I am a 42 year old Mother who enjoys reading and writing. I would never presume to imagine my work being anything than palatable - while simplistic and hopefully entertaining.

Growing up with my Grandma who easily became engrossed in a book [to the point where she gave my younger brother permission to set me on fire!!!] and her daughter - my Aunt - I draw a lot of my inspiration from the people and situations I have found myself in...

Poetry has always been my passion and the only way I felt comfortable expressing my emotions - which was a hard thing to do when you grew up in a home where 'talking back' and 'being cheeky' wasn't met with enthusiasm. This lead to at least one poetry award in the past.

I never gave up on my dream, and I write now for the pleasure of writing. The only validation I seek is that of my own peace of mind, I can say: I've done it.

Without the support of my husband and daughter - and the various readers who continue to support me, I may very well not have achieved as little as this... So a big thank you to you too!

This was a great continuation from book 1, Hidden Carmina. The story picks right up where we left off, and there's no hand-holding (i.e., history lessons, repetition). The tale carries on at a fast, fascinating pace. There's a sizable cast of characters that we get to know in this portion of our tale, each intriguing in his/her own right. They add color and texture to an already rich, imaginative storyline with our main characters. The "rescue scene" had me on the edge of my seat, cheering Carmina on, and the recounting of the alpha pack leaders' "love story" was particularly amusing and fun. The ending, though, blew me away. I don't want to give too much away, but I totally didn't see it coming, and it leaves me hungry for the conclusion!

I was given a free copy of this book for an honest review and I've been living in the world of Carmina for more than a week now.

Carmina Revealed continues the story of Carmina Nightshade. In the first book Hidden Carmina, we all wondered what Carmina really is. Is she an immortal, a half-breed? She doesn't fit any of the stereotypes. In this 2nd installment of the Second Breath Chronicles, we finally know. Her love story with Liam continues and grows ever deeper as they try to cope with the ever changing situation in The Valley and within their pack and clans.

For lovers of supernatural fantasy, this book is highly recommended. It has all the ingredients that will satisfy your weird palates (me included). From wolf to lynx to vampire to ancients to half breeds... and not the conventional kind. There is a whole world of characters in this series. The support characters are strong and relatable. One can actually create separate stories out of them. It is a fantasy adventure and a heartwarming romance. Liam and Carmina are soul bonded and their love affair is the centerpiece of this series.

The story is simply enjoyable and captivating. It deserves a 5 star. I admire how fantasy authors build these worlds in their minds and make it believable for us readers. I couldn't put the book down. I wanted to stay with Liam, Carmina and Raina and all the other characters. It's so entertaining that I can forgive the technical errors splattered here and there. Read it and enter the world of the Ancients and experience the real meaning of romance and intimacy.

After “Hidden Carmina” I said – and rightly so! – that I hate this author. That still stands. The reason still the same. That being said, I feel lightheaded and not entirely the good kind.
Yes, she made up for crushing me. Yes, I loved it. And yes, I still want to go on a hunt. No, I won’t give any spoilers, BUT if u read “Hidden Carmina” then u know to brace urself for this one. While its not as big a roller coaster ride (Roland *coughs* Jackie *coughs* Dimitri *coughs* and the constant back and forth that's Liam) it’s in its own way MORE so. Yeah, I know, doesn't make sense, but U'll understand once u read it…

“Carmina Revealed” answers the questions of her inner voices, the Ancients and Carmina’s parents, it also … nope. Changed my mind, sorry, not telling.

A brilliant sequel. Carmina learns that the heart that has stopped beating can still be broken. And that true monsters have nothing to do with the supernatural, but come from all too human feelings and manipulations
