Five years ago, I buried my wife and poured everything I had into two my career and my daughter. Becoming a full-time Cheer Dad wasn’t part of the original plan, but I showed up. Every practice. Every competition. I watched Rachel and her friends grow up in front of me. I never once looked at them as anything other than kids. Until this summer.
Rachel is eighteen now. Graduated. College on the horizon. But her squad still treats my house like their second home—pool privileges, spare keys, open fridge. I’ve always trusted them.
Then I come home early from a business trip to find Naomi—Rachel’s best friend—sunbathing in my backyard without a stitch on. I should have turned around. But I couldn’t stop staring.
After that, I can’t unsee her. Not when she’s flying through the air in a tiny skirt. Not while she’s jumping up and down like that. Naomi isn’t a little girl anymore. She knows it. And she knows I know it.
What starts as a fantasy turns into a secret, and now, I’m in trouble. Naomi’s getting brattier by the day, teasing me, testing me, pushing me to the limit. I guess I’m having fun, but I can’t stop thinking about what will happen if my daughter ever finds out.
Cheer Cuties is a steamy, age-gap romance about temptation and the dangerous line between being a devoted father…and a man who’s been alone for far too long.
Intense and complicated. Excellent story telling from a new author The Dad succumbs to his daughter’s best friend and cheer teamate . Can’t wait for what’s next.
The first half of the book is a long seduction. Very nice! The observation details are keen, the way people move, posture and communicate physically are very evocative and sensual.
