A Baby for My Billionaire Stepbrother 1

Rate this book
"I’ve been waiting to claim you for a long time..."
"Go take the bus, freshman."

With one cruel phrase, James had shown me exactly what kind of person he was. Refusing to give me a ride home had shown the catty girls at my high school that I was fair game. It didn't stop there. For Christmas, he gave me nothing more than an IOU. I had to listen to him making girls from our high school moan through our shared wall. Even though our parents were now married, I knew I'd never think of him as a brother.

I was right, but in the worst way. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't stop fantasizing about acts that society would consider forbidden.

Four years later, when I came home for Christmas, James was there as well. Only he wasn't just a popular high school kid anymore. He was the billionaire CEO of his own company. And whatever feelings I had for him resurfaced immediately when I accidentally walked in on him in the shower. He relished the opportunity to tease me just as he had when we lived together, and I fell for it every time.

Only, when I left the house to do something I might regret, he saved me. It was only then that I found out that he had not only been protecting me, but he had wanted me just as fiercely all along. And, even though that IOU from all those Christmases before said that he owed me a gift, I wanted to use it to give him a gift that would last a lifetime.

A baby.

Cassandra Zara: It's often said that reading erotica is mostly for women, but look closely guys: The girls in my books act in ways that you will NEVER see a girl act in a porno.

Cassandra Zara is a young woman in her 30s who has wanted to write the kind of fiction she'd like to read for a long time. It may sound cliché, but she really does love long walks on the beach with her husband. Her new baby keeps her plenty busy, but she's overjoyed to have people who enjoy her work.

This is my first Cassandra Zara book and I have to say that it was pretty good.

I enjoyed her writing. She pulled me right into the story and kept me hooked. This had a nice build up between the characters.

My biggest complaint is the length. I felt like the story wasn't over between them and that it needed more. I'm not sure if it's just the start of a series but I wouldn't mind finding out what happens next between James and Allie

A Baby For My Billionaire Stepbrother #1 by Cassandra Zara

4 Stars (short story rating)

In high school Allie had been an awkward girl all thanks to her stepbrother James, he’d embarrassed her on day one and made her easy pickings for the senior girls to poke fun at. She hated him for it, while at the same time she was attracted to him, he filled many a fantasy and his was the face she saw whenever she was with another boy. Now at eighteen she was attending college in New York and had finally grown into the woman she knew she could be.

On her first Christmas visit home she was excited to see James and let him see how much she had changed. He was now a billionaire CEO of his own company, but he still took every opportunity he could to tease Allie just like he had when they lived together.

The title of this story is what drew me in but I wasn’t aware that it was a serial made up of a number of short stories. I have said it before, I really am not a fan of novels being published in a series of instalments. I think the saving grace for this one is the fact I have the next three parts sat waiting for me to read. Fortunately this instalment was enough to raise my interest and leave me wanting to know what happened next. So I am quite happy to continue the read and see where it takes me.

Is it taboo when the man you have been lusting over is your step brother for pretty much the last five years? Allison Masters wasn’t sure what to expect when her father married James Coleman’s mother, but what she wasn’t expecting was to hear his conquests through the too thin bedroom wall. James on the other hand was just a prick and had no clue. He took off and was fast on his way to becoming a billionaire. So when Allison is back for her first Christmas since starting college James seems to see her in a whole new light, but will it be enough?

This is a fast paced erotica novella what will leave you wanting more. Ms. Zara has created a wonderfully fulfilling character with Allison. She gives you enough background to understand some of the reasoning’s but this is definitely a story I would like to see continue. It’s hot enough to scorch your screen as you read and definitely something you are going to want to start and finish in one siting because though Allison waited and lusted for years you are not going to be able to. The only thing that wasn’t enjoyable was the end… Ms. Zara totally leaves you hanging, frothing at the bit for more…

This is a new angle for me in hot books. I'm totally hooked on stepbrother stories, so I felt curiosity over this serial that deals with a girl who's happy about getting pregnant by her own stepbrother. I wanted to know why she felt like this or how the author would pull it off.

I like it when the bad boy stepbrother seems to be mean, but in the end there are a few misunderstandings or secrets that make him appear worse than he actually is. I want to see a man redeemed by his own actions!

I missed the male character POV in this novella, and felt that she was more obsessed with him than the other way around.

Admittedly, the writing style is fine, it got me interested in Allie and her complex relationship with James. Allie harboured opposite emotions regarding him. He hadn't been good to her when growing up together, but there were glimpses of his attitude being more helpful than nagging.

I really enjoyed it when she's brave enough to go after what she really wants. And the steamy ending is off the charts!

Now, apparently this is a 5-part serial, so I think there's a lot of drama and sexy times ahead ;-)

We meet Allie, freshmen in college who has had the burning crush on her step-brother since forever. She masks her crush with anger and hostility at every turn not to mention he has made her the butt of too many jokes through High School.

James has grown up and through some lucky investments he has become a big wig in Boston. He returns home for Christmas to celebrate with his family as well to be honored for his accomplishments.

The two are thrust back together after having so many unresolved things between them. James holding secrets about things he has done and Allie holding her heart in a bank hoping for him to unlock it.

Initially the story seemed a bit forced to me, but as we progress through it, it improves drastically. I love a book with a bunch of sexual tension and angst. Cassandra Zara pulls it off well in this novella.

I was looking for a good quick read before bed....now I just need to bleach my eyes. WHY did I read this? The book started out really well, and I enjoyed the first 75 percent of the book. I am all for the taboo of books. The stepsiblings issue in this book was good, but the whole barely out of high school, wanting a baby while still going on shopping sprees on daddy's credit card was a little much for me. It wasn't even an issue in the book.

It's badly written with weak characters and storyline. It's also very short, you'll be done in about 10-20 mins. The end is incomplete and confusing. Apparently it's going to be part of a rip off series of books for this story line. Amazon needs to stop writers releasing sheer rubbish overpriced short stories. It's the buyer who ends up at a loss. Writers who want a fan base and establish, ent need to considers releasing a full good quality read with good content, and justify the price. This is not worth screen time for reading. Avoid it at all costs.

I received this book for an honest review.

This book is the first in the series and gives us a background on the two main characters Allie and James.
They are stepbrother/stepsister.
He would make her life hell while she was falling in love with him.

Christmas time they all come together to celebrate, and to recognize James' success in his business.
She gets to courage to confront her stepbrother and collect on his IOU

I wished the book was longer.
You will definitely want to keep reading this series to see what happens.

Well I'm just going to put how I felt about all the books on this one. but I'm not gonna give any spoilers away.

So I'd like to start out by saying the first few a kind of teaser. Then you get into the good stuff. I'd truly love to know what happens to them and there journey through the rest of there life. but where it stopped is kind of a cliff hanger. but This is a story of a step sister & step brother who have come to a block in the road. She had a huge crush on him in high school. He never knew. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

Okay so plot is in the title so no surprises unless you are really slow to the uptake.
You have this college freshman named Allie who has had a crush on her step-brother James since his mother married her father. Now with a little New York and courage in her system she is ready to cash in the IOU for. ....him

Single pov (Allie), simple plot, some sex, a lil drama and a quick part 1.
Got as a Amazon freebie so worth the price. Wasn't that bad but I couldn't connect with the character. I kept rolling my eyes at Allie but overall it was okay.

Holy Hotness!!!

This is the first book by Cassandra Zara that I have read and will certainly not be the last!!! This book was nothing but HOT from the first page until the very last. I was drawn in and wanted more when the story ended.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes their reading to be a little dirty ;-) (and I mean that in the best way possible!!) I really hope that Ms. Zara makes this book into series and gives us more about James and Allie!!

I don't want to offend anybody but I found some lines from this story very cringe worthy! I think Allie is crazy, and I really wish to unread it. On the bright side, it's pretty short, and I have to say, I've read this type of story before (stepsister/stepbrother) and I enjoyed it, I just think that this story isn't for me! I can't bring myself to give it even 1 star!

Allie wants her stepbrother. James is a jack ass. When she finally gets the nerve to advance on him, to finally give him the greatest gift, a baby, he asks the dreaded "your on the pill" comment.

This was a hot read i just felt like a lot more could have been said in book 1! Can't wait to read the rest in the series

Ends a bit abrupt. Leaves you wondering what happens next.
Besides a wham, bam thank you madam, there is not much chemistry between the main characters even though they enjoy insulting each other.
I suppose the appeal is the forbidden fruit.

I came across this book as I was looking for something to read.

I really enjoyed reading about James and Allie. I was pulled right in to the store.

I will say the only thing I didn't care for was the length it was way to short. But I will read the next one.

Weird

And creepy. It was good until she started talking about how she wanted to be impregnated by her stepbrother...I guess that was in the description so I knew what I was getting into, but it just got creepy at the end. Sorry, I can't read number 2 and 3

Good read

This is a fast read but a very good read. It's Taboo for a Step-brother and Step-sister to have a relationship. but what do you do when Chemistry is so strong. Great read.

I don't know how to feel about this book

This book have started out good but towards the ending it seem to go flat. I don't understand for short story, this have a short 5 part series. Why can't the 5 books combine and make an full story
