I'm the author of deliciously dark, sexy, and thrilling MM fiction in various genres. I corrupt readers with salacious tales of possessive men staking their claims on the men who make their blood rise in certain places. I know... I should be ashamed, but I'm shameless. I'm a public menace that can't be stopped, and my characters are rude, sassy, charming, arrogant, and hotter than sinners in hell. They tell me what they want and I follow orders. As usual this book picks up where we left off in Commanded. It has to do with Théoden and his coronation making him Prince of the city. He will rule in place of King Ara while he's gone. Théoden has to tell his sons what is going on and his plans for them. Noel is confused by the whole thing and is uncertain what his role in this is and what the new changes will mean to him. He has been told he has to sire a child. He doesn't want to bring an innocent human into this world of death, sex and violence but he knows he has no choice. He hopes at least he has a choice in who he sires. He was still in training and had minimal knowledge of being a vampire. How was he going to sire a child and teach them when he was still learning himself. He had two weeks to meet, embrace, and train a human. Marco is in charge of training Noel. He wants to make sure Noel has all the skills he needs to survive. Like fighting skills, among other things. It's nice that we get to learn a little bit about Marco's past. It helps to understand him but he's still very unpredictable. Marco is going to be a brutal teacher and Noel will have to learn to curb his attitude or pay the price. At midnight all the vampires in the kingdom gathered at the King's command. After the coronation begins Théoden takes his place on his throne. After the King announces Théoden, Prince of the city, Théoden gave his own decrees. After that the entertainment commences. Again Nicholas has proved his worth. He has given us mystery, suspense, originality and imagination. I couldn't get enough of this book. Amazing, awesome and irresistible. Can't wait for Negotiation to come out. A must read.
Como dice el autor, este libro es raunchy, raunchy. Pero Super entretenido si estás por lo supernatural whit lots and lots of filthy sex. " Me lo estoy pasando teta! " a por el siguiente sin dudarlo.
OK, so this is the first one I have lowered a rating on during my reread. Not that this is bad necessarily but knowing which episodes came later that a far better, I need to lower this one slightly. Amazing developments and Marco and Noel's banter and sexual escapades are priceless. :D
“Blood of my blood, I bestow upon you my power and authority to rule, under the decree of the Kingdom of Ara, this territory. To defend it at all cost from all enemies. To continue to cultivate it and keep it prosperous. Do you accept the title and duty of the Prince of the City? To honor it with your life?”

Original Rating: 5 Stars
Easily my favorite of the books thus far. The plot and character growth is so brilliant...I'm even liking Marco more (yikes, did I say that out loud??) And I cannot get enough of Theoden...what a hot fucking bastard.
You have to love when a series just continues to give you what you love, over and over again. We are now into Season Two, showing more and more of the goings on with the vampires, their hierarchy and world. As much as I loved seeing the goings on inside House of Théoden, I am really loving seeing how they do things in the grand scheme of things.
Here, the big event is King Ara’s crowning of Théoden as the new Prince of the City. He will now rule over the territories as King Ara takes half of the other Lords and a few others off to conquer a new territory in Europe. This story sets the stage for change, both for Théoden, as well as Noel. Théoden appoints his sons as Generals, above the other Lords setting the new chain of command. Everyone is still under strict rule to sire two new vampires, and the hunt for Dante, the wolf-hybrid, are made top priorities.
As for Noel, he is now officially at the hands of Marco, who is to train him as an enforcer and to hone his vampire skills. Unfortunately, Noel is sadly mistaken in his belief that his embracing will put him on a level playing field with his brothers. He learns more about Marco and his past, along with his connection to Théoden, which only reinforces his position over Noel, who is still learning to control his new powers. He is getting there, but he still has a ways to go.
It feels as though this world is just beginning to flourish. We are really getting to know the players now, and the events are really getting interesting. Oh, you still have oodles of hot, gritty sex and edgy dialog with a seriously pleasurable lack of fluff. But, this story is really beginning to take shape and is doing so in an exciting and colorful manner. No doubt, Nicholas is a fabulous storyteller with a real skill at world building. I’m super excited to see what happens as each new element is added. We have had a taste of the dragons (more, please!) and hints of run ins with the wolves. The addition of Dante should be quite the show, and I’m more than ready to see more of Théoden in action. Bring on the next segment!
Call me an addict, but I am greedily waiting for every new book by Nicholas Bella by now! After the warming up in season one, the first book in the second season shows an other side than the "playful" one behind the closed doors of the House of Theoden. There really is a change now, and it's great! You really get caught in this new world Nicholas Bella creates and if I could stay there I definitely would! Noel really has changed and accepted his new fate and role in his new family. That he tries everything to learn about his new powers from his big brother to control himself...awesome. He doesn't accepts and changes out of desperation , he seems kind of proud but still is a little confused how to react in some situations. He wants to but has the feeling to betray himself and his past but also Theoden, when he acts to eager. He hasn't found this Balance yet But Marco...I couldn't get to him that close in the first few books, but now to see his "other" side, a (sometimes) patient and willing to teach him and additionally to learn how he was embraced... It really left me impressed and stunned. And I love his kinky side!!! The humor within their dialogs and the sarcasm...I couldn't help myself sometimes and had to laugh out loud...these two really are a match. I am more than curious for the next books now. There is so much more potential for so many more books now...my mind and fantasy are going crazy..And not just with the kinky hot sexy stuff!! Please let the next installment be released soon!
Theoden becomes Prince and many changes are happening. Nicholas delivers as always with an exciting and addictive read. Even more enticing is the tease and promise of so much more!
Noel is learning more about the world and family he belongs to. The history of his brothers is amazing.
Ok bare with me. I really struggled with the first season. Like I actually stopped reading 3 times. I love dark erotica, smut, D/S. I was recommended this series. Begged to give it another go. I really struggled to get past the rape and Degradation. It's not a romance. Think Vampire, Dragon, werewolf post apocalypse meets hard core porn. No boundaries, no consent. Season 1 was hard for me. Horrible.
I enjoyed this season so much more as there was consent! I guess that's the difference, you can explain alot away but if it's fantasy n reality. It can really change the yuck feeling. Having a scene of torture or flashback is sometimes confronting, but it adds to story. Definitely not the core erotica note of book. Or an entire book made up of back to back of non-consensual encounters it was just off putting.
So yeah, it made me sick. This season was completely the opposite, once they embraced the nature and consent was there. Boom. 1 star to 4.5 star.
So you have to go in knowing not a romance! Once your mind set changes and you approach it from a different angle it's actually great..
It's a very creative read, just as author says, there definitely isn't another book like it!
Another great add to the series. Wow, things are turning for House Theoden for sure. I loved that with his new set of books we are seeing more about the politics and world order going on. We have Noel branded and now Theoden is having his ceremony for being a new Prince. Still filled with all the sexy kinky scenes you've come to love. Add in the training Marco is giving Noel and am excited to see what this brutal beast can think of next for his youngest brother. Can't wait for the next.
These books are addicting...I gobble them up. They are twisted and vulgar and not for those who read of rainbows and unicorns. Theoden has been crowned prince while king Ara moves on to conquer more land.
OMG And JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT THE HOUSE COULDN'T GET BETTER!! I received an ARC of this FANG-TASTIC book from the author Nicholas Bella. In exchange for an honest opinion. This is Mismousey's very honest opinion of his book ASCENSION (HOUSE OF THEODEN #2) . Having followed this amazing series from the beginning- Until this second book in season 2 book 2. I have to tell each of you that this author only gets better with each book. Nicholas Bella takes his paranormal beyond the limits where no one has reached before. You are taken into the dark and romantic side of the vampire life In this amazing book. We are taken to the Ascension to the throne of Prince which Theoden is be given the title of. His sire chose him over all his brothers - and they are very jealous of him. Once his sire has made the announcement to his children. Theoden does to his sons and speaks to them. It is at this time that he tells them that they will each have to sire a child within a week's time. Also he is making them his Generals-not only that but he is going to embrace his youngest son. Also 2 of his sons are going to help the King in his army. Noel is to go with his brother Marco for further training and to purchase clothing that night. They are all looking for a man by the name of Dante. Plus they have a child to find and to embrace. Marco is mad at Noel -very mad at him and he has plans for him later that night when they get home. Now this is a fang-tasic dark erotic story which has been following the new vampire Noel life. It has a lot of twist and turns in it.To find out what happens to Noel- and his brothers along with the night of the crowning. You are going to need to read this story. Due to content of this terrific story - I recommend it to ADULTS OVER 18 AND THOSE WHO LIKE DARK ROMANCE PARANORMAL. Mismousey gives this a firm rating of 60 out 5 stars. I am looking for to reading the 3rd book in the Second Season of the House of Theoden. Nicholas Bella you are an amazing writer and I truly love to your books. It has been a pleasure and an honor to read and review for you.
~~Gifted by the Author and rated by me 4.5 stars~~
Nicholas is fast becoming an Author that delivers, his talent to feed you what you hunger for is amazing. He has his own style and it draws and keeps you entertained. This is the second book in Season 2, these are NOT stand-alones quick and to its gritty point. It will have you fanning your face and excited for his next book. Im still about Theoden he just has a rawr factor, arrogant but has earned his bragging rights. In this one we follow his rise to being the Prince of the City in control of his Kings kingdom while Ara is away. Theoden was in his element as he took his place and setting down his edict. Theoden wasn’t the happiest at his Sires decree about sending a few of his boys with him, but as he has no choice, Theo also knows his boys will shine. Noel is fast becoming the perfect pet, he has moments when humanity rears its head. The bottom line is he wants to learn about his new life and new family. Theoden sends him out with Marco.. And damn I cant figure if Marco is evil incarnate or does he just not like Noel. Marco if vicious in his thoughts as well as his deeds, he is Theodens right hand and he glories in that position. The Kingdom of Ara will be a hectic crazy place for a while, the King has decreed that each of the vampires sire a child of their own, that didn’t make either Theoden or Noel happy. Another side mission is to find and turn a rebel hybrid. All in all another remarkable read, I loved it. Thank you Nicholas... I do recommend this book but start with season 1 book 1 it will be well worth your time. Enjoy

“New Haven was mine, I just had to figure out what that meant.”
Noel wakes up to Theoden spooning him. And Noel is strangely happy. Noel is really enjoying being on more equal footing with his brothers. The guys always have wild and crazy fun, but Theoden and Noel absolutely set things on fire.
Noel’s closet is in…Theoden’s bedroom? Either it’s a temporary setup, or someone is getting special treatment.
Great news—Jonah will be shipped off to Greece, to aid the King. Noel is very pleased.
Theoden’s meeting with his children brings additional intrigue. The man means business, and he has a plan to keep the city under his capable control.
We gain quite a bit of backstory on Marco. How he was chosen as Theoden’s first child, one thousand years ago, in Italy. Pretty cool stuff there.
Marco as Noel’s teacher…sometimes informative, sometimes instructive, sometimes patient, and always brutal. When the two travel to the Outskirts, it’s fascinating to see Noel reconciling who he was before with what he has become.
The book ends back in the stadium. Theoden’s coronation. He has new rules, new taxes, and new proclamations…
“You’ve earned it, and after last night, you’ve proven that you’re the only one in the city who deserves it.”
Episode 2 follows the same tone as episode 1. There's less sex and more storyline, which isn't a bad thing. The sex scenes are still hot, but now the reader is given a deeper look into what's going on. The reader will also learn a bit more about Marco and perhaps it will ease up on the feelings that have grown from the overbearing right hand of Theoden.
Tensions run even higher as Ara's new degrees along with some from Theoden are announced to the populace of the Kingdom of Ara, and Noel still seems to be a rebellious when he really needs to just get over it.
There's again, no cliffhanger ending, but enough hinted at to point to the next episode of the series to make the reader anxious.
I look forward to reading Negotiations, episode 3 (book 9) of this series.
In this part Theoden becomes Prince of the city. Noel embraces his vampire life adjusting to feeding off humans and having sex with his "brothers"and "father". If you're not into dark, gritty, gay vampire sex then this isn't the series for you but if you are, you're in for a treat that will melt your popcicles. I love these short novellas, just perfect for a quick read in the tub. Steamy, sexy, hot.
After Commanded, I wasn't so sure of this series but I can say that this book was worth reading. It had more feeling in it. Theodeon had some decisions to make. Will continue these books to see what the outcome is
In comparison to previous books this one was pretty mild. Noel is still learning his place in his new world and Theoden is rising in power. This books plot was slow paced but held your attention.
As the story progresses the more interesting it gets. Noel now has to sure his own and fight against those he once was a part of. Theoden has been promoted to Prince. More to come.
Vampie's, Dragon's, and Werewolve's. Every time I think this series can't get any better Nicholas Bella proves me wrong! To be a supernatural in this world has to be amazing!
I'm still on the fence about Marco, but now I'm not sure what to think. I'm steal team Noel, he's growing but still seems to hold on to some humanity. I hope he doesn't get I. Trouble for telling George to run. Theo was crowned. It's getting so good. Marco is super kinky.
There isn't much to say...another amazing episode...I am eager to see how Noel handles his training from Marco and how powerful he will become...off to episode 3!!
