About the author

The mother of two incredible sons, Michael and Douglas, and grandmother of Mikayla, Cheryl Faye values her close family ties more than anything. The second of five children born to James and Barbara Smith, both deceased, Faye has always been a fan of romance novels, and romance, in general. She began writing love poems and short stories as a teenager, usually inspired by her current crush. Faye's first full-length novel was actually written on a bet, but with that challenge a flood-gate was opened and the stories just kept coming. Cheryl Faye's hope is that her readers will be able to identify with her characters in a very real and personal manner and will be inspired by the real life situations they find themselves in and work their way out of.

This is my second time reading this book and for some reason did not enjoy it as much as the first time. This time I felt the story was too dragged out and not as realistic.
