Read all 6 books back to back and rated them all 4*
It's a good series, keeps you guessing what is happening next and tbh, it's not difficult to work out, but still enjoyable to progress through
If you want heavy space opera, this isn't it, but the overall premise is fun to read although you do wonder if the author has a change of tack when Defender/Valiant makes an appearance and.pushes the story is an unexpected direction
The romances Archer gets up to make for an interesting sideline, until Bette comes along, the it becomes important to the main story. You start to wonder where it will go wrong, I won't spoil it
Will be interesting to see if the author feels the need to push this out to a book 7 and possibly 8, there's scope to do so, although I think it might be best to finish here

Good final book for six book series
A very enjoyable book that tied up loose ends, the final solution ended the book quickly, it was almost anticlimactic, however I enjoy John Spearmans writings very much and look forward to more in the future.

Same old:same old
Mr. Spearman has done it again, gripping novel, good characters,plot line that moves smoothly along, I like it, one caveat, please tone down the rampant romance, save it for the movie script to undoubtedly follow! Good work keep writing!!

Very entertaining book by a very effective and knowledgeable author. I have read another series by this author and enjoyed it also. Good job, keep it up.
