This story is written through the eyes of the side character from Next Move. It also, parallels the events from that book. Kristen did a magnificent job blending the right amount of creepiness while bringing an emotional connection with the character. I also recommend other works by her.

So I read this book twice I was so enthralled in it the first time I read it again in two hours so I could see if I missed anything and it was so good the way she was able to write this book off of Mike minicky book this was on marks life how things transpires and how he was pulled into the darkness and what he was gonna have to do the twist of the ending was incredible showing the other side of what could have happened in that house Kristen is an amazing writer

I was very impressed with how Kristen Moran took the character Mark from Mike’s version of Next Move and made him a vital part of the story. The way she squeezed in the sections that went back to Next Move made me feel like they planned it from the beginning; as if Mike knew she was going to do it by leaving open moments that surrounded the character in his book. I love how she gives you a two-sided version of this story. You get to see the right move and the wrong move, and the paths they would each have created.

This book was brilliantly intertwined with The book written by Mike Minicky “Next Move”. It takes a lot of talent to mesh two stories together in this nature and I felt the author did it beautifully. The details were on point and the writing was fantastic!!!
