The story in itself isn’t a bad one. It’s a great idea although we as the readers can’t really get deep into the story cause the story is told in the shortest sentences known to man.. it’s not just short on pages but also on words. Literally when you have one page open (no exaggeration I mean any of the pages !!) imagine there being 1-3 words per line and that’s it. “Yes” No one moves. Then she nods. “No” (There’s not even a he said/she said added.. it’s confusing) unfortunately it’s not just one or two pages as a way to make things more interesting or underline an especially exciting scene - that I could understand but it’s all the pages. I would guess the words per page is around 1/3 of normal books. If that doesn’t bother you and you like not knowing exactly what’s going on - that book is for you! I did like the relationship between the main characters the storyline was interesting.
'Broken for the Alpha is a dark, obsessive rejected fated mate wolf shifter romance featuring captivity, weaponized heat, forced proximity, pack politics, and an Alpha who will burn the council to ash before he loses his mate again. One fortress. One feral bond. One Alpha who is done obeying.'
The characters were very complex and dark and obsessive. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building continues to excel and impress. All in all a great addition to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

This novella was awesome. This was so intense. The danger and chaos had me on the edge of my seat. I was turning pages like no other. The world building was so well done. The pacing was perfect. I devoured every single book. This has been an amazing series.
