whew! my goodness
This series is everything! I have really enjoyed immersing myself into this series. I truly love the brothers and how they move unapologetically. I just wished they handled Bakari back when he was laying hands on Des just to give her peace and freedom to life her life on her own terms. Geneva is a low down joker that needs to be dealt with. Alana is going to find the trouble that she is looking for messing around listening to Geneva. She is going to find out the hard way that Geneva isn’t only anyone side but her own! They are both playing a dangerous game and will lose, in the worst possible way. Dee and Imani got those hot hands and served Alana what she was deserved, but that wasn’t good enough in my opinion. I need book 4 asap. Vee, please don’t keep us waiting long…

They played now games with how they handled DJ and the fact that Daddy Givinchi is back on the scene made my heart drop!!!…
Jackie finally got her dog day and so did Bakari!!!…I was excited about those 2 being picked up!!!…
Now I need Geneva to get her serving of Karma because she is doing too much and to dam bold for me!!!…
Alana was not prepared for the can of Whip Ass Imani and Des opened her ash and Geneva said nothing!!!…
Now, it’s the reality that the children that thought their fathers were gone is now facing them!!!…

The characters in this book were crafted to show their growth over time. I am eager to see how their story concludes and what unfolds afterward—whether they marry and have children or if these events are reserved for book 5. I honestly was done book 2 but I had to see it through. It’s a lot of words but for what ? Describing the mood of each chapter but never describing the characters is crazy. I couldn’t tell you want anybody looks like and we then made it to book 3. The storyline then changed a few times throughout this series. I’m wrap this shit up in my head and be done with it.

Such an amazing book!! Vee Bryant loves to stir the pot! Every time there is some peace in the book, she drops a bomb. This plot is full of so many variables and new potential book ideas. I’m trying not to drop any spoilers.
