As the fourth book in the Game Changers series, Eff Marry Kill is another fun and entertaining romance! I’ve said it before, and I’ll probably say it again when I get to the last book, but I SO wish I could be part of this girl group! These girls are the definition of true friendship, always showing up for each other through every step of their journeys. And, of course, what better way to spend a girls’ night than drinking way too much wine, playing games, and getting your friends into situations they can’t escape from?
That’s exactly what happens to Nova! When the girls are playing a game, they make sure Nova has no choice but to pick the man they all know she likes. Unless she wants to marry the Blob (which is honestly genius on their part), she has to choose Huxley, her brother’s best friend!
I absolutely LOVE it when the guy falls hard and fast for his girl and tells everyone that he’s in love with her and that she’s his and only his but somehow forgets to tell HER! And in Nova’s case, even when Huxley does tell her, she doesn’t quite believe him.
Huxley and Nova’s story was such a sweet, playful, and entertaining romance. I loved their chemistry, their back-and-forth banter, and watching their relationship develop as they worked their way toward their HEA.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
When Nova arrives home after a fun night and game with her friends she finds an unwelcome surprise in her room, so she reaches out to her brother only to be advised by Huxley, his best friend, that her brother is out of town. Even though she wants nothing to do with him he is at her door determined to assist.
Huxley has wanted Nova from their first meeting however she has never given him a chance. This situation is the perfect opportunity to show Nova how he really feels and when he finds out what is holding her back he is determined to show her that she is the only woman he wants.
Nova and Huxley were so much fun together and the heat between them intense. Once they overcome the misunderstandings between them it is full steam ahead and Huxley isn’t about to let anything stand in their way.
POV: Dual, First Person MCs: Huxley and Nova OW(M)/Cheating: No 3rd act breakup: No Instalove: Yes, but the story takes place about 18 months after they meet. Huxley Saint & Nova Riley story and the final book of this series. Under 90 pgs. He falls first and HARD. He is totally obsessed with her and has waited Four hundred eighty-three days for things to finally click into place for them. She thinks he has been playing a game. They both have feelings and when he goes big with his gesture she can’t deny the truth of how he has always felt. Quick, fun, easy and just the right amount of spice. She totally won in her game of eff marry kill.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't know if Nichole Rose can write something I won't love. This story is hilarious, spicy, and will make you swoon with all of those bookish colorblind flags 🤣! I absolutely adored Hux. He's my favorite. I have had so much fun on this journey through old ways to tell our futures. I am sad to be done with this friend group, but none of these stories will be a one and done read.

Eff, Marry, Kill is the fourth and final book in the Game Changers series, and it certainly does not disappoint! Like the previous three books, this story delivers plenty of humor, entertaining interactions, and romance.
Who doesn't remember playing games like these as a teenager? For Nova, the game becomes more than just entertainment when her friends choose Eff, Marry, Kill for her. Already dealing with a difficult roommate who is determined to push her out of their shared apartment, Nova reaches out to her brother for help, only to find herself speaking with his friend, Huxley, instead.
What follows is a hilarious and entertaining journey as Nova and Huxley navigate their growing relationship. As the story unfolds, we discover why Nova believes a future with Huxley is impossible, while watching Huxley patiently work through her reservations and break down the barriers standing between them. He is determined to build the relationship he has wanted for so long.
Explosive, entertaining, and filled with laugh-out-loud moments, this story also delivers some heartfelt and more serious moments. It is a wonderful conclusion to an incredible series and the perfect send-off for this unforgettable group of friends!
❤️🔥 HE WAS NEVER HER SECRET — SHE JUST DIDN’T KNOW IT. ❤️🔥
Huxley Saint… sir, you had me at protective, possessive, and secretly planning to marry her. 🫠⚾️
I had so much fun with Nova and Huxley! Give me a cocky baseball player who falls first, a fiery curvy heroine, and a brother’s best friend romance filled with instalove and misunderstandings, and I’m ALL IN.
These two had me wanting to shake some sense into them while simultaneously cheering for their happily ever after. 😂 The fact that Huxley was so completely gone for Nova while she thought she was his dirty little secret?! I loved watching that misunderstanding unfold.
This was exactly the kind of fun, swoony escape I wanted, and I already love this series. Nichole Rose knows how to give me romance that keeps me turning the pages and leaves me smiling. ❤️
If you love protective heroes, secret love, he-falls-first romances, and a man who knows what he wants, add this one to your TBR!
Favorite quote: “I don’t hate him. I just hate the way he makes me feel.”
Because sometimes the person driving you absolutely crazy is the person you want most. 🫠💋
It's always so sad when a series comes to an end, especially one as fun and nostalgic as this one! This was a really quick novella, under an hours read, and it jumps right into the tension between Huxley and Nova. Huxley was obsessed with Nova in the best way possible, loved her from the first meeting, and didn't hide it from anyone, except for Nova apparently. Nova thought he was just stringing her along because of it, but with one crazy bold grand gesture and everything was out in the open! I knew going in this was going to be a short one, but I do wish it was longer in some places like their first meeting, details about his tattoo, etc. Sometimes it felt a bit too rushed in the details, but Huxley being Huxley made up for it! It was steamy and loveable throughout and I really enjoyed this ending to the series. Plus the epilogue with them all in it was perfection! No cheating or OM/OW drama, dual POV, brothers best friend, HEA and an epilogue 3 years in the future. Sad to see it end, but looking forward to the new series that's coming up!
I had such a fun time reading this one! Nova and Huxley were an absolute delight, and I loved the dynamic between them. The banter, the tension, the little moments, EVERYTHING. Huxley had me swooning because this man was so completely gone for Nova. The way he knew what he wanted and wasn't afraid to show her just how serious he was? Give me more men like him, please!
I also loved Nova's personality. She brought so much sass and fun to the story, and watching her slowly realize that Huxley wasn't playing games with her was so satisfying. The chemistry between these two was undeniable, and I was rooting for them the whole time.
It's a short, sweet, funny, and spicy read that had me smiling way more than I expected. I honestly wish I could spend a little more time with these two because I wasn't ready to say goodbye!
A perfect little romance with plenty of laughs, swoony moments, and a hero who falls hard and isn't planning on getting back up.
Nichole Rose ended the Game Changers series on an absolute high note! Huxley Saint is the perfect blend of a smooth-talking alpha male and a devoted golden retriever. He has been hopelessly in love with his best friend’s little sister, Nova Riley, for years. Everyone knows it but her. Nova feels the same, but she refuses to be anyone's hidden secret and assumes Huxley will never tell her brother. When a roommate crisis strikes after a wine night, Nova calls her brother for rescue—but Huxley answers instead. Thanks to a twist of fate and a housesitting gig, he's there in five minutes. I was hooked from page one. An excellent, five-star read!
Eff Marry Kill is the final book of the Game Changers series and we get Nova's turn with non other than her brothers team mate Huxley.
If you're a fan of ⚾ Instalove ⚾ Interlinking Characters ⚾ Interconnected Standalone ⚾ Obsessed and Protective MMC ⚾ Steamy Scenes ⚾ Banter ⚾ Grand Gestures ⚾ Brother's Team Mate ⚾ Long Term Mutual Pining ⚾ Pure Love ⚾ Dual POV ⚾ He Falls Hard and First ⚾ HEAs
Then Nichole has you covered with this. The entire series has been a great read, but there's something extra light hearted about this one that made me giggly. Brilliant read, perfect for when you want a pick me up and a laugh, but are short on time.
Eff Marry K!ll delivers pure rom‑com joy with a delicious dose of swoon. Nova and Huxley’s chemistry jumps off the page, and Huxley is so hot, protective, and impossibly swooney in every scene. This one is playful, spicy, and packed with the kind of moments that make you kick your feet.
Read this if you like brother’s‑best‑friend romances with a hot, swooney athlete who falls first, chaotic friend‑group setups that accidentally lead to fate, protective moments that make you melt, late‑night rescues, and sports rom‑coms where the hero shows up for the heroine every single time.
Now we get Nova and Huxley's story. Huxley saw Nova for the first time a year and a half ago and boy did he fall hard and fast. He instantly told his teammate/her brother and never made a secret of his obsession. Everyone knew about it...just not Nova. Nova never would have thought she had a real chance for a life and a HEA with the hot baseball player who could have literally every woman he wants. Well now he finally has the chance to convince his woman to give him a real shot. Instalove, OTT, J/P obsessed, a bit of a misunderstanding between these two, sweet, steamy, romantic and safe with an awesome HEA and absolutely no drama😍😍😍😍😍
Nova really likes Huxley, but refuses to say anything to him. He’s a huge flirt and she doesn’t want to be a notch on his bedpost. But when she needs a save and her brother is out of town, he rushes to her rescue.
I really like an alpha male who takes charge—and tells off the evil roommate—before he moves her out of her apartment and into his.
A quick read with a nod to a child’s game and a woman who takes a chance on a guy who adores her.
Huxley was in love with his Starlight. Had been since setting eyes on her a year and a half ago. He’s part of her brothers baseball team and knows he’s the best pitcher around. He also never hides the fact that she’s the love of his life. Nova, on the other hand, thinks she’s his secret and that he doesn’t take care seriously. What follows in this book is Hux making this very public statement and very right for Nova. I loved it!
Eff Marry Ki** was such a delicious read, and I know everyone is going to devour it in one sitting. Nova and Huxley were everything and more, and it was so cute that he called her his Starlight. All the swoons, all the steam, and all the happily every afters wrapped up in this one.
This Game Changers series was such a hit in my house!
This was so fun to read. Finally we get to see Huxley AND Nova share their true feelings with each other, with no more misunderstandings. He makes it clear that she is his and he is hers.
I loved how he convinces her, despite some shady tactics. LOL! It was also so hot to see him come to her defense several times.
This is the last book in Game Changers series. Im going to miss this group of best friends. A fun rom com novella with sexy baseball player Huxley and his best friend's little sister Nova. The banter between Novs and Huxley was hilarious. Man did these two have chemistry . I smiled throughout the story. Loved the whole series.
I have loved every story in this series. Nova thought Huxley only wanted her for a fleeting fling, but in just a few hours, he proved to her that it was quite the opposite—that she was the woman of his life, and that he had fallen for her the very first moment he saw her. And the final epilogue was what I enjoyed the most.
This is very short, but still packs a punch! Huxley has lived Nova from afar as long as Nova has lived Huxley. Her roommate’s bad decision is all it takes for them to finally see how the other feels. This book hit all of the highlights even though it was less than 100 pages long. That’s impressive in my book!
Really adorable! Loved Nova and Huxley. Poor Nova thought Huxley was just into her for the challenge. Little does she know it was love at first sight for him. When Huxley finds out Nova doubts the depth of his feelings he goes BIG of the grand gesture to prove himself. It was actually hilarious. And the epilogue was adorable. Quick easy cute read.
An absolute 5 stars for this book! The romance was top notch, loved how he chases her. He knows what he wants and he isn't stopping. The humor as great as well as the steam. Loved it
I love Huxley and Nova together, they were made for each other! Such a wonderful and beautiful love story! Soo soo good and soo soo H.O.T I absolutly loved it! 🥰❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️❤️😍
