“I was grinded down to such a fragile state that could only be renewed with living water.”
Oh Lillie I don’t even know where to start but I’m so proud of you — the words written in this book were so familiar because you live them out each and every single day speaking that truth into everyone you know and love. :)
Getting to know Lillie through some of these seasons of heartbreak and mending has been a true blessing to witness first hand. Reading her heart and love for Jesus, which is so beautifully poured out on these pages, was so inspiring.
Lillie’s story represents what it looks like to break down and give up all the pieces before the Lord and allow Him to mend them back together in His likeness and purpose. The pain and brokeness she went through was just a pedistol the Lord was using to point the glory back to His redemptive power. She has exemplified her story in a way that will makes those who don’t know Christ wonder why she clings so hard onto this God dispite her circumstances. I know that this book is just the beginning and that the Lord has so much more instore for you in this story that He is writing in and through you, Lillie.
Lord, I pray that this book reaches the person who can relate to this story of brokeness and reformation. The one who will learn to sympathize with those who have unspoken struggles. The who can surrender the one thing they know they need to surrender. Lord, I pray You break down any walls of pride and just let Your glory fall through; consuming in grace. Let this vase that was once broken be fortified with this living water and be thrown into the furnace to be refined by You. Use Lillie’s story to bring light to the fact that we aren’t called to be sufficent on our own but to be broken to the point where we need the grace of an everlasting Father to suffice all our needs.
This book is steeped in Lillie Grace’s love for the Lord. For a young woman, she has endured much and is faithfully surrendering her story for the Lord’s purposes.
Her lived experience encourages me to extend gratitude to God in the darkest corners of my life and continue to surrender to His will day by day. She acknowledges the difficult reality of painful experiences through the lens of our everlasting & eternal reality.
There is always a sadness that follows finishing a memoir. A lingering feeling settles in, and you sense that the story isn’t quite over.
Lillie Grace, this is just the beginning of the story God is writing in your life. The pages aren’t in view, but the promise of Romans 8:28 reigns over you. I’m so excited to see how the Lord continues to heal and deliver you & build His kingdom through you!
