, and a meddlesome, loving found family (including a menagerie of animals and a baby!)
The Centaur is the last book in the 'Forest' area, and while it features Keoni and Zephyr's complete story, the series is best read in order, starting with The Naga.

Stella Rainbow's final book for "The Sanctuary" was a delight, but then she's never disappointed this reader. For those of us who follow these stories, which she expertly continues to weave together, we FINALLY learn more about Zephyr, the headmaster and creator of The Sanctuary. The part the centaur, Keoni, plays in this is so sweet. And as an added bonus, we get to learn more about this differently-abled centaur by looking into his past. I so enjoy Rainbow's work and all she puts into her books. Her background is equally interesting and enriches her writing, so if you're not familiar with her, I'd encourage you to check her out. MORE PLEASE!

Happily ever after
Keoni and Zephyr are the conclusion to the forest chapter of sanctuary and what a wonderful conclusion they were! I’m a big fan of Stella Rainbow’s work, I love how light and fun they are to read and how cute the relationships always are. I’m so happy to see Keoni and Zephyr both get their well deserved happily ever after together. I loved learning more about these characters that have become such a big part of this series and seeing them both talk about their pasts and heal from them together. I love Keoni taking care of Zephyr and seeing them support one another. It was also very satisfying to finally see everything in Sanctuary go back to normal and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

Great story
I absolutely loved this story. I’ve been waiting for Keoni and Zephyr’s story and it was definitely worth the wait. All of the characters are so amazing and the world building is fantastic. I really enjoyed getting to spend some time with other characters and meeting new ones. I can’t wait for more.

Very sweet story finally showing us more about the guy who built the Sanctuary, and we finally got to learn about their past, and we got so much more. Very quiet book, very sweet, very vulnerable.
