AmarA was born and raised in the Twilight Zone (though she did not realize it) on a steady diet of Star Trek and amid a constant influx of classic books from Anne of Green Gables and Ramona to Mark Twain and Jekyll & Hyde.
She studied acting through adolescence (Meisner mostly) and discovered the world behind the stage lights which transformed her into a scenic designer, painter, and sometime costumer.
Traveling led her to explore using her skills to illustrate, to help shy young men propose to their beloved ones, to brand and to entertain.
She has been writing continually since her first Star Log journal in 1990. AWAKE: A Vampire Tale is her first novel.

It is the 4th volume and I am still astonished each time by how much I enjoy this genre of narrative, the ambiance that emanates from it, as well as the emotions it provokes.
