Freya lives a picture-perfect life with her husband, Dan - a respected psychologist on Harley Street. 👩🏼❤️👨🏻 Together, they reside in Mountview House, a stunning family home passed down through generations. 🏡 Dan has always been her rock, especially since their third date, when Freya tragically lost her best friend to murder. 🤗
But their perfect world begins to crack when someone starts stalking Dan, sending disturbing messages to their home. At first, they suspect Cynthia - Dan’s former stalker but she’s no longer around… so who else could it be? 🤔
As the threats escalate, Freya is forced to question everything. Could it be one of Dan’s former patients? Or someone new, dangerously obsessed? 🤨
While trying to keep their lives from falling apart, Freya begins to uncover unsettling truths. The man she trusted completely may not be who he claimed to be. 😕
How well does she really know her husband? 😱
This is the second book I’ve read by Natali, and she did not disappoint!! 😍 This gripping psychological thriller had me hooked from start to finish - I was constantly guessing right until the very end. Full of tension, suspicion, and twists I did not see coming 📖👀
The kind of story that really makes you stop and think… Who do you trust? Can you even trust yourself?! 🤯
Now I definitely need to read more of Natali’s books! 🤪📚
A big thank you to Bookouture for letting me be part of the tour but I actually bought the paperback myself because I just knew I was going to love this one! ♥️
This was such a wild, addictive ride! I’m giving it 4 stars because it was exactly the kind of bingeable drama I was looking for.
The Vibe: The story starts off strong and immediately pulls you into the messiness. It’s definitely a "popcorn" thriller—nothing too deep, but it’s high-energy and kept me turning the pages to see how far the obsession would go.
What I Liked: • The Suspense: It has that great "one more chapter" feel. • The Drama: The tension between the characters was top-tier, and I loved the constant feeling of unease. • The Pacing: It never felt like it dragged; it just kept the momentum going until the end.
Final Thoughts: If you want something fast-paced and entertaining that doesn't require a ton of heavy lifting, this is a perfect choice. It’s fun, creepy, and a great way to spend an afternoon!
My Husband’s Stalker by Natali Simmonds PLOT. TWIST. CENTRAL. First, I love the believe women elements of this book. Go off, Natali. I love a girl's girl. Women supporting women is the answer and the future. Beautiful.
Freya was a complicated character. She had a lot of trauma that made her insecure, and then she had a love bombing, gaslighting man, who made it worse.
This was so well done. The level of deceit and mayhem was brilliant. I did not see any of the twists working out the way they did, and my jaw hit the floor several times. The twists in this book will leave readers stunned.
Beyond engaging and totally addictive, this book captured me from page one. I adore how Natali tells a story.

This is my first read by Natali Simmonds and it won’t be my last. It gripped me from the beginning and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. It moves at a steady pace and gives you just enough to keep you wanting more. I will admit I found Freya so annoying and want to shake her A LOT. I really didn’t like Dan and he made my eyes roll to many times. This is an engaging storyline that keeps throwing the twists at you to keep. Would recommend.
Thanks to Netgalley Bookouture for the opportunity to review #myhusbandsstalker
My Husband’s Stalker by Natali Simmonds was such a fast-paced, addictive read. It kept me guessing right until the last second, with twists that genuinely caught me off guard.
I was so invested in Freya and her relationship — to the point where I was literally yelling at her in my head to stop and notice all the red flags. That emotional pull made it even more gripping.
A tense, twisty thriller that’s hard to put down and keeps you hooked the entire time.
Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for the advanced e-reader copy!
Natali Simmonds pulled me right out of a reader slump with this gripping psychological thriller.
Freya is deeply in love with her husband, a psychologist who has been incredibly patient and supportive after the tragic loss of her best friend. But when someone begins stalking him, Freya’s world starts to unravel.
Who is it? Someone from his past…they know Cynthia is far away and no longer able to harm them. Is it one another one of his old patients or a new one infatuated with Dan?
While trying to uncover the truth, Freya is also dealing with her father’s illness, not remembering things, work, compulsive shopping, and constantly watching her back whenever she goes out.
If I had a physical copy of this book, there would be red pen all over it marking the warning signs.
