The Golden Series of the Prophet's Companions

Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (R): The First Caliph of Islam

Rate this book
Most people have a best friend who they favor amongst all of the people. The best friend of Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) was Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him).

He was the only person, other than the Prophet's (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) own wife, who accepted Islam immediately and believed in him from the first movement that he announced his Prophethood.

Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) always remained at the Prophet's (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) side and he had no reservations about spending his wealth for the sake of Islam and the Muslims. The Prophet's Companions all recognized his superiority, yet he always remained humble and sincere towards all.

This is the story of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and his rise to leadership of the Muslim Ummah.

Its a highly illuminating appraisal of Abu Bakr's character and life. We shall remain ever grateful for his services and support to Islam. There are many instances mentioned in this book chronologically which highlight his indisputable superior position in Islam. Good read! Not very detailed but gives a fair oversight of his character and life.

I enjoyed this biography. The story of Abu Bakr is really sad and touching🥺 His love for Allah and Prophet Muhammad was beyond every thing. His dedications, his sacrifices, his life and death was only for Allah and Islam.

But, this book is too short for me :') I was ready to read a long detailed biography of Abu Bakr. But, that's okay. I still enjoyed the book.
