I accidentally sexted my student's single dad—a silverfox Pakhan. Then his Valentine’s gift arrived— Mile-high club. Then a baby in my belly.
Bumping into my student's dad—naked. I thought I was sharing a forbidden fantasy with a friend. By mistake… it landed in his hands.
He texted back. Dirty words. Shameful commands. Made me blush, made me wet, made my thighs tremble. Valentine’s Day. He claimed my innocence in his private jet.
Mile-high club—check. Pleasure taught—check. But I had no idea he was a ruthless Pakhan… Or that he was about to become something even Daddy to my baby.
If he knew I carried his child in secret. He'd remind me my body… Forever his. With Ropes. Silk. Control.
DNF at 39%. So tired of the use of “private clubs” to make a story seem edgy or dark. The story is slow moving and I gave up when they went to the club. For a single dad/teacher romance there was very little attention paid to the neglected child or a plot in general. I like heat but I need some plot too.
The title implied more use of a trope then was actually utilized. At the beginning, there had to be a complete suspension of belief. Then in the middle, the writer settled into the story she wanted, and it flowed. The ending was odd in that it just ended. There were a few dropped threads that were mild irritations and could have been left out. The mom and friend didn't enhance the story. Otherwise, it was a decent read.
This is Leonid and Laurel's story. While the characters were two dimensional for the most part, there were sparks that showed more. It would be nice for the author to expand those main characters. Laurel is Leonid's son's teacher who notices that he's become withdrawn. She is caring and determined to help her students but never really stands on her own. The conversation with the principal shows her lack of strength and steel. Leonid seems finally willing to accept he needs to help his son. For most of the story he seems arrogant and trying to be dominant. There were a few peaks of his caring - taking are of Laurel when she was ill for example. You know this book is going to be good just from the opening pages and Black does not disappoint with this sizzling read. She is his son's teacher he comes to his home for a conference but walks in unannounced and sees more than of Leonid than she expects followed by saying out loud what she is thinking. He mishap has her running from the house, but it jumps starts a connection that was well worth reading.

Peter this book Peter this book was good and it didn't disappoint
My friend's daughter read this book and said oh you've got to read this book And I was so glad I took her advice. The characters were enthralling and captured my imagination. They were so well described I could visually see them The storyline It was like most Mafia books. But I think in this book the characters really made This story stand out. This author has a way with words that keeps you reading and I will be reading more of this authors books.
This book grabs you from start to finish especially the very beginning. I love how Leonid the Pakhan of the Bravta had a heart of gold for the ones he loved and his men but didn’t take any bull from others. Leonid and Laurel were both strong characters that help make the book. Get your book today you’ll love it.
DNF I only got a quarter of way through this book. This girl is so stupid. First off, she’s supposedly a teacher. Every time she answers it’s with “yeah” instead of “yes.” It’s driving me up a wall. But her behavior is just so ridiculous. She’s all “I could lose my job“ but has no problem flying off for the weekend with the guy. I just can’t anymore.
Laurel didn't expect to have a passionate romance and definitely not with one of her student's father. Leonid could not help his attraction to her and when they come together it was explosive. This story was exciting, intriguing and overall very steamy. I couldn't get enough of it.

Loved it. This book had all the tension, love, laughter, steam you could want in a story, even if he failed to tell here what he really did for a living. It gets better, his son really likes his teacher and when she is fired the replacement is mean, dad just has to go and make things right.
Super spicy age gap, pregnancy, and just an overall great story. I was immediately pulled in to this one. It just had a way of grabbing you and kept you turning the pages. This story has tension and heat. I couldn’t put this down. I devoured it in one day. Can’t wait to read the next one.
Had me on my seat from page 1 to the end. A well rounded story with proper beginning, middle, and end. Love all the steamy parts. Wish there was more with his son. Alexei though.
Now this is spice!! Leonid and Laurel start off this book hot! And he is obsessed with her from the beginning. He tries to get her out his system but becomes OTTP real quick. This man has a mouth on him and Laurel loves it. The spice is good and i’m glad we get some story behind it too.
Pretty good story, kinda different for a mafia style story. Loved the characters and they ignite when together. You won’t be disappointed in the story.
